I’ve been watching your channel for about 2 years. My wife understands I live a little bit vicariously through you. She appreciates the work-life balance I try to keep… and though I can’t get off grid as often as you do she understands my need to disconnect from time to time. I’m a father of four daughters, grandfather of 10, retired military photographer, and still work 50-hour weeks. It’s all about carving out and dedicating a portion of time for what means the most to us and our families. Thank you for all you do.
Watching this series in critical condition recovering from a brain bleed--finding that you and a few others on here mean more than I thought. I'm leaving the big city and going back home to the countryside of Buffalo, NY. I am lucky I have good friends up there with land that I can rehab-not rehab from drugs or drinking, but from life. I will use your video templets as a learning module for me to become one with nature (all the way down to the exact stuff you make your morning coffee with). When I was a child I loved nature club and shared that with a couple friends; those two friends I am still fortunate to know and talk to, 40 years later. I was tarnished by this world and then decades went by---it's time to go home. Thank you Jeremy for being a motivator and potentially life saver! I think about you so much during the days when I find myself wanting to get lazy and/or cut corners--I say, how would Jeremy approach this, it reminds me of my grandfather's work ethic. And I feel better 100% of the time doing it 100% correct and thorough the first time.
Hello Jeremy. I totally enjoyed this camping video. I can't go camping where I live due to the crime but looking at your videos makes me feel as if I am camping. Ten thumbs up. Waiting to see your next video.
Hey lil boomer and mr LoneWolf..you just keep doing what you love the most..and obviously its been outdoors with your partner lil boomer..this is who you are mr LoneWolf we love the part 1 and 2 and thank you always for being so good to lil boomer..this is the reason why many people subscribe to your channel..much love and support ❤❤❤🐶💯💯💯👍👍👍🥰🤩😍
Boomer is quite clever and athletic, he's fairy light and can bounce around the trails no problem .. I think he checks on you to make sure you're ok .. best buddies on adventures 😊
I've watched your channel from the start and I agree totally sometimes finding a home work life balance is hard the mixture of emotions guilt for loving what you are doing and finding joy in all aspects is difficult just do what you feel is right trust your gut 😊
You walk in the shoes of John Muir (“The mountains are calling and I must go”), Henry David Thoreau (“Wildness is the preservation of the world”) and Edward Abbey(“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.”) Through your amazing videos, you walk for us all. Namaste.
Boomer was having a blast running around, your going through what most ppl do at a certain age we realize how much work has taken over our life n want to concentrate more on family/home life it's a journey n I happy your finding yourself n are doing what's needed to feel more balanced n content stay safe BLESSED BE ♥️
Boomer is just fine, he is well trained and he never goes far off. He is a little sweet dog and he is just fine, a real good camping companion and is so devoted to you, a dog at camp is just fine and your loyal compainion, he is a very high spirited fellow. A great dog.i really enjoy watching him scamper around he does keep focused on you
I haven’t been subscribed to your channel for long, but it is great to see you open up and discuss your “behind the scenes/personal life” It makes me appreciate just how much work, time and commitment goes in to each and every video you produce. Thank you for your continuous excellent content you produce. Superb 👏👏
Thanks for sharing. I sensed the shift with the last few videos. Glad you’re aware of it. Your mental health is priority as you need to stay healthy mentally and physically. You also have others depending on you as well. ❤
That’s good Jeremy, that you are regrouping and getting that self care for yourself. We all need that to be a better/healthier person for yourself and others around you. To me that’s one of the keys to living your best life❤🙌🏾
Nice to see you talking about life. Easy to get caught up in life and all the variables. Good to take time and gain focus again stay on the right track
Items brought and rarely used: on my AT thruhike, I never used my knife. I actually sent it home and replaced it with a lightweight small blade. Extra cordage was something I always carry and refuse to drop, because it is so versatile. Survival kit and first aid kit, but again, I would never leave those behind. In Walasee Gap, GA, I dropped 20 pounds of food, 20 pounds of gear, and gained hiking poles. In Fontana Dam, VA, I dropped a sleeping bag and regretted it for a couple weeks.
Heyy Jeremy and Boomer, wow it's really windy I enjoyed listening to the rain on the tent so tranquil, nice listening to you talk about life and finding your way back,it's always good having time to yourself, stay safe
Glad to hear you stopped and prioritize, you were starting to look drained & overwhelmed and I could see why, you had too much on your plate. Hope all is well!
