I LOVE Naked Honey, I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but Ive started gravitating to it daily, and the brighter yellow has helped me branch out in a wearable way!
$12 vs $49... considering most palettes add neutrals that we already have... I'm sticking to colour pop on this one. Don't get me wrong, I own all of the other Urban Decay Palettes, minus the Cherry one.... but I'm gonna pass on this one.
I love seeing your WHOLE face. I actually do love the Urban Decay palette. And I have a ton of colourpop ...So, I am so glad you did this. I also really love your looks today. Yellow is actually my fav !! You are so pretty. I also Would like to see another matte yellow
The Colour Pop side looks great 😍 I love yellows... can't see boring browns anymore... it's like every pallette has them. Colours Pop has neutral and brown pallettes too that combined are still cheaper than UD and give you more colours and variety.
I went into this 100% ready to go for the colourpop palette but after you explained the limitations of it and how the UD one is just more wearable, I actually agree 100%. Also I don’t think that highlight shade was too white at all! It looked gorgeous! :)
I did purchase the UD palette. When I went to Ulta to possibly purchase the Colourpop palette it was not even in the store. I am so glad that you did a comparison of both.I will stick with the UD.Thanks again Angela for the beautiful looks.Luv ya,enjoy your day!
Thank you so much for the comparison! You pretty much solidified my decision to go with the Urban Decay. Again, absolutely love your vids! Our coloration are similar, and your tutorials are so flattering for us dark haired, blue peepers, with fair skin types.
I got my UD honey palette last week, a few are saying it’s like others.. I actually don’t own any that have the same colour range in this palette, last few years have been about to mauve and rosey colours. So when this was released I was right on it. Cost AUD $83 but was worth every dollar!!! My naked 3 is still at its best even like 8 years later!
Great review!! I love both looks. I love my Uh-huh Honey Palette and always get compliments when I use it. I plan to buy the Naked Honey too though. Love your reviews!
Thank you so much for this comparison! I have the Uh HUH honey palette and I rarely reach for it, and I have been really wanting the UD palette because it is more accessible for every day use! Thank you, Angela! ❤🌻❤
Love your tutorials! They are so helpful! Love to see videos like this and also eye looks with palettes. Also IMO I like urban decay better because like you said you can create different looks with the urban decay one.
I have the Uh huh palette and will be getting the Naked Honey palette soon. I want them both. Edit: Love the video! Edit2: I see how UD's is a "naked" version. I like both looks a lot. UD is more naked day to day. I'd love to see a look using both together.
That shade Dandy! Wow! But the urban decay palette is a lot more wearable! I agree! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this video! Do more like these please! Love you Angela!!!
I collect all the monochrome colourpop palettes because I already have 10,000 browns and blacks and other colors in my collection, but not a wide variety of blues, greens, yellows, etc. I don't think they're meant to be standalone palettes to create an entire look with, but somehow you managed to do it! You're a shadow genius, you can make honey lemonade out of lemons lol!
I really do enjoy your videos! You’re so down to Earth! I actually went out and bought Olly vitamins because of one of your videos, they’re awesome! Thank you! My husband and I are totally hooked on them now!
I’m a pretty vanilla person and I am loving yellow eyeshadow! Way easier to wear everyday than reds, purples or pinks. I have the Colourpop palette already and plan to pick up the UD one. I can’t wait to use them together. The UD one looks like camel and it’s beautiful.
Hi Angela! I like these 2 shadow palettes but I prefer the Urban Decay palette 🎨 because of the number of shades....Once Again, you did a Wonderful eye makeup look 👀. I think both palettes 🎨 aren’t similar, Urban Decay tones are warmer than the ColorPop tones😉😃🤔Thanks for this good video.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍You’re Awesome!🤩😍🥰🙋🏼♀️🇨🇦
Definitely not comparable! I don't think that was CP's goal, however. They've been creating Monochrome palettes for over a year, beginning Spring '18 w/> Ooh La La- pink It's My Pleasure- purple Just My Luck- green Main Squeeze- red Blue Moon- blue Orange U Glad- orange Uh Huh Honey- yellow And just the other day> Lilac U A Lot- yup. lilac/lavender All eight are $12 9-pan mixed finish palettes♡♡♡ Can you tell I have 'em all?! They're fantastic for the colour-obsessed, like moi! Theyve done a fabulous job, I just wish they'd put out a Grayscale palette! Call it "In The Shadows", er something! Point being... You're GORGEOUS! I think you can rock ANY colour! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
Absolutely like the UD side better plus as you said you get more shades and looks from it and it’s better for traveling so you don’t have to pack more eyeshadow palettes to complement your look. Not to mention the formula of the naked palettes has improved so much, they’re super easy to blend and you can definitely tone up the shades by applying with fingers or adding setting spray to your brush
Angela, what mascara did you use in this video? Loved this comparison video! I've literally been praying for a video like this. I plan on purchasing both of these palettes - Honey for its neutrality and wearability, and Uh Huh Honey for it's incredible shimmers.
I got the sides right! I knew there's a brighter yellow in the CP one! Soon as i seen UD one i knew i didn't need it because it reminded me of the CP palette❤
