    Great Review Gagan ji but I don’t agree with a Few points !
    I own a Renault Kiger turbo MT. Certain things I don’t agree with the review are here as follows
    1) Power : The power of the Kiger turbo engine, especially with the manual transmission is amazing . It does 0-100 in 10.5 seconds which is faster than any other car or the segment . I’ve driven a Sonet turbo and venue Turbo DCT and both cars felt slower than the Kiger turbo , with higher test timings for 0-100 .
    2) Engine refinement : Kiger turbo engine definitely less boomy and more refined than the venue turbo, nexon turbo and sonet turbo . The kiger engine gives off a sporty thrum- at idle I agree that Kiger has vibrations, but When I rev it- vibrations quickly disappear. However on Sonet And Venue , the engines are more boomy , noisy and uncomfortable at higher Revs . At 5k rpm the Korean engines are struggling . That being said - Cabin insulation is not great in Kiger , which gives the wrong impression that engine is not refined .
    3) Fuel efficiency: We did a 300 KM full tank to full tank mileage test of Kiger on the highway ( after 3 years if usage with proper servicing ) -it returned 17 kmpl mileage which is absolutely unbelievable. This was on normal mode , 5 people , full AC and driving between 80-100 kmh on average. Whereas on highway , my cousin who owns a sonet got around 15 kmpl average mileage with 2 people onboard .
    4) Rear Seat Space and Boot space : We found the Kiger to be much much better in back seat space compared to the venue and sonet . It is actually on par with the Suzuki Brezza which I test drove around the time of purchase.
    Now on the negatives in this video which I totally agree with :
    1)Interior quality : The interior quality is mediocre at best , not the best in segment . ( but surely at par with marutis , but Koreans are much better here )
    2) Service : As ever , Renault service cannot match Maruti and Hyundai both in terms quality and network. However Renault has been very customer centric - their quality of service still can improve little bit .
    3) Electronics: Some of the electronics in the car are low quality - like the window relays and AC starter . I had to change window relays once , since purchase .
    4) Suspension- Now this is a subjective thing , though the suspension is noisy ( as described on this video ), it’s feels rugged and tuned to bad roads. It’s more firm , hence lends itself to better ride and handling. I found the dynamics of the Kiger better than the Kia sonet any day - the Kia showed more body roll . But surely the ride at city speeds is better on the Kia. That being said , the chassis of the Kiger feels rugged.
    All in all, for the price of a Kiger you get a baleno or an i20, and all I can say is it’s definitely a better option than those cars . It’s been a reliable companion to me for the last 3 years and hence I’m open to use it for the next 7-8 years or so without any hesitation. Thanks for review and keep posting !

      ​@@GaganChoudharyagreed completely had to sell my Kiger rxz amt in 1 year, due to these issues & many more, biggest issue 9/10kmpl average even after driving with litefoot in city, Renault should learn from Citroen and bring 1.2 litter engine from Clio to Indian market for Kiger and Triber.

    Own a KIGER! At the value proposition you can live with few negatives .. otherwise it’s a good buy

    driving kiger for the last 1.5 years. No issues so far. For the price, it offers really good value. When you compare it with Magnite,
    Interiors and handling are much better in Kiger. Plus, Renault has a wider sales and service network. That's why it becomes a better choice over Magnite.
    Kiger is also better than Altroz or Baleno IMO, as you won't have to worry about ground clearance.

      Baleno has bigger 1200cc engine, better performance and more refined engine than kiger, the two cannot be compared

    Your review is pretty good! But looking at the price range, it's a value for money with features like 4 air bags, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, ABS, Air Purifier, 205mm Ground Clearance, Driving Modes, LED's, 3 way adjustable driver seat, 405L Storage, Wireless Charging, Rear AC Vent with charging point, Exceptional Space management and the beauty in looks! I feel it's a total winner for the price it comes in compared to the other cars you mentioned. I own a Kigar and I don't regret it as it offered value for money coz I really had to miss out on soo many features if I wanted to opt for the other cars and also pay more with less being offered.

    I am a big Renault kiger FAN, even though you highlighted many negative points which nobody noticed or shared before. though I don't own one, but few points that you highlighted make sense.

