- Pressure Switch , common instrument in industrial applications, are used to activate an electrical circuit at a specific pressure or vaccum that would
turn on a motor, sound an alarm, deenergize a system to prevent a possible hazard.
In many applications, they serve as part of an Interlock with other electrical and
pneumatic devices to systematically shut down a process in the event of abnormal or dangerous pressure.
