This weapon coupled with this accessory will skyrocket Claude's ATK power
This is in my opinion the best way to get the weapon early with a 100% chance of success and not spend too much time on reloading.
It's even easy to pick and choose your Factor and try to fish for an even more broken weapon !

You can cover the weaknesses of the Ring of Might by doing the Challenge Mission: "Have a character learn 100% of all skills" which is simple if your just grinding. The challenge gives you the accessory "Colorless Scarf+" which gives you the "1/2 effect" for all elements and a free factor. You're basically just OPed with this loadout
True shield of Athena also gives 1/2 to all elemental same idea
Who cares about weaknesses if you had 4k attk

FYI, his stats are higher than the Iselia Queen and he blocks the Bloody Armor effect.
You can also equip two Rainbow Diamonds as accessories on Claude with 8 customization for a total of 10 and 100% success rate for the deadly edge + mithril, then +mithril again for the Aeterna. Don't forget about item orders from Contraband and using magic film to duplicate them to get extra chances at more mithril and good armor, etc.

I've been save-scumming and opening 20 item orders, haven't found mithril at all. Are you sure you can get mithril from Item Orders?

I also got ATK 20%. The factor comes in a yellow letters, so it should be like one of the best ones possibles to get I assume. I was pretty lucky too.
I was aiming for this factor, but i settled with insta death, i like it so far.

Wished they could of had the weapon appearance changed in this remake.
I got MP drain on mine, basically every time I hit with an attack it fully restores my MP so I can use killer moves forever without worrying about it. If I really wanted to trivialize the game I could have also used Bloody Helmet to be invincible forever.

One thing that will make resetting for rare factors so much more efficient (although not necessary, of course):
- Get Master Chef to at least level 3 or 4
- Use Master Chef: Combine 10 Fruit with 10 Grains to get Strawberry Rice Cakes (increases chance of getting more rare factors with Crafting)
- Use Master Chef: Combine 10 Eggs & Dairy with 10 Grains to get Sweet Toast (increases chance of getting more rare factors with Customization)
- Use the Sweet Toast before trying to roll for Aeterna+ factors; use the Strawberry Rice Cakes before trying to make the Rings of Might
You're still at the mercy of RNG, of course, but I feel like this might speed things up. Could also expedite the process by using the masterwork (and the 5% variant, forgot the name), but that probably isn't worth it. Hope this helps

Note:
You can normally find the ring of might from the field of courage,and pickpocket the blue haired girl with her boyfriend to the front right of the colossuem (in terms of the bowl) for another ring of might.
5:45 You can also craft ring of might via Rainbow Diamonds.
I was resetting to get this and ended up with the atk 20% factor 😳 I didn’t even know that was a thing haha stoked
Try HP Drain + Bloody Armor. It makes you pretty much unkillable if you attack fast enough.

But don't USE this weapon for HP drain If you can't HIT even Iselia queen at lv 255 on Earth mode with it you MUST give the MARVEL Sword the HP drain effect with the Bloody armors INSTEAD.
@@veghesther3204 ...why not both? (No, seriously, I am currently installing the game on Steam, and don't know if there is a limitation yet.) Use drain on Aeterna with its multi-hit (and thus multiple heals) attack for most uses, and drain on the Marvel Sword for the edge cases. Seriously, is there a reason NOT to put HP Drain on everything?
Edit: Apparently MP Drain is a thing, so Infinite Healing vs. Infinite Spells. Pick your poison.
If you don't want the elemental weakness from Ring's of Might have Claude do the Crafting specialty with Rubies to make Berserker Rings, gives double damage by permanently invoking the Rage Status that happens when a party member dies, can be crafted early game as soon as you have access to rubies. Also Ring of Might + Berserker's Ring is crazy damage if you want to use Killer Moves instead of star combos. Warning though, Rings of Might become somewhat hard to sustain in late/post game as some spells will just one hit any one with an elemental weakness, esp on Universe Mode
Bloody armors make you IMMUNE TO EVERYTHING so KEEP the Ring of Might on Claude/Dias for the entire game

@@veghesther3204 Or just play the game on Earth if you need bloody armour to complete the game. Just finished 100% of the game on Universe, all endings, challenges, unlimited gabriel, final group battles in the arena, ect without ever using bloody armour.
My trick: I played the game without relying on mashing the attack key
Yes, I was going to mention Berserker Rings. It's a second doubling of your ATK, and works with Arts which makes it better than the Meteor Ring.
If you're worried about the elemental resistance penalties, then you can make a Shield of Athena out of Mithril once you have a Magical Rasp to also resist all elements.
great video! what would be some of the better factor options for the ring of might?
I'm wroking on late game guides, including one with the best factor for each type of equipment and type of characters (figthers and symboogists), So keep an eye out for that.