For yellow and golden shades the Zoeva blanc palette is also awesome. The white in it is actually a very pale gold and for 15-20€ it's really, really good. Plus the packaging is beautiful.
Naked Honey is absolutely beautiful but, in my opinion, not comparable to Uh Huh Honey. The whole reason I bought the ColourPop palette was because it was yellow. I've created several beautiful looks with it that weren't too "out there". I'm a neutrals girl, so I've got the golds and bronzes in multiple palettes. I have a couple of UD Naked palettes (and, like, 5 ColourPop) but $50 for a carbon copy of all my already-owned palettes isn't worth it to me. The $12 ColourPop palette is a LOT of bang for your buck. Theyre all super pigmented and seriously gorgeous.
I agree that the ColourPop palette is great if one is looking for an affordable excuse to add a yellow monochromatic palette - to an existing collection. I see it as an acknowledgement that not every palette needs to be a complete look or an expensive investment. I'm ok with the neutrals and other shimmers that I have; I don't feel that I have to buy them again and again in every palette.
I thought at the beginning that the CP eye was the UD eye and I’m kind of glad that the yellow shimmer in the UD palette is not as bright as the CP shimmer. I thought that the UD would go on like the CP eye and I didn’t want it to either.
I have the uh huh palette, love it. I do wear the glitter on my eyes, have never had a problem, I use glitter glue. Would never buy the other palette, just looks like the run of the mill bronze neutral palettes we all have already.
Nice comparison! I still think the UD palette should have a matte yellow (or at least a mustard). I know that the Naked palettes are supposed to be wearable and basic, but we do have plenty of browns already...
The naked one have way more colors so its more interesting , you have hooded eyes right ? You are an inspiration , its so hard to find make up looks that fit my eyes
Naked Honey all the way. I like your left before you even said you were using Naked Honey. Why can’t you use the middle color in the Colour Pop pallet?
Miss E right I don't understand why colourpop still continues to keep putting those glitters which are not "eye safe" in their new releases especially after so many complaints. I just ordered the naked honey last night on Sephora not sure when it was released but I was able to order it from Sephora already 😊 hope you love it !!😊😊
Thanks so much for doing this video! I've actually wondered what the difference between them was and which one would be better. They are really different when you see them next to each other. Is it possible to use the soft glam palette to create the same kind of look as with the urban decay honey palette?
Guessed it right 😊 Awesome comparison video! I have the Naked Honey and love it. Probably won't be getting the Uh-huh honey. It's a bit too bright for me tbh. Question if you don't mind...do you have a concealer recommendation? I have normal (not oily or dry) lids but very hooded eyes. I just want something lightweight and crease-proof that works good for cut creases. I don't need it for under eye concealing or anything else. TIA 💕
The UD Honey palette is a palette that you have to appreciate in person, I believe. I wasn’t that impressed initially when I saw the pictures. I just love it in person. I have over forty eyeshadow palettes. This one does stand in my collection.
I think you were biased the whole time towards the colourpop and I like the right eye better. Its more of the look I'm looking for. Also, thank you for letting us know that middle shade in the Colourpop pallet is a no go.
Yes! I knew it was the colourpop one that was my favourite! Yay! I can’t stand the word “wearable” and that urban decay palette looks so dull and boring 🥱 all good eyeshadows are wearable 😁
I can see a brighter complexion with the Colourpop palette and a warmer complexion with the UD palette. Both stunning! I didn't purchase any of the single color-themed palettes from CP, not because I don't like the formula but because of the lack of other shades like midtones and mattes. Too many brands are saturating the industry with shades that are not eye-safe and I'm like 🤯
Get out of my head woman! Wow, that is similar. I have not purchased the Naked Honey yet. I want your thoughts. I am ready. . . I am guessing that Naked Honey is on your left eye which makes it your right eye from my view. Yes, the amount of palettes that Colourpop is spitting out is ridiculous. Why put a shade in a palette that I can't use?!! Who does that?! I thought of caramel with the Naked Honey palette.
Honey varies in color...colorless, yellows and browns...depending on the flower or region. The urban decay palette looks like actual real honey shades... while the colour pop palette looks like yellow cartoon honey shades 🐝 🍯
I'm confused about this as well. And that the warnings are usually in teeny tiny letters on the back and aren't visible or blend in to the packaging. It's hazardous to children and young adults who love makeup just as it is to adults. I think a warning label would be sufficient just to give notice.
I love the UD honey pallet, i think the colorpop was ment to be for those who want just a variation of yellow tones. You can do so much more with the UD honey so if you want more yellow then the CP would be a great addition not really a one or the other. They pair great with each other. 🌞🌞
Love the UD packaging, but we all have gold and brown eyeshadows a million times over, so it's not worth the price to me.
Totally reasonable
I couldn't agree more !!!!!
I personally have damn near all shadows a million times over, but this one is actually pretty and unique in person.
I think they’re so different too! UD Honey Palette is so beautiful. It’s good for everyday and the formula is so good!
حبيبتي انتي حكيتي الصح فعلا اربن دكي از فري بيوتفول كككود 😗😗😗😗😗😗😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🤗

