I kinda wish this list didn't use characters that were playable in Tour and instead focused on characters that were never playable in Mario Kart at all like with E. Gadd. I think the Tour characters are very likely to come back.
I would love to see the likes of Prince Florian, Goomba, Poplin, Talking Flower, Grape (from Princess Peach Showtime), and Cappy as playable characters.
No love for Wario characters?
@@INFERNO95 Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Wario characters in the roster. However, their likeliness in making it in is rather slim. Compared to Donkey Kong and Yoshi which have had very good representation in Mario spinoffs, Warioware barely gets anything. The only times we've seen concrete references to Warioware in Mario proper is the Diamond City track in Mario Kart Arcade (which ends up kinda being in-name only with no characters from Warioware appearing there) and a brief mention in Wario's bio of Mario Party Star Rush saying that Wario is the president of Warioware Inc. And that's it (unless I'm missing something). I think Nintendo just prefers Warioware to be separate from the Mario branding. I mean heck, we've never even seen Warioware characters with 3D models outside of Smash Bros. And even then, those models aren't stylized after the Mario series.
