Hi mate just watched both your vlogs of your giga and dreadnought. Curious to know what your thoughts are as you’ve had some length of time on both by now , how do they compare and if you had to pick between either which would you go for knowing what you know now as I have looked at both of these myself for a longer travel trail/ park bike
The Giga wins for me. Just a better all rounder, more nimble and responsive etc. If I was racing and on fast open tracks I'd probably go for the dreadnought though. If you do go down the Forbidden route then I'd definitely demo one if you can, especially as the sizing is on the bigger side compared to some brands.
@@4KMTBRider thanks for your honest reply mate most appreciated. Think the giga was the way I was leaning anyway so I think you’ve just confirmed it 👍🏻
Hey, got the exact same frame I’m building up, can’t wait til end of winter here. wondering what spring rate the coil was and what your weight is? Mine came stock with a spring rate a lot higher than what I supposedly need for my weight, according to Nukeproof, so I’m trying to figure out how big a shift to start with. Thanks!
I got the size large that came with the 500lb spring rated to a rider weight of 90kg. I am 90kg without kit and maybe 92kg with kit. I found at first the shock would blow through all of it's travel until I set it up as per the Nukeproof base settings. I have ordered a 550lb spring as a precaution which I will probably be trying soon. Good luck with the build, it's a great frame/bike 👍
Thanks, that’s really helpful. I’m about 80 kg without kit and also got the size Large with that 500. so I’m pretty sure I’ll need a lighter spring, just deciding between 450 and 475
I just got the Mega and its a plowing machine 🔥 Bet this is even more so by a tiny bit !
Yeah both awesome bikes! 🙌

Dude I done the same with my pads. So annoyed at myself!
Yep very annoying! I did actually revive my pads using some sand paper luckily.
