I know you're a professional but gosh your video's are so beautiful, they're a pleasure to the eye and to what you hear. The opener on this video touched my heart, the beautiful scenery, the outdoors with plenty a space for everyone - even solitude - to enjoy. Done Oz only once but god I miss Australia, it's kind people, the everybody deserves a fair chance attitude, always someone to talk to at a watering hole, wherever. Everyone's mate before you know it. I remember the day arriving in Cairns, right need sun screen. First shop protection factor 50, na that's overkill. 2nd shop also only 50, 3rd one 50 too, only then I got the message. You're lucky with all that beautiful wild nature, here in Belgium you're never alone, density 360+ people/km2, coastal line 76 km, no mountains, hardly any lakes, parks yes, woods no. Again people everywhere. Same story more or less for the rest of western Europe, the Nordic countries excluded. You are never alone. 73, good DX Gust ON6KE
Thanks Gust. Yes, I've got hours of footage from shows and productions of worked on over the years, both here in VK and in Europe, which I'll continue to use in future videos. The Kimberly is a stunning part of Australia. I've been fortunate to have been there many times. It's only... oh 3000 km from home and I'm still in VK ;) Cairns and the Kimberly are worlds apart. @@VK3FS I really like the 'mate' thing. I remember a shot on Belgian television where a minister, it may have been Australia's Prime Minister was called mate by some people he was talking to somewhere, HA !!
Incredible video production, footage is on par with BBC nature documents. Content was also very helpful, I was able to get GPS sync to work with my PC.

@@ON6KE ah yes, there's a lot of that... note the inflection next time you hear it used. The word 'mate' works at both ends of the spectrum ;)
I recall setting up my FRG7 on a picnic table in that exact spot in 1977 :) 3IH