    I own a Turbo Manual RXZ for almost a year now. Done more that 5000 kms and at least in my car the engine is extremely peppy and responsive. It’s one of the reasons I chose this one over others. I have checked out almost every other car in this segment (sub 4 meter, under 11 lakhs) and this is by far the most fun to drive car (only the Turbo of course, not the NA one). There might be some issue with the car Gagan received for review because every single person who has driven my car has found the engine and space to be the best part about it. I agree with the quality part, it definitely could have been better but honestly I did not find it to be that much worse than what Tata or Suzuki offers in this very segment. I am not an aggressive driver but it’s still too early to comment on the longitivity of the car since it’s only been a year. But it certainly doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall apart or anything anytime soon. One thing that I absolutely agree on with Gagan is the gearbox. Like I said, I own a manual and the gearbox is not good at all. The gear stick is notchy and for me is the most disappointing part about the car. Renault could have definitely made it better and smoother. Overall, I don’t have any other complaints with the car. The suspension is great and the space and ride quality is amazing. Appreciate the honest review and it’s always a joy to watch Gagan.

    I have manual RXT variant 8mnths completed 10000 km, i am from uttarakhand, pauri garhwal (hilly area)
    Family members -5
    City average is 13-14
    Highway(dehradun to Delhi) average maximum i got 29 and minimum was 25
    I don't knw why people want to over speed it is good car if you like to drive under 100kmph
    Yes is has some cheap plastic but if you are someone who take care of your car then it will be well maintained for years.
    Tip- keep cleaning your car and if you want to make it look as new as possible then keep using polish on black part.

    I found Ashish Masih's review of the Kiger more refined, more from a city driving perspective. Tier 2/3 cities and their attitudes will probably defer from the urban perspective

    Next citroen c3 turbo please! It is also a budget car with turbo engine. however it doesn't feel soo build to cost in terms of mechanicals I think... please share your opinion sir.

    Nice vedio sir.
    Covered almost all positives and negatives.
    Being a owner i too have same view about postives and negetives of this car
    I own kiger turbo manual.
    Main problem that i face is inconsistent Power delivery.
    One thing you forgot to mention is the turbo sound . It doesnot sound good like duster turbo or vw group cars turbo.
    Turbo sound gives the feeling of cost cutting

    I have RXZ version and I totally agree with ur cons esp the quality of the plastics.. I have broken the AC knob and i didnt use much force .
    And Yes the A pillar is is a big big blind spot

    I own a Kiger RXZ turbo and i have driven almost 90K kms with my car. Each and every point is true. The body of the car is too light even maruti cars feel stronger if compared with kiger. The grear shift is large and hard also the gear shift ratio is very bad. If you are driving even at 60kmph you cant drive it in 5th gear. Fifth gear can only be applied above the speed of 63kmph. Engine refinement is so poor. It makes noise as a diesel engine.
    One point Gagan skipped is the AC. Too poor in peak summers. Feels underpowered. Even the engine power output in turbo lacks during AC is on.
    The reverse gear demands toooo much energy.
    Car is no doubt spacious inside but it starts making irritating sounds after here and there from the dashboard after 40 50K kms.
    The disc breaks gets rusty after every wash if car is left idle for even 1 day.
    The space between the clutch accelerator and break pedals is very less.
    Most of the Kiger owners i think must have faced this common issue of engine heating.
    When the AC is off and you are in traffic engine gets heated very soon.
    Even if the car has a turbo engine the power output is not that much as the car struggles initially to get into pace. And maintenance of the turbo engine is also expensive.
    I i have driven mu car around 90K kms i have spent more that 1lac in total for its maintenance and service in past 2.5 years.(Excluding the extended warranty that costs around 30K).
    The only good thing in the car is the cabin space, boot space, storage spaces, features. And whats bad in the car is its engine and its build quality.

    Hey Man, I honestly like your videos but, only just can not agree with what said about it's steering, honestly you can't complain about it's steering and centering, Autocar India gave this turbo CVT the best compact SUV car of the year..
    So all they are saying is all wrong? And plz , I own a Ford car, Ford is gone, Chevrolet is gone, Fiat is gone, Skoda VW would have gone, Honda Could've gone,
    Do you really want Us left no choice by sitting in India, no option to buy a common European or American cars except Maruti, Tata, Hyundai and Mahindra which will be only left at some point? Do you really want these foreign companies to leave India totally by nitpicking those things and left us no choice to buy a car from a reputed brand, kiger turbo CVT have absolutely no issues, infact feels amazing in terms of Drivability, Stability, and suspension at high speed , not even any kind of body roll , yes plastic quality is bad, but what plastic quality maruti gives? Plz support these great haritage brands PLZ , don't make these car brands leave India by spreading such kind of negativity. Every car has their own limitation, no car at any price range is perfect. Then why you guys don't pick car like, Celerio, Ignis, Alto, espresso, you tell them cars , those are craps maruti selling at 6-7 lakh then why all of your expectations come for europian and American brands when they are giving a good big cars at 6-8 lakhs, shame on you yaar.. Your unit must have any steering issue and kiger steering is way more better than any other car in this category, even better than Magnite..
    Don't spread lies.. plz Plz , you need toy loose type steering what hyndai offers on every cars.. Why don't you say that brand like maruti and hyndai started using more plastic in even engine compartments, why don't you reveal those kind of cheating what these brands are doing with Indians in name making lighter High mileage machines.. come on man, I really didn't expected this from you, I am not kiger owner or fan but my close friend owns that, I drove, Maruti, Hyundai, magnite, after my own ford, I found the driving is way more similar with ford with kiger in terms of handling and stability.. and Tata most unreliable car brand ever, though those cars are good in handling and feels heavy.

