Just for the record, regardless of equipment, your teaching abilities compensate. I love the older videos where you can hear Clark, your husband, and kids in the background. Very calming and adds to the "you can do it" atmosphere when you're calmly stitching away while instructing us AND have all those things going on around you.
Thank you, Crystal, for all you do.
I can't find that video. Can you help me please?
Ok class grab your yarn & hook, a drink & lets get started… We have the best teacher!!!!
I think that would look amazing as a table runner and placemats ❤
Omg! Yessss!
Or a hat
I wonder how this stitch would look on a blanket edge. I feel like it would look amazing 😊
Great idea!
Totally agree
I was wondering the same thing…my question is would it take a lot more yarn than a different stitch to make a blanket?
I'm using this stitch with an ombre yarn then alternating with 1 color doing double crochets, it's a queen size blanket and I wanted different stitches for texture and interest. You're right, as a border this would be great, thx for sharing your idea! My only concern is, do you think it'd get hard to handle because of the bulk of the blanket? I'd need to add a border of sc, or should I do to 2 rows of sc before starting border? Thx for your help!
I love it! I can't believe how easy it is but how complex it looks! You are the best teacher.
The dark yarn is fine with the white background and your angle of the stitch makes it easy to follow 😊
Thanks Regina ❤️
That's magic! How do just 2 colors and a "simple" stitch make such a fabulous look?! Scarf here I come!
I would probably make it as my bathroom runner...✌️
Yes. A bath mat would be great.
Ooo nice idea!
Lawd Crystal, I cannot keep ip with all the cool new things im learning from you!!! But this came at a perfect time as i was looking into making a table runner so THANk You!
I can see a warm vest in chunky yarn out of this. And, maybe a doggie jacket.
I think I’m going to use this for a bath mat
What a simple stitch but so much beauty who would ever guess. Definitely something for the kitchen will be beautiful of course use cotton or wool. Thank you Crystal for your super tutorials. Blessings to you and your family.❤️🙏🧶
Crystal you don't have to apologize for the dark color cause you have enough light color under and behind your hands so you can see the stitches you make. This stitch is interesting.😊
One side looks like uncooked black-eyed peas. How cool !
Wow Crystal you always find such incredible patterns.
I suspect she creates a lot of them herself!
I like burgundy side best. It’s a pretty stitch.
Ugh I’m stuck making a black red and little white blanket that I’ve tried 3 different kinds of stitches…and now I see this….
If you want easy do a double crochet on each row across, and you could do every other row in back loops only just keep track of your stitch count.
Been there plenty of times.
Love it!!! Dish cloths and potholders! Thank you Crystal. I wonder what it would look like if one yarn was variegated.🤔 Guess I'll have to do it!
Wow Crystal that looks amazing 🥳💕
What a beautiful pattern! Now I’m ona mission to find the right colors to make this. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching us new stitches and techniques! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hi Crystal. Im putting aside all of my wips and making a blanket for my granddaugher with pink and purple with this. She will love it! Thank you.

I really like that. l think I will make a hot pad for my daughter, and if it works out and she likes it, l will try and make place mates.for her also...

Oh my gosh! This is beautiful! I cannot keep up with you! I started a sunflower afghan for my mom in the nursing home, and I have got to finish it! I keep sharing all these patterns to use later. I want to make the butterflies you just did this last week but have to wait! Thank you so much!!

Wow, that's an absolutely gorgeous stitch! Ty Crystal 😍😍😍
I’m going to make a bag. Thank you so much for showing us how to make it. When I first saw it I thought it was going to be hard to make. But you explained it perfectly. Your a great teacher. ❤️Grandma Brenda
I learned this stitch as the 'petite pois' (which is French for peas) and the bumps make a great dishcloth. Never thought of doing the two colors like this before!
You never cease to amaze me! I am a fan for life!!!
Oh, man.....what a great stitch for handbags/purses...worked in fine macrame cord. I will have to think on this one...your tutorials always send me off on a different tangent 😉. Thank you! 🤗
Crystal thank you! Your stitch tutorials are one of my favorite videos and now I want to make all the things lol
AWSOMSE!!!! I've made things with this stitch before. Very easy and fast. Never alternated color though. Hypnotic effect on the brain. I like it. Ha, going to try this in a blanket I'm going to crochet next in a few days. Just finishing one the blanket SOON. thanks for sharing your talent. Love to you and you're, family. Bless.

Oh my goodness I love your teachings. Thanks to you I’ve made three of your cute little dresses, blankets including the one with ruffles and I’m currently working on a shawl. You have taught me so much, I’m forever grateful. I cannot thank you enough.
I love this… this would make a wonderful scarf or even a really warm blanket for those cold evenings we have here in West Virginia❤️
What a great looking stitch!
I think that could be confusing in another teacher's hands, but you made it feel so easy-peasy! I didn't like it, I loved it. Especially the idea of making a set of hotpads and oven mits with it for a gift set.
Awesome stitch Miss Crystal

It's BEAUTIFUL. I MUST make this!!!
That’s freaking awesome!!
Hi Crystal, this is so cool…thank you for teaching us this stitch 😊🧶🩷
While I admit, dark colors can be hard to see, 1: Your close ups make it easy to see the stitches, 2: The stitch does look easy to follow, and 3: The dark color contrasts perfectly with the lighter color which definitely enhances the 3D effect.
Time to go thru my yarn and see what colors I can find. Excited to try this stitch. Thanks for showing us this pattern.
WOW CRYSTAL!! That's really cool!!

I'm going to make a table runner using this stitch

Pretty stitch.
Very unique!!
This one would make great heat pads for me.
This is so cool! Thx Crystal 🔮
Hmmm...wonder, if doing this in either a really soft bamboo or a 3 weight cotton in two colors, it would make a nice bandeau style top that you could add straps to and a skirt to make a sundress for kids? Cause I really love the way that it looks.
Hi Crystal. This is a very beautiful stitch. Could you please recommend a crochet stitch dictionary? You have brought me back to crochet after many years. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Trying this.thank you
