Yeah, iirc, I think Germany does a good job talking about it. In my classes, we focused on the war aspect, and not the way crimes aspect. The only one that really focused on the atrocities was an English class (we were reading Night, but I had already read it by myself beforehand).
@@HobieInTheBox here in Canada, we've had a teacher get her class taken from her because she used the "N" word...WHILE TALKING ABOUT SEGREGATION AND SLAVERY. She was using it in one of the most appropriate contexts for that word and was being very respectful. But some students got offended just by hearing the word and the poor teacher got treated like trash for doing her job. We can't just avoid certain vocabulary, especially in an academic context at a university level nonetheless. Because that's how we censor history and forget
The University (who should protect the right of speach in an academic context at all costs) never backed the teacher up but allowed her to teach the class later but they gave the choice to students to go back to her class or stick to their newly assigned teacher. I think we had another similar case with another university teacher but I don't remember. It makes me sad to see history get censored that way
To be fair, op had learned about ww2 and all, but most if the times these classes focus more on general sequence of events and not specifically on what the prisoners wore. So I think it could have less to do with censorship in this case since outfits beyond 'nazi uniforms is bad' are rarely talked about. Op also isn't American, if that helps.

The "cosplay" story is not as bad as the absolutely disrespectful behavior I saw from several college age girls at...either Dresden or Sachsenhausen. (This was over 20 years ago, so I forget which one it happened at. I know it was near Dresden city.) But they were laughing and giggling and singing "Ironic" by Alanis Morissette during the tour. They made me embarrassed as a fellow American, though I've wondered through the years if that was just a way to psychologically get through the tour. I mean, those places are _dark_. It got back to us because a friend of my buddy's dad worked on Project Bluebook, and he had to investigate. It's hard to run and laugh at the same time.
Okay between batman Falling out of the tree and r/slash impeccable Batman voice this was one of my absolute favorite videos that's been put out so far. Story made my morning
1st story reminds me of the monster of Boggy Creek (local legend, but there's a scary movie about it, too). One my in-laws is from that area, and worked with a guy who confessed that he and his cohorts made up that story to keep the cops from finding their moonshine still.
Ad the beginning of that foot story I started laughing uncontrollably. My brother can only wear a pair of socks once and you can smell them in the whole house. So I can feel OP's family on that one. At any moment my brother's at home mom will complain about his socks smelling so strong she's might die.
5:38 Predicting where this story goes, as someone who speaks sign language: OP has a crush on their deaf friend. The sign for "Mask" and "Kiss" are the same, so I'm guessing their friend signed "Mask" and they got way too excited way too fast? Edit: So I was wrong but that story was also HYSTERICAL. F to OP though
Friend: Are you going to wear that? OP: Yes. Gotta say that was stupid on both sides. That isn’t a friend giving you a full warning and OP should have asked why their clothes were being questioned.
Mh clothes are always questioned by ppl sometimes cuz i have a pretty odd or eclectic and changing style for clothes so i wouldnt have thought much abt it. If it was my friend theyd prolly have actually told me the legit reason why cuz they knw im dense. But if somehow they didnt i wouldnt have questioned it and said "yea its fucking cold :O" But 99% my friends wouldve been more specific like actual c Good friends if my clothes looked anywjere close to the TORTURED PRISONERS UNIFORM WHEN WE ARE GOING ONA. TOUR THERE :O i feel so bad for OP i at least knw the striped pajama uniforms cuz id seen it in an old movie i watched (not knwing it was abt auschwitz in the beginning) "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" Super sad ....
As someone who inherited their grandfather's feet. Gold Bond powder and Lysol work great for getting the smell out of shoes ( spray the Lysol than sprinkle the Gold Bond) and anything peppermint foot stuff help cut the smell if you cannot shower right away.