You’re absolutely right Jeremy, when you are your own boss it gets very easy to mix job and home life together and get so congested that you can’t remember who you are anymore. Keeping these things separated is a must so you can be your best at both because your family and your career are worth it. Ayeeee! From the Louiziana man 😅
Always have a silky saw in my bag for anything overnight and a fire starter. That tent design appears to be great and spacious. Don't have a use for one right now but's saved in the gear bookmarks folder!
I used to have a 1ft. griddle for hamburgers and eggs mostly, and used the flip side as a cutting board. I would leave to go hiking with them frozen wrapped in a brown paper bag. Life has stages we pass thru, and sometimes we have to blend the passage, or separate them. I think of them as boxes with different contents, and I like an empty box, where I can bask in nothingness, just chill within my own mind. You will never be one day younger, however, you can prolong youth by staying busy physically, but at some point age happens so the more you do now, the more memories you will have, and probably the better financed your senior years will be, assuming that you are putting money back. I didn't care for your second channel too much until you started the homestead to give it meaning so now I enjoy them both equally as I am sure others do.
Nice part 2 Jeremy, thank you! Thanks also for some insight. I've wondered how you jump between all that's involved with Lone Wolf 902, then going to Destination Wilderness, then working on your homestead, then having family time... So much and only 24 hours in each day to get to everything! I'm really glad you're putting in some hard stops as you move from one very busy part of your life to another. Take it easy and enjoy every minute of your very blessed life! Hi to Kendra and Orion! Peace out Jeremy! Christian K, NYS.
Embracing the elements like a true lone wolf! 🌧️🏕️ Your adventurous spirit in camping through heavy rain and strong wind is inspiring - a true testament to resilience and a love for the great outdoors. 👏 #WildernessWarrior
You always pick a good location to shoot the videos. It's not easy balancing work and home life, but you seem to do it well. Sometimes you have to do a mental reset in order to be happy. As always, i enjoy all your videos. 💓
Just home from hammock camping with my brother here in Ireland love your videos watch them all the time wish you all the best and take time for yourself gud luck
I knew this site was familiar, how time fly's. As a former dog handler, I watch Baby Boomer, he is the 'Comical' side to your posts when you take him along. As you're making coffee he steps out, looks around & stretches, as if to say, "so you've started without me" & then wanders off! 😅 I love the do's/don'ts/why's/why nots in your posts, your educational tips to camping are great. Please keep up the these fantastic posts, Best to the Family, but Stay Safe, until the next one, Peace Out Bro.😎
This is my favorite location you go to. The very first video I watched was you in the green hot tent where you woke up covered almost completely in snow! I still go back and watch it over again. Do another snow camp there when you get the chance!
I appreciate your openness with your viewers. Some of us have been watching you for years. I think the key is finding a good balance. Don't let the stress ruin the joy of what you are trying to accomplish. Breath in the beauty of all the blessings you have. While you are taking time to shift your focus inward, make sure Kendra gets that time for herself as well. She has to be able to keep herself grounded in who she is being a new Mom. Keep your Family safe and always be eachothers safe place to fall. Boomer is the best❤ 11:24
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing with us on your personal journey. You are an amazing and talented person. Boomer is a wonderful dog. God Bless
Thanks for stating what some of your gear is. I’m slowly building up my camping supplies and you have some great ideas. And very good advice for work / life separation. 👍
Hey Jeremy, love the videos.. i normally bring my folding shovel it come with some nice extras i don’t needed all the time but i bring it with me.. great job appreciate content.. stay safe
You had fun doing what you must love and it's income! Can't beat it! I wouldn't have changed much of anything on what you had in your pack. I usually take too much stuff on my outings to the woods.
I think you picked the perfect location. Very peaceful, quiet and free. Free from everyone and just in nature and the element That was a crazy night. A lot of rain and wind! And of course boomer running around snooping things out. Great vid!!
It's really cool that you've shaped your channel into a kaleidoscope of ever changing landscapes. Have you ever thought of expanding to discovering other countries?
Your right on regarding the saw. If I don’t take an ax I will take a hatchet and as always, take a knife. Always consider the elements and environment when building a fire, too much wind can increase the fire hazard and rain will put a stopper on any camp fire. Thank you for this wonderful video, I now know what tent I am going to purchase. Thank you for testing out all the gear for us I know if there was a problem with the tent you would have said something. Best regards.
8:26 Trangia set is my all time selection... I love my trangia very much.. even at home or in caravan. or in a sailing boat- espacially in winter camp. inside tent. no harm.
