Bonita - Jamul via Proctor Valley & Spring Valley CCW Loop

Counter-Clockwise mixed-pavement loop from Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course in Bonita to Jamul via Proctor Valley Rd, returning via Rancho San Diego & Spring Valley (going completely around Mt San Miguel and Sweetwater Reservoir) in May 2022.
My friend was on a gravel bike with 38mm tires. I was on a road bike with 30mm front and 32mm rear tires and found Proctor Valley Rd thru the wildlife preserve a long series of bumpy deep sandpits. We planned to do and out-and-back route, but by the time we reached pavement again in Echo Valley we decided to take the bail out paved option return route to Rancho San Diego and Spring Valley instead (since Proctor Valley Rd was a really slow sand-surfing slug... and returning west on it would be going straight into the prevailing onshore wind the whole way).
We went north to Rancho San Diego rather than south to Otay Lakes Rd because Campo Rd (Hwy 94) has a consistent shoulder from the intersection of Maxfield Rd on west to RSF (tho you have to share it with a rumble strip). Whereas heading east from Maxfield the shoulder is mostly absent and the road too narrow and curvy for safe cycling.