The heart problem story reminded me of a similar story I read on tumblr. So this couple was passionately hugging when the guy accidentally *ahem* changed lanes with no warning. This of course was quite painful and they stopped hugging immediately. The girl looked her partner in the eye and said "I'm going to faint". The guy brushed it off and tried to cuddle but the girl ended up fainting. When she came to she noticed her partner crying over her naked body because he assumed he killed her. And when the girl posted this to tumblr, someone had an asthma attack for the first time in years and had to be admitted into a hospital. So this guy almost killed 2 people with his parts
Oh he will tell everyone he almost killed op from hugging passionatly.. at least I know my bf would... cus he hasn't stopped telling the story of him " dislodging and causing me to pass a kidney stone from our rough and tumble." He tells the story as if it was a spartan Victory!
i listen to you while i draw my commissions! im so greatful for the amount of quality content you make. youre also so sweet, and so thoughtful. i love hearing about your life, your daughter, your wife, and dog. and when anyone asks what i listen to while i work i tell them all about you!
So the first story is basically batman, Woody, a witch, and a mummy get messed on booze and pot and then they get the town fucked up. Welp let's make that into a TV show
First story is LEGEND!!! I was cracking up so badly I needed to do the peepee dance to the restroom. AHAHAHAHA! That's ONE way to create a creepy pasta.
Anything short of "What you are wearing looks like you're dressing up for this tour because the shirt looks similar to what they were forced to wear" is not a warning. "Are you really going to wear that?" Is far too vague
9:47 I was adopted from birth myself and honestly....I never had that void. The only frustration I have is not knowing my heritage (I've been very curious about it lately) and possible health concerns to look out for. I'd never reach out to my carrier as i call her. She's a stranger to me as I am to her. And Idk the circumstances behind how she wound up pregnant with me. So I am not about to seek her out.
Regarding foot odor: a little bit of apple cider vinegar in a tub of warm water. Soak feet until water gets cold. It basically balances the pH back to how it should be. I used to have terribly smelly feet. I used to have to do this to help. (I grew out of the stank)
“Y'know, my python boot was too tight I couldn't get it off last night A week went by, an' now it's July I finally got that sucker off an' my girl-friend cry "You got stinkfoot Stinkfoot, darlin' Your stinken foot puts a hurt on my nose! Stinkfoot, stinkfoot I ain't lyin' Can you rinse it off, d'you suppose?" ~FZ As always, thanks, Frank.
For the last story I think I know what shirt op is wearing. A few years back, Zara got into hot water because of a stripped shirt with a star on the chest. I mean this was big news when it happened and Zara pulled the shirt and apologized for it. I wonder if that was that shirt to which how did they not know?
I've never heard this before! So it is possible. But I checked the comments for the actual post and op said it was just a regular striped shirt that the stripe pattern happened to match, so there was no star on it. Op also isn't American, so even if it was big news here, he may not have even heard that from his country.
@@tucagwathiel3380 I'm pretty sure this was international news as Zara is not an American company and Zara pulled the shirt from everywhere. But yeah surprised this kid has never seen this before. I learned this in school and I'm a bit older than op. I'm a bit concerned about what is taught in schools
@@neffyg35 It could be but I also never heard this news either. It's probably that he just isn't interested in fashion enough to listen to news about it. If he's more into watching tv shows and movies than news. He made mention that history classes tended to wrap the government history into it as well, so they did talk about ww2 and the government politics in that time and facts, but details like what particular uniforms prisoners wore weren't covered. Also, depending on their location, they may focus on ww2 in their own country/continent. WW2, for example, had spread to Africa as well and wasn't solely based in Europe. I'd doubt the clothes of Auschwitz would be mentioned if they were talking about the push back in Africa, for example. For my own classes, the focus was more on the tattoos and their meanings and the struggles and sequence of events that led to it rather than prison clothes.
@@tucagwathiel3380 well it wasn't fashion news, I saw it on the mainstream news outlet and online newspapers. Yeah when I was in school they did talk about the tattoos, the teeth pulling and the prison uniform. I also remember watching Schindler's list, the diary of Anne Frank and other media when I was the holocaust chapter of world history. Shrugs
@@neffyg35 I wasn't meaning fashion magazines but usually that kind of news is listed in a segment before heavy political news. For example, his parents may only turn the news on in the evening for news with Anderson Cooper in politics or Fox news depending on political leaning rather than other segments put on the channels. It probably was on major news networks, but several years is still long enough to forget about it. But either way, it wasn't this shirt you're talking about. It was just a regular striped shirt. Apparently it wasn't quite so similar that other guests or the tour guide were noticing what he was wearing and looking at him. Just more of a personal embarrassment for him.
