The land owner was walking around the property with no proper PPE on. That should be a write up or a verbal warning :)

I own 5 acres of land in Texas, and just learned that my warranty deed may be in question, regarding the mineral rights. I'd like to tell the drilling company and energy company to take a hike, and leave my land alone.

I'd like to meet these people AND ask them why? Send the money to me and you'll never see land's broken.

You’ll learn the hard way when your children come to you and ask why you ruined their planet.
We have eleven years of planning before true hardships are unavoidable. But, people remain the same: ignorant, greedy, unfeeling. There are those of us trying to make things better, but we are drowned out by the money that distracts people like toy keys do for a baby.
You will learn the hard way when the land under your feet is deemed unlivable and you will only have yourselves to blame.

My ancestors own mineral rights all over northern West Virginia. This well drilling boom has been around before. We are not rich. Antero is bunch of crooks. They prey on any owner mineral, or land. I don't have the money or I would Prove trespassing on our mineral assets and shut there wells off. Aint like the old days. GREED rules the day.

Do like the corporations do when someone wants what they have. They have to pay royalties or a percentage for it Thats the best way.

@@getvnews1918 I am aware of this tactic the gas company promises to pay homeowners for mineral rights while giving up their mineral rights for the land...seen it done 10 years ago in Arlington...and they failed to make the payments as promised. Sorry, but you should know a scam when you hear one.

"Jobs?" Look at the "white pickups' " license plates, and the "Man Camps" full of (crime and) expensive RV's from out of state. I live here. When the gas is gone, but the POISON remains in the ground, air, and water? (and our, and our descendants', bodies? FORGET growing food, or eating the surviving fish and deer.)