Brother, I love ❤️ your comments on Boomer!! 😂Some people just don’t understand how doggos can make it 🐺 😊. Thanks brother for another great trip and thanks for all that you do for us ❤
I enjoyed watching the adventure! Listening to you talk about separating work from fun and everything else. I imagine it gets kinda hectic and confusing and stressful. I've always kinda took my time with balancing work and recreation, trying not to overload myself. But I also know that you can't always do that. Things happen, life happens. But I believe that as long as you don't get burned out with it, it will be alright. But if you do get burned out, just take a break from it all, get away from it for a time and regroup.
1 thing people don't bring up that you should have always is; shovel, and extra tarp. You want an extra tarp for ground cloth or for extra rain cover but you might not always use it. Its also nice to have extra wool blanket too even if you have a good sleeping bag. Wool works really nice. I like to have lights with a low watt high battery duration system so you can leave them on all night if you want and they will still be working in the morning.
You ask what I bring but don't always need. Yes of course the first aid. But since I camp out of my van I have room for more than one method of cooking. But, usually only use the Coleman single burner. Or a campfire for hotdogs because that's how you're supposed to cook hot dogs, lol. Since you brought this up I'm going to make an effort to use my other methods on the next trip this Winter
Hey this was really great! Love your little buddy there! I wish my little one was into camping but she’s really awesome either way of course! I guess no bear issues there? That’s cool! That tent looked badass! Thanks again! NQU
I really like it when you talk a lot and love seeing you interact with Boomer! The video where you went out on the frozen lake was awesome, not that I'm encouraging that behavior!
I have a twig stove that is always in my pack that I've had since last winter and haven't used it in any of my videos yet. I plan on using this weekend in a hammock tent video.
Thank you for a nothing great video really enjoyed it very much i really like that tent looks great and relaxing the camp site was great yes the winter is coming i like seeing you and Boomer the trooper together camping and having a great time i take my dog camping and fishing with me see you on your next great video really enjoyed it very much stay safe and take care 👍✌️
Hey Jeremy & Boomer! Hope you guys are doing great! Bro I always enjoy your videos, no matter what kind of camp trip you do, it's always a pleasure and so entertaining. I've been following your channel since when you were going to camp with only a couple gear items and you were almost 20k followers only. It's awesome to see how much you and your channel have grown and it gets better and better everyday. Still waiting for you to come to the Argentinian Patagonia haha. I'm sure you'd love it. Peace & love J!
Hi lone wolf 🐺 and boomer another good video yes it's easy to lose track on other things but it always come full circle at least you enjoy what you can do we also love your videos all the best to all your family 👪 Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧
SuzyAnn. I look forward to seeing you change Boomer in and out of his outfits for the day and night, he is such a cute trusting little buddy 🐕wonder if you could sell little BOOMER Puppy dolls with tiny coats and sweaters? 🤔That would be the best😊🐕
When I go to my camp, my clothes bag always has my compass, whistle, spare batteries and a mini torch to light a fire. Whistle is much better than yelling. Mine is a fox 40 pealess.
Hey guy! I’ve been watching you for a while now and I just wanted you to know that my brother has a dog just your size and he was at Forest Park in Portland, Or. Anyway he was throwing a ball for him to chase but he was the only person at this park. He heard rustling in the nearby brush and saw nothing. He heard it one more time and this time stared at where the noise came from. All at once he saw a movement and couldn’t believe it. A mountain lion was stalking his dog. My brother screamed at the cat and called his dog from the field. My brother knows his wildlife as do I and it really shook him up. He never told authorities because he didn’t want fish and game killing him. I Know he never goes to that park anymore when there’s nobody else around. I just thought about this when you mentioned you did not worry about Boomer. Stay safe and keep the videos coming.
Staying busy is fulfilling. But everyone needs a time to relax and unwind. You seem to have it together. Also, whatever you did to "train" Boomer has worked. He definitely adds to the fun of your adventures. Keep doing what you enjoy.
Enjoyable and relaxing video. It takes quite a bit to juggle life, keep things balanced, maintain focus, yet be chill enough to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
Hello Wolf and Boomer. Very interesting video, thank you. I call you Wolf because that's what I knew you as when I first started following you, but it was nice to actually learn something about you. We all need to get back to our roots sometime, maybe find a new perspective, and to re focus. So I understood what you were saying, and it was nice to hear a little about you as you, and not just camper or builder. I also appreciate it's not just a case of filming and posting, that's it's so much more than that. I'm a crafter, but I'm the same with having things I like and I have to have even if it's not used much. I call them my back ups. Thank you for a very interesting video, looking forward to the next one. Stay safe 😊😊
Jeremy why don’t you add the Trangia kettle to that kit? They make one for the 27 and the 25. Would make it much easier to pour the water into your coffee filter. Thanks for another great video.
