"Safari"? Never heard of it, no such setting on my iphone.

Security experts warn that you shouldn't even tap on an "X" or "close" button if one of these scam alerts includes them. Clicking on these ads will usually send you to a phishing site

There is no ”virus” that can hurt your iPhone. All Safari pop-ups are fake and a form of phishing attempt. Just close the tab and you’re safe.
If you do the step of deleting documents from icloud, will I lose that info forever??

Yes. You have to call your mobile company and ask them to activate e sim again. So you have to be on wifi network all the time.

correct, viruses can hide in all sorts of data. like a picture or video you have saved on your phone which has meta data, and location tracking, sometimes a hidden txt file can be in it without you recognizing it. and attackers can pretend to be a app in the app store when you download it. with hidden backdoor access to the app within the application. "SDK" the list goes on. And it's even easier for them to access your icloud when they have access to your email or cell phone number. there's really no way of completed security when it comes to the interweb.
I don't use my iPhone much, matter of fact I have not had a cell since 1988, a flip phone. With a family sending me a 6s, it developed a "DOT" that when clicked has flashlight, Siri, home, control center, device, custom, notifications. It's weird.
I followed steps to transfer data but only allowed 96% of data. which was good. Any advice??.. Very good video!

If you reset your iPhone, it will erase all your data, including apps and games. However, if you back up your device to iCloud or your computer first, you can restore everything afterward. Have you already set up a backup?

It was the same design on the pop up as an *your phone is on 10 percent message * I panicked and accidentally klicked OK. I removed chrome in the same minute and then restarted my phone , and later on my settings . Am I good or should I be careful ?

To backup onto the Cloud or Computer then restore iOS to factory settings, then restore from backup. This is a load of Tosh. The iCloud/computer image of your phone will still have the dirty files’. When in doubt ask Apple or the phone maker’s help pages.