same... I wear paper tiger daily for a no makeup crease shade lol
I think you can totally carry either look. You are gorgeous! Thanks for the comparison!
The oh oh honey in combination with the Warrior Pallet from Juvias Place is a great combination and alternative for the Urban Decay
Naked Honey all the way! 😁 so much more classy and wearable for a lot of people 😊
The Colour Pop side looks great 😍 I love yellows... can't see boring browns anymore... it's like every pallette has them. Colours Pop has neutral and brown pallettes too that combined are still cheaper than UD and give you more colours and variety.

I was right! The colors on the right just look better. I really like the Naked Honey palette. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this comparison! I have the Uh HUH honey palette and I rarely reach for it, and I have been really wanting the UD palette because it is more accessible for every day use! Thank you, Angela! ❤🌻❤
I have both they are very different.
Left is Colourpop, so much brighter but I do love the Naked Honey colours.
I have both palettes colourpop one is alot more yellow.
Colourpop for the win! I just ordered Uh Huh Honey. I’ll combine it with the UD Naked Reloaded and it will basically be the same thing.

I agree about UD being more wearable, but dammmn, that yellow from yellow pop is GORGEOUS.
I wore my ud honey pallette yesterday, and I am so impressed! I highly recommend
As someone who loves yellow I definitely prefer colorpop!💛
I always use a darker shade for the outer upper and lower corners from another palette like Brown Sugar
Same!
Good idea!!

Ooh La La- pink
It's My Pleasure- purple
Just My Luck- green
Main Squeeze- red
Blue Moon- blue
Orange U Glad- orange
Uh Huh Honey- yellow
And just the other day>
Lilac U A Lot- yup. lilac/lavender
All eight are $12 9-pan mixed finish palettes♡♡♡

❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
Yes!!! I’ve been wanting someone to do this!! 🙌💛
Woohoo I guessed right! I'm loving yellow at the moment but urban decay is slaying this one like 💛 love watching your videos x
Absolutely like the UD side better plus as you said you get more shades and looks from it and it’s better for traveling so you don’t have to pack more eyeshadow palettes to complement your look. I thought you did a fantastic job recreating this look. I love it!😍
Thank you for this comparison. I think the Honey palette is close to the gold palette from N Denona .
I prefer the honey palette on your eyes
I plan on getting both of them. 🍯🐝Thanks for the comparison.
Angela, what mascara did you use in this video? Loved this comparison video! I've literally been praying for a video like this. I plan on purchasing both of these palettes - Honey for its neutrality and wearability, and Uh Huh Honey for it's incredible shimmers.

I'm ok with the neutrals and other shimmers that I have; I don't feel that I have to buy them again and again in every palette.
In the begining of the video, I discover in which eye you use the two palettes. I gotta be honest and say that the UD eye is my favorite. 👌
pretty, bright look! thanks for the honest opinion
Thank you so much for doing this video. I absolutely love the honey pallet and want it so bad!
I like the Colour Pop eye better.😁
Thank you for this! It was super helpful!!!!
Lol we said whoa! at the same time when you put that Dandy shade on!
bees are yellow and honey is golden brown
I thought at the beginning that the CP eye was the UD eye and I’m kind of glad that the yellow shimmer in the UD palette is not as bright as the CP shimmer. I thought that the UD would go on like the CP eye and I didn’t want it to either.