    Whatsoever you said about the cons, I do fully agree. But I'm surprised that you didn't include the throw of the headlight. According to its very difficult to ride on highway at night due to its poor throw.

    It's high time that companies like Tata, Renault, Nissan shall realise the importance of engine, clutch and gear box. Engine, clutch and gear box are the heart and soul of any vehicle. Even if you load your vehicle with a lot of features but if you ignore the key factors like engine refinement, power delivery, light clutch & good gearbox then your sell of vehicles will always be lackluster or mediocre. This is the department where companies like Maruti or Hyundai excel because they give more importance to the engine refinement, clutch and gear box. If you pay attention then you will realise that Maruti 3 cylinder engine is way more refined than four-cylinder engines of other car companies. Now Maruti has developed 3 cylinder engine which they employ in every lower segment low car like Eco Alto, WagonR and this gem of engine is really a capable one in terms of refinement as well as power delivery. If you drive the cheapest car of Maruti i. e. Maruti Eeco you will realise that it's engine, clutch & gearbox is way more refined and exceptional in terms of power delivery when you compare it with 3 cylinder engines of Tata, Nissan or Reault.
    In case of Tata they never relised that the 3 cylinder petrol engines in their lineup is the only sore point which is causing a lot of potential buyers to stay away from buying their car. Imagine a tata vehicle with engine refinement, clutch and gearbox of Maruti standard. If they achieve this they will be the segment leaders since their cars are top notch in terms of safety. But still after so many years also they dont realise their weakness.
    As far as Renault/Nissan is consider first they have developed a shitty 3 cylinder engine for the Kwid which was pathetic in every aspect be it refinement, power delivery, mileage along with eaqually shitty gearbox and now they have deployed the same engine with mild alteration into Magnite and Kiger.
    I have personally driven Maruti Eeco, Tata Tiago, Magnite and Kiger but when it comes to engine, clutch and gearbox the cheapo Maruti Eeco beats all these so called premium segment cars / psuedo SUV's.
    Why Maruti sells in huge numbers is that they got their basics right (Engine, clutch, gearbox) so much so that people are ready to compromise on safety (which they should not) and buy Maruti cars.
    I am not a Maruti fanboy neither own a Maruti but I seriously feel that Tata should do something about its engine and gearboxes. If they can't develop one then please collaborate with Maruti and source it from them. Believe me their cars will be segment leaders.
    I guess Tata employees are like government baabus seating in office. Coming for only lunch. They are least bothered about customer feedback, reviews, expectation so much so that they dont even know where their cars are lacking.

    Ground clearance excellent, looks great, sound system satisfactory, features sufficient in RXT manual, but main heart and soul of the vehicle that is engine and light system is not satisfactory, needs improvement.

    Kiger is 4 star but body shell is unstable which means it cant bear more load and impact. Better than this is even amaze vx cvt . 4 cylinder engine much better and long term reliability. 4 star and body shell is stable so can bear more load and impact. Nvh almost close to 0.
    Interior and over all fit and finish much better. Best...cost almost 2 lac less and unlimited kms 3 and 5 year warranty and can be exteneded to 10 years on a year to year basis.

    As a kiger owner i can agree with all of your points. But I'm a slow driver and not a long driving habit so i can ignore the point and my family is also happy with the car.❤

    I i have driven mu car around 90K kms i have spent more that 1lac in total for its maintenance and service in past 2.5 years.(Excluding the extended warranty that costs around 30K).
    The only good thing in the car is the cabin space, boot space, storage spaces, features. And whats bad in the car is its engine and its build quality.