The stinky feet one reminds me of the time my dad huffed paint with his friends when him and my mom were dating and him having to go to the hospital, he's perfectly fine now and we never let him live it down.
As a kid I had a pretty big imagination and I made up a ghost story once and convinced multiple people that it was real. I even had friends ghost hunting in the areas a claimed had a spirit. We were impressionable kids and "claims" by them of "seeing" these specters fortified it. This wasn't a malicious prank just a kid making up stories and I never told them the truth because I didn't want them to feel stupid or gullible for believing me. It never got to urban legend status but is a fun memory of friends chasing ghosts.
I live in Poland. No one would feel offended at a shirt like that. It's just a shirt. It's much better than making cute Instagram photos on the rails or wearing a party outfit. Which does happen.
Forget the other stories, the first one was the best. And this Kiddies is how the Justice League came together. sitting around in a graveyard smoking pot. XD

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that batman put his empties in his backpack
10/10 Batman voice there rSlash!
The adoption story and the other redditer's comment made me sob. Both in hurt and also in happiness. I hope op's father is holding up okay.
Nothing helps me get through morning sickness like RSlash!
💖❤🧡💛💚💙💜
@Tommy Gaming 🅥 now listen here,
Congrats
@Tommy Gaming 🅥 Thank you, now I can make cheese balls.
@@astoron8398 thank you!
“I know most of you are listening to this while doing other chores”. Me: currently emptying out a giant round bale hay net. Yup.
But if somehow they didnt i wouldnt have questioned it and said "yea its fucking cold :O"
But 99% my friends wouldve been more specific like actual c
Good friends if my clothes looked anywjere close to the TORTURED PRISONERS UNIFORM WHEN WE ARE GOING ONA. TOUR THERE :O
i feel so bad for OP i at least knw the striped pajama uniforms cuz id seen it in an old movie i watched (not knwing it was abt auschwitz in the beginning)
"The Boy in the Striped Pajamas"
Super sad ....
"batman revealed that he had obtained some weed" had me fucking dying
As someone who inherited their grandfather's feet. Gold Bond powder and Lysol work great for getting the smell out of shoes ( spray the Lysol than sprinkle the Gold Bond) and anything peppermint foot stuff help cut the smell if you cannot shower right away.
That adoption story made me tear up but oml that feet smelling story turned them into laughter tears
I am crying so hard at the first story…. I lost it when Batman fell out of the tree and I still haven’t recovered 😂😂😂😂😂😂
OMG 😱🤣
Dude, your doctor can't just pull in other people without freaking asking you. That's some bullshit right there. I'm so mad on OPs behalf.
We need more funny story’s like these. They are gold 😂
Dude that first story is just f*cking brilliant XD I LOVE stories like that, its so funny to learn the REAL reason behind scary stories and stuff.
The first story is my favorite story of Reddit
As someone who is also under the influence of cannabis, the first story absolutely destroyed me! And so did your batman impression
Watching this at midnight and was not expecting that first story to be that funny. I am in bed laughing like a maniac rn 😂😂🤣🤣
Smelled my feet railing went yeet and now I feel like sheet 😂😂😂😂 mans is a poet
Bruh that mistaking lipreading story was so wholesome broo. Literally the first time I audibly aww'd in months
Hey, tip for speaking German: “W” is pronounced with a “V” noise
When you did the Batman voice I almost died laughing.
Oh he will tell everyone he almost killed op from hugging passionatly.. at least I know my bf would... cus he hasn't stopped telling the story of him " dislodging and causing me to pass a kidney stone from our rough and tumble." He tells the story as if it was a spartan Victory!
The best story, I’d try to be in there as a “ghost”
Best Reddit story ever
2:34 ROLLING 😂😂
i listen to you while i draw my commissions! im so greatful for the amount of quality content you make. youre also so sweet, and so thoughtful. i love hearing about your life, your daughter, your wife, and dog. and when anyone asks what i listen to while i work i tell them all about you!
