    The additional lighted stand makes the total package. It almost makes me wise I bought the Grey Havens when it came out. Think they should have made the ship a separate piece to set on the water so that they could have given it more details and made it less bulky. It also looks like they're still having some problems keeping the aqua finish of the water off of other objects around it. Nice editing on the triplets in the beginning. Three can work faster than one. 🙂

    • @thecyberhobbit
      @thecyberhobbit  17 днів тому

      I was actually thinking something like that as well, I wish it was a bit more detailed but I'm still happy with it. The aqua color on the surrounding objects I just figured it was like water splashing on the things since there are waves, that being said maybe some white paint there could have sold it better. Appreciate you watching and the comment, I wish I had 2 more of me to help me finish the 20 of these Lighting displays 🤣

    That is impressive! 😮 Especially with that lightning, it gives to that feeling of endless horizon. Did you try real sunset/rise with that? :D
    Even Grey Havens doesn´t belong into my top favorite locations, this is wonderful.
    I would like to see big diorama of Hobbiton, not just Bag End (even it looks wonderfull), but Bag End with other houses, party field, mill with pond, hedges, fields, a hollow way. And if there was one narrow spot, from where you can watch it from a pedestrian point of view, some place like when Bilbo is running with that adventure contract to catch dwarves and runs through that passage.
    This form of diorama gives it fell like you are a bird (or in a plane :D) and watch it from that perspective and it feels realistic and I would like to have it with the Hobbiton. 😀

    • @thecyberhobbit
      @thecyberhobbit  15 днів тому +1

      @predathor558 9 днів тому

      @@thecyberhobbit Of course I know about your diorama of Hobbiton, It is absolutely awesome and I was impresed by result, but it is imposible to have that much details in such a big diorama, in compare to Weta´s dioramas, which are smaller and they have years of experience, big team and much higher budget. And that small detailes are important to have that feel "it is real scenery from a bird perspective".
      What would be awesome, if that your Grey Havens Light was able to create starry night sky and Northern lights (aurora borealis). :D
      Don´t know how...
      Starry night sky: maybe some Fiber optic lights? Or some cover with holes and some with more layers to make them paler.
      Northern lights (aurora borealis): some LEDs on top of the screen, but I am not sure if this was a part of Tolkien´s world :D