    Not sure if this point was covered but in sub-15 Lakhs segment, this is one of the very few cars which offers automatic transmission in CVT whereas most of the other players are sticking with AMT . When I test drove it, the rubber band effect was also less compared to Honda Amaze in which I could feel that I had to really drag the car while picking it up from 0. This was on Normal mode and not on Sport one. Niggles as you pointed out are definitely present where cost cutting seems very evident. In this much budget, you get CVT, modernized french exteriors, compact in size but modest road presence with the clever designing, low to okayish mileage, protruding and cheap quality plastics, decent safety (4 NCAP), loads of features like wireless charging, digital MID, wireless android/apple car play, extended warranty uptill 7 years, hassle-full/free post sales service which is a hit/miss depending on the location. I think the bottom line I felt with this car is: "You get what you pay for".

      Almost same fronts - Punch n nexon, skoda kodiak and kushaq and taigun n tiguan.. so does kwid n kiger. Bhot se log kiger ni lete kuki vo kwid jaisi lagti h. Kitne immature log h dikhawa jyada matter krta h unke liye😂

    I own RXT manual, your review was spot on. A pillar ne kitne baar galat hote hote bachaya hai. But the thing is Alto se switch kiya tha to looks was the first thing and drive comfort features at this price point was something i was looking for. By the way long route pe 22-24 kmpl aur city pe 16-17 is the mileage I get (non-turbo).

    Your quality related issue with interior plastic are right. But in this price non of the car has anymore offer then plastic. The car your are driving is Kiger 2022 Bs 6 model Registration in 2022, probably a test drive vehicle. If we remove 3000 km driven which mean it was driven 1300 km for almost year. This is not realistic...Why put a claim you drove 3k ?

    I took this from Banaglore to Delhi and return, and this is my second car after Skoda. It has performed really well if you know how to drive. Obviously there will be lag in gear switch but that you will get even in 20 lakhs car, that’s the one problem with automatic. In Bangalore, it gives 13-14 avg which is good considering the traffic. And driving European car is all together a different ball game , the pleasure it gives. You cannot compare this with Maruti, Hyundai and the worst in driving pleasure being Tata.

    This guy doesn't even mention whether the car engine is turbo or naturally aspirated and calls it slow. Which car with naturally aspirated gives power in this budget range? And if u want great experience you can buy kiger with turbo engine. I don't really know if this review is even fair.
    My views are based on actually driving kiger turbo and various other cars in this segment. I don't think this review makes any sense.

    This is a baised review
    The car is very very under rated gem but with very minor niggles in its quality and can be excused.
    No other manufacturers are giving Cvt ( xtronic) which this reviewer has not even mentioned in his own damn 3months ownership vlog.
    Edit:: Dont follow such chumps test drive yurself and then Decide to act before booking!!!

    Gaganji, I drove my kiger rxt optional 24,000 kms in just 11 months, till date and I am truly and awesomely happy with it. Power lag is evident only in bumper to bumper traffic otherwise high speed stability is simply brilliant as I maneuver it at 100 between trucks,it gives that immense confidence. Maruti and Hyundai which you praise so much (definitely it's your job to review) are low on various parameters like, looks and mileage but rest build quality is absolutely below poor. For example, Hyundai Tucson is zero rating I hope you know that. Looks ka achar dalunga kya??

    Own rxz since 2 years and driven 40000km. I have never got a mileage (tank to tank) below 15 in city and below 18 on highways. I donot agree with mileage fact, even ive driven this at 100+ km/h n never got such dismal mileage as stated. Cheap plastics are not specific to kiger in this price range, cant pin it as a negative of kiger. Infotainment features are way better than any other car in the category. Engine and power issue are on paper lesser in comparison to similar priced models, but practically doens't make a low feel as stated.

    As a kiger owner it's a Good car but the quality is not that good if we compare it with other rivals, suspension is ok ok but it makes it too noisy, mileage is also ok ok, where I got 17kmpl in highway with the speed of 120-150 from rajsthan to Kerala trip. Overal it's a Good car but not too premium, Anyway I love my beast Kiger🤙🏽

    This is a purely biased review, as I bought Kiger CVT Turbo after comparing and test driving 6-7 competitors like Nexon and Sonet, Kiger CVT won in all parameters with best in class CVT, fast turbo engine, all necessary features with 4 star NCAP rating and great sport mode in much less price than brezza and nexon!

    I bought this car last year , I have found nothing good. The build quality is very poor, gear shifting sound, all the interior parts are low quality plastic,under power, service quality is very poor,make noise very much, and night visibility.is very poor .... See the main things are not good, don't go for looks ....This is not a good car, please don't waste your money, you may have other options .

    Tata has the worst in the industry quality control with their facebook group pages flooded with oil cooler failures, complete engine failures, gearbox failures, leakages, poor plastics, broken engine mounts and what not. Nissan and Renault I think still stand above Tata.
