This video is from the day after Shabani and Kiyomasa had their fight.
And a few days before they made up.
I had planned to release this video last time, but last time I released the video of them making up first.
The timeline has been reversed, but I think it would be interesting to compare when there is tension between them and when there is not.
Tensions between Shabani and Kiyomasa remained high the day after the fight.
As Kiyomasa kept his distance and stared at Shabani, Shabani was suddenly chasing after Kiyomasa.
It was yet another day of tension between them.

They have there moments like anyone else right we laugh and learn and benefit from the gorillas thanks they are very smart and intelligent animals always learning something new each day from them god bless you guys thanks you guys rock way to go they make good parents and grandparents stay safe and warm out there love you guys thanks !!! I know Shabani and Kiyo love each other in gorilla way, but Kiyo really needs to be in a bachelor group if they can't mate him up yet.

I watched a video yesterday where the whole family was chasing Shabani having fun. It was so warm to watch. I guess Annie and Kiyo were around 4 & 5 years of age at the time ❤.

In the wild, a young male gorilla will leave the troop before things get out of hand. Unfortunately when in captivity, this is up to the keepers to fix. Hopefully the bachelor pad will be built soon! 😊
This is so unfair to the troop, it must be doing Shabani's head in.But he has been a good dad to Kiyo, it must be stressful for all the family. Kudos to.
Shabani for trying to
do what he felt was
best. I blame the powers that be. The people who don't have the best interests of their gorilla's. Kiyo has to go but where, when, how. They have made so many mistakes. I don't think Japan had the resources & wasn't thinking of breeding Shabani the way they normally do. Shame on them. Shabani only has Haoko left, the youngest & older brother died last year.

I know that Columbus zoo is currently building an area for a bachelor troop, once it is finished that could be a potential place for Kiyo to go. Probably not likely though since it is so far away.

I do not think it would happen. They are basically close and love each other.