Honestly love what you do man. Keep home at home and work away from home. That is what I strive for too. Anyway keep doing what you do. People who frequent your channel will respect that. I sure do. I also love following your other channel too because you are all awesome. As always be safe and keep the content coming 🤘🙂 Edit: I got to have my klarus cl2 lighting because they double as a battery bank too also my foldable saw and my axe.
I really like the design with the ridge pole. This looks like the design of the old Eureka Timberline with poles continuing to the ground in front and back, providing three arches for snow loading. I am curious, would you consider laying a tarp over this tent to provide a third layer of insulation?

I’ve been watching your channel for about 2 years. My wife understands I live a little bit vicariously through you. She appreciates the work-life balance I try to keep… and though I can’t get off grid as often as you do she understands my need to disconnect from time to time. I’m a father of four daughters, grandfather of 10, retired military photographer, and still work 50-hour weeks. It’s all about carving out and dedicating a portion of time for what means the most to us and our families. Thank you for all you do.
It's good to be able to separate and prioritize the things you do in your life! Good for you and the family ❤
Yes! Thank you!

Love Boomer in his cute sweatshirt
Thanks for the insights Jeremy!! Very interesting, I think I lost my way long time ago, have to get back. Great video as always.
Welcome back!
Finding that balance is so critical to compensate our body and mind. Lovely spot to revisit again but more special now with Boomer ❤
Absolutely
Bring on that cold weather & the hot tent!!! Cannot wait!!

Nice one. I dig the talks. That location does look really relaxing.
I really like it when you talk a lot and love seeing you interact with Boomer! The video where you went out on the frozen lake was awesome, not that I'm encouraging that behavior!
That is a very nice tent looks great. Little boomer looks so content, that tent is awesome. 🎉🎉🎉😊
It really is!
You make my day when I get to watch a new Episode Jeremy, Thank You.
I like solo camping because I feel rejuvenated even with the work evolved also it’s definitely a confidence booster. Thumbs up 👍
Totally agree!
Loved this Jeremy both safe😩😂😂😂💖💖💖I knew I recognised the spot boomer is so very special 💖🐶you both are 😢😢😢👍🏻💖I just worry sorry xxxxx
I’m glad to see you’ve found your balance. Always watch your content. Always will😊.
I appreciate that!
Great one, Wolfie!
Nice work as usual. You're the man.
I appreciate that!
I have a twig stove that is always in my pack that I've had since last winter and haven't used it in any of my videos yet. I plan on using this weekend in a hammock tent video.
That is awesome!

Love camping with you you’re really down to earth
Always good to watch, you definitely deserve all you receive in royalties from UTUBE. Peter Lindop UK.

So true
SuzyAnn.
I look forward to seeing you change Boomer in and out of his outfits for the day and night, he is such a cute trusting little buddy 🐕wonder if you could sell little BOOMER Puppy dolls with tiny coats and sweaters? 🤔That would be the best😊🐕
Nice tent. Magnificent dog
Thanks 👍
Boomer all dressed & protected for the cold!!
Cool video & tent.
When I go to my camp, my clothes bag always has my compass, whistle, spare batteries and a mini torch to light a fire. Whistle is much better than yelling. Mine is a fox 40 pealess.
Fantastic videos really enjoy watching them.
Glad you like them!
Know he never goes to that park anymore when there’s nobody else around.
Sweet Setup 😊
Glad you like it!
Enjoyable and relaxing video. It takes quite a bit to juggle life, keep things balanced, maintain focus, yet be chill enough to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
Very relaxing watching your content! Thank you for sharing…
My pleasure 😊
Very enjoyable video.
Awesome little dog.
Thank you very much!

🤝 Hello. Good video friend. I like 🌧️💨 🏕️. Happy survival 👋
Honestly love what you do man. Keep home at home and work away from home. That is what I strive for too. Anyway keep doing what you do. People who frequent your channel will respect that. I sure do. I also love following your other channel too because you are all awesome. As always be safe and keep the content coming 🤘🙂
Edit: I got to have my klarus cl2 lighting because they double as a battery bank too also my foldable saw and my axe.
Another awesome video 🤌 thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
Dryer lint for starting fires . Always have a small bag of that in the bus
I really like the design with the ridge pole. This looks like the design of the old Eureka Timberline with poles continuing to the ground in front and back, providing three arches for snow loading. I am curious, would you consider laying a tarp over this tent to provide a third layer of insulation?