I’m glad you can make the glitter work for you!
I have both uh hu honey and naked honey. They are very different. Colour pop one is more yellow. Urban decay palette is more brown amber and olive.
Nice comparison! I still think the UD palette should have a matte yellow (or at least a mustard). I know that the Naked palettes are supposed to be wearable and basic, but we do have plenty of browns already...
These pallets are amazing, little expensive but amazing!!!
❤️
I LOVE THE UD its very beautful thanks
The naked one have way more colors so its more interesting , you have hooded eyes right ? You are an inspiration , its so hard to find make up looks that fit my eyes
Love UD Honey Palette! Definitely more wearable shades. But I’m wondering why you can’t use the middle shade in the Colourpop palette...
You are my absolute favorite! How would you use the CP brown sugar with their yellow palette?
I wear bright yello shadows olmost everyday... BUT LOVE EM BOTH U KNOW!
Naked Honey all the way. I like your left before you even said you were using Naked Honey. Why can’t you use the middle color in the Colour Pop pallet?
Miss E the colourpop glitter in the middle is not "eye safe"
mck enna thank you! If that is the case then why is this still on the market? Oh well I never intended to buy. Just waiting on Naked Honey release!
Miss E right I don't understand why colourpop still continues to keep putting those glitters which are not "eye safe" in their new releases especially after so many complaints. I just ordered the naked honey last night on Sephora not sure when it was released but I was able to order it from Sephora already 😊 hope you love it !!😊😊
@@brooke449 tati's pallete glitters are also not eye safe, but angela + other consumers are keep on using & enjoying them
Now i want both of them
Still hoping for a collab Angela Bright Eye Shadow Pallette:)) We are patience, we can wait....Jenxoxo!
Thanks so much for doing this video! I've actually wondered what the difference between them was and which one would be better. They are really different when you see them next to each other.
Is it possible to use the soft glam palette to create the same kind of look as with the urban decay honey palette?
How does the UD Naked Honey palette play with the Reloaded palette? Can you use them together nicely? ❤️😁 That would be a good video. 😁 💜
Ooh good idea!
Awesome 👏 job thanks for your ideas
Guessed it right 😊 Awesome comparison video! I have the Naked Honey and love it. Probably won't be getting the Uh-huh honey. It's a bit too bright for me tbh.

UD is normally $45 on ulta and sephora. I've been eyeballing both the honey palette and naked reloaded. 😖
I think you were biased the whole time towards the colourpop and I like the right eye better. Its more of the look I'm looking for. Also, thank you for letting us know that middle shade in the Colourpop pallet is a no go.
I have a question have you already picked the winners for the giveaway
How does Naked Honey compare to the Soft Glam?
Yes! I knew it was the colourpop one that was my favourite! Yay! I can’t stand the word “wearable” and that urban decay palette looks so dull and boring 🥱 all good eyeshadows are wearable 😁
I find it crazy that the colourpop palette seems more pigmented than the urban decay...
I own both. Urban decay one is pigmented too.

Pretty!!!!
Good job!
Naked Honey on the right is my guess.
Left is colorpop cuz it's less Smoky. It had less dark browns (lol my left)
Colorpop for me.
Honey varies in color...colorless, yellows and browns...depending on the flower or region. The urban decay palette looks like actual real honey shades... while the colour pop palette looks like yellow cartoon honey shades 🐝 🍯
Tu fiel almiradora 🤔👏👏👏👏👍👍💜💜💜💜
The naked honey palette reminds me of the first naked palette urban decay came out with.
I thought the same thing too when I first saw honey but it’s totally different! Lots of different tones
It kinda says in the name “colourpop” they’re about colour not as much neutrals.
Why do they include a color on the color pop palette you can’t use on your eyes? Bet everyone still will use it.
Right?! It’s so dangerous if that glitter gets in your eye
I'm confused about this as well. And that the warnings are usually in teeny tiny letters on the back and aren't visible or blend in to the packaging. It's hazardous to children and young adults who love makeup just as it is to adults. I think a warning label would be sufficient just to give notice.
Why would they bother putting that middle shade in there if you can’t use it on your eyes? That’s so dumb
I liked the colourpop eye better. Hmm, go figure.
I love the UD honey pallet, i think the colorpop was ment to be for those who want just a variation of yellow tones. You can do so much more with the UD honey so if you want more yellow then the CP would be a great addition not really a one or the other. They pair great with each other. 🌞🌞
i love the colourpop palette
Hola Angela Saludos de México, me gusta mucho tu canal y me haces reír también 😅👉👀 (te picas el ojo) . 😃😘👋
You have some beautiful eyes, but I really would of like brown eyes for you but it's okay your beautiful either way.✌️
Uhhh sorry I can’t change my eye color
@@angelaabright :-) it's okay 👍
Beautiful girl 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
Ugh why have an eyeshadow in an eyeshadow palette if it’s not eye safe? That’s why I’ve stopped buying their palettes
cool video.
Hello???? Angela bright??? Can you hear me??? I fucking love you girl!!! Can you come to the UK??? 😍😍😍💎💎👄👄😍😍👄👄
