R&J STONE We Do It SPECIAL EXTENDED VIDEO

I seem to be the only person you youtube with this special re-edited version of R&J Stone's 1976 hit single 'We Do It'. I previously posted a graphic laden montage of this 1987 issued 12 inch recording. Here I've r-edited the original concept clip with the mp3 ex vinyl to create this post. 'We Do It' was my favourite song of 1976; it still delights and moves me all these decades later! It has such poignancy seeing the beautiful Joanne emoting and performing their song; with her life cut short just a few years after this hit. I wrote to Russell and he sent me a very humble and meaning-filled reply and I see that he has his own youtube channel where he has posted clips of R&J Stone and their 1976-7 singles. This song was their one and only entry in the British charts (#5) and it did even better here in Australia where it reached #3 and spent 10 weeks in the Top 10, becoming our 12th best selling single that year! It still speaks to the romantic in me!