A little late but after a few minutes of re-rolling i got mine with HP drain 20%! Now ima load my back up file and see if i can get the 20% attk.
What was that "birds of a feather" that multiple people had to have? Are any of those worth it?
I got the Factor: Instant Death >> is that good? or should I look for the ATK 20%?
Extra attack is more useful against bosses, remember that things like meteor ring give extra attack hits which is amazing.

i cant get the (+) version for some reason am i doing something wrong? I use Minos (+) and mithril to aeterna but I only get the non plus version
I found one Advancement The Customization allows You're a tax to have a 5% chance of stealing the targets drop item.
you could get a max of 20% atk factor it took me a couple of reloading to get it
So you can’t make this weapon if claude does not have the “customization” ability.

@@Jessim108 honestly you didn't miss much it's good maybe for the first 3-4h then you just get better stuff. Once you get your specialities established you can craft waaayy better stuff.

so I had less than 1% chance to make the sword since i only had level 6 customization at my measely level 20 Claude. I got it on the first try with atk+20% and decided to not chase for anything else.

Yeah that's not too bad, I had -1000% chance on my Rena (didn't have Claude in my party) and I somehow crafted 10 on my first try. Each of them had "scroll credits when you hit A button" which seems pretty good I dunno I guess I'll keep those what do you think?

If anyone didn't know they changed the name from eternal sphere to aeterna
everybody who played the original game knows.
They are changing the name of items, towns and other specifics to avoid copyright claims from the tri-ace

Can be done on both sides but Claude need to win his Tournament Match before Dias so you may need to level him up some with his AI

What percent did you get mp drain at, I wonder if it matters but I got mp drain at 5 percent

@Slade-83 I ended up looking it up online, you can only get 5 percent mp drain. But you can get 20 percent hp drain, both work amazing, No complaints here.

So I customized it with the Star Ruby and got another weapon. In this case Arterna is missable...?
It's only with the Mithril ! But you can get it way later on. It's missable that early yes

Meteor Ring add one hit to all your attacks, Rong of might double your ATK value, and light speed is Meteor Ring but 2 attacks instead of one, so basicaly twice as good as Meteor Ring

How ur level got to lvl 50 that early, any tips where to level up?
Probably did the krosse cave method. One character with lv4 scouting, then simply just keep 1 character in the formation and do max monster chains for around 2k+ exp per fight. If you get a specific formation you can boost that by another 50% exp when you hit 150 orbs for 3k+ exp. All the exp goes to a single character if its the only one in the fight.
You can also craft and duplicate counterfeit medals (they can drop from a certain bracelet as well) , which lets you level your characters up to 100 super early in the game. I honestly wouldn't do this specially on my first playthrough.
I'm not even there yet and I'm already Level 78. Yes, if a game lets me power level to insane heights -- Lasgus Mountain -- then I will! 😁
Near the frontlines in Lacour is also solid, get some chains of 5 and you get tons of xp, took a minimum amount of grinding and I hit 50 pretty quickly
@@Reveny13For that Flare ring + Anti Paralyze Claude the Flare lizards can kill Claude with their Fire Breath attacks Flare ring makes that do 0 damage and you either need a Paralyze null accessory or a NULL all status effects Formation.

Use crafting items 200 times is ???? On my game, why?
They go in order so in order to UNLOCK Craft at 200 uses you first need to USE it 100 times first the best way to do that it so buy Iron's and 20 copies of Claude's CHEAPEST buyable weapon in Cross City itself.
Best way is just spam cheap cooking item.
In that case of Craft 200 uses ONLY use Irons their the cheapest ones at 200 each.

Get the customize skill level to 8 and then use 2 rainbow diamond which will up 1 level of your action skill, bringing that skill to level 10.,
You could also make a food using masterchef super specialty which increase the rate of getting factor

But that's pointless when the MARVEL Sword already has a 100% HIT rate so its still the BETTER weapon to give a HP drain effect so that the Bloody armors can't kill Claude or Dias AT all.
how do you make the meteor ring
My first one was with a mission " Break Enemy Shield 50 times" in the beginner section. the other one was probably crafting, but I can't remember. Or duplicating maybe...

Just customise it with mythril and you'll get the sword reload if you want a specific factor on it sometimes it has none reload and try again