Holy shit 🤣🤣 the batman voice just about made me pee my pants! LMAO
I f*ck up everyday lol
So the first story is basically batman, Woody, a witch, and a mummy get messed on booze and pot and then they get the town fucked up. Welp let's make that into a TV show
That first one had be legit laughing 😁
First story is LEGEND!!! I was cracking up so badly I needed to do the peepee dance to the restroom. AHAHAHAHA! That's ONE way to create a creepy pasta.
Imagine listening to a Raycon earbuds ad with you Raycon earbuds
Whoever sees this have a good day
Ty
U 2
Thank u
ty you too!
Thanks and have a good day also
Anything short of "What you are wearing looks like you're dressing up for this tour because the shirt looks similar to what they were forced to wear" is not a warning. "Are you really going to wear that?" Is far too vague
Hahaha I'm crying 😂😂😂 batman voice: guys I left my backpack there"
9:47 I was adopted from birth myself and honestly....I never had that void.
I snorted/laughed so hard when Batman fell out of the tree. 😂
Regarding foot odor: a little bit of apple cider vinegar in a tub of warm water. Soak feet until water gets cold.
It basically balances the pH back to how it should be. I used to have terribly smelly feet. I used to have to do this to help. (I grew out of the stank)
The first story sounds like a really fun friend group
“Y'know, my python boot was too tight
I couldn't get it off last night
A week went by, an' now it's July
I finally got that sucker off an' my girl-friend cry
"You got stinkfoot
Stinkfoot, darlin'
Your stinken foot puts a hurt on my nose!
Stinkfoot, stinkfoot
I ain't lyin'
Can you rinse it off, d'you suppose?"
~FZ
As always, thanks, Frank.
Ahh I look forward to the TIFU vids. They make me laugh so hard.
Glad I'm not the only one finding the "dead silence" line funny.
17:05
rshalsh be like: "house switch"
2:31 - This part killed me 🤣🤣🤣
I pass out when the passionate hugging is good.
TIFU is my favorite rSlash series
The stinky feet one reminds me of the time my dad huffed paint with his friends when him and my mom were dating and him having to go to the hospital, he's perfectly fine now and we never let him live it down.
Ohhhh, that first story...made me laugh...I needed that!
1:53 he he wasn't the ghost they deserve but he was the ghost they had 😂
As a kid I had a pretty big imagination and I made up a ghost story once and convinced multiple people that it was real. I even had friends ghost hunting in the areas a claimed had a spirit. We were impressionable kids and "claims" by them of "seeing" these specters fortified it. This wasn't a malicious prank just a kid making up stories and I never told them the truth because I didn't want them to feel stupid or gullible for believing me. It never got to urban legend status but is a fun memory of friends chasing ghosts.
I can't stop laughing at your joke about the guy telling people he almost killed a woman with his skills in the bedroom😂
"I visited Auschwitz and accidentally cosplayed as a prisoner"
_BRUH_ 😂😂
“ONLY 25 FEET” ?????? 😳😳😳
….. and the Fruit Basket is a nice idea .. so long as there’s no cheese in it!! 😂
I'm sorry, I died of laughing thinking someone can die by smelling their feet😆
Idk how r/ can read these without dying of laughter the foot story made me cry laughing 😂
The love the TLDR for the foot story
I live in Poland. No one would feel offended at a shirt like that. It's just a shirt. It's much better than making cute Instagram photos on the rails or wearing a party outfit. Which does happen.
The extra adopted story I love that one
It's all fun and games to be a ghost and scaring everybody until you see the actual ghost LOL
Passionately hugging, 😂🤣😂🤣🤣 you mean BOINKING.
Story one had me crying😂 freaking Batman
I find it glorious that you. You dear rSlash, had became apart of my every day routine the past 2- almost 3 years
Ikr?! Can't start the day without him
I got my fiancee into these amazing work of art videos too. 😀
Forget the other stories, the first one was the best. And this Kiddies is how the Justice League came together. sitting around in a graveyard smoking pot. XD
The man almost died From spelling his feet hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😖
