When you really think about it, Domino Squad are the most important Clone Squad in all of Star Wars, not just the Clone Wars. When you really think about it, they were, from the grave, instrumental in the Rebellion's war against the Empire.
One of the best qualities of this show is the development of the clones. Whereas in the movies they're basically cannon fodder, here they flesh then out, even though they're clones they are their own individuals as Domino Squad proves as well as Rex and Cody from the last episode
Stormtroopers were canon fodder. The Clones have always been awesome since Episode II. Hell in Episode III you should pay good attention to the battle on Utapau in the background of the Kenobi vs Grievous fight, Clones have been badass since day one. Clone Wars just made them even better.
In case no one told you guys this already, the clones are not Stormtroopers. Stormtroopers are comprised of regular people who enlisted or were conscripted into the imperial army. Clone Troopers are..well, as the name suggests are entirely made up of Clones serving under the Republic, also known as the best boys in the galaxy by the majority of fans :D They are practically main characters in this show and just as importan as Ahsoka, Anakin or Obi Wan.
Also wanted to add to this in case others ask why Clones were phased out, it's just costs. Cloning and training experienced soldiers were costly esp to manage an empire throughout the galaxy. When you have a vast galaxy of disposable poor people willing to enlist for minor benefits, you end up having the solution to govern . You needed less soldiers and more peacekeeper yes men spread out throughout the galaxy, like a real dictatorship or monarchy.

An important thing to keep in mind when watching Clone Wars is that it's still a kids' show. Because as time goes on and it gets more and more mature, it'll become easy to forget that.
9:45 FYI Clones aren't Stormtroopers. By the time of the Empire's Reign and the original trilogy majority of the Empire was comprised mainly of trained civilians either voluntarily or conscripted or from the Empire's Cadet Academy. The Clones Program was discontinued early on in the Empire's establishment and your average Stormtrooper was your average joe.
Clones are not Stormtroopers. That was established well before the prequels where made. While it is true, some clones receive cybernetic/genetic enhancements to counteract the aging effects to continue to serve the Empire. The clone army itself was phased out and replaced by conscripts loyal to their New Empire.
Well stormtroopers by the time the empire fell were almost entirely regular people. It was too expensive to keep making clones so they started recruiting humans after the empires formation. Some clone commanders were used to train these recruits, but the clone facilities were more or less shut down, or at least the production of these kind of clones were. I think one of the only legions to contain a large number of clones was the 501st legion, also called Vader's fist I say I think because a lot got retconned and changed after it was sold, so there's differences between legends and such. so I could be wrong in regards to the current canon Experts are welcome to chime in
All the clones have accelerated aging. This means that by the time the Empire falls basically all the clones are either dead or phased-out. Making clones was expensive but that’s not the reason the Empire phased them out. It’s kind of a spoiler so I’m not saying anything else. Unfortunately, all the lore from Star Wars: Battlefront II was resigned to legends when Disney bought Star Wars. This means that stuff like the 501st being pure clones and called “Vader’s Fist” is now untrue in canon.
There was also the political/military danger of having a facility that could, on its own, pump out millions of functioning soldiers in as little as six months, all indoctrinated to obey whomever their makers designate as their lawful leader, embracing any cause etc. Anyone wanting to overthrow the emperor would be taking advantage of such a facility while the emperor himself no longer needs it since he can just draft people from across the galaxies. So it had to go.
Shaak Ti is one of my favorite Jedi…not only is she a togruta (one of my favorite species) but she’s genuinely compassionate and wants to see the best in Domino Squad, and it’s nice hearing her calm voice…I don’t think she ever raises her voice in any of her appearances
Outside of Rex (and as of the "secret" season, Cody) Domino has best shown the human side of the war like no other... and considering they're clones makes the message all the more poignant. The republic, as most most republics tend to become without careful oversight and high morality is corrupt as hell. The capital planet itself has "the upper layers" and the "lower layers" and the "dark". Basically if you'd like to live, the first couple lower layers is as far as you want to go for any particular reason.
The Jedi we see in this episode Shaak Ti has had multiple deaths in the Star Wars world, two of them are deleted scenes of Revenge of the Sith where one of them is that she is killed by General Grievous and the other is that she is killed by Anakin. The other is in a video game called force unleashed where she dies. But I think her official Death is when Anakin kills her during order 66.
One thing that should be mentioned: Clones are NOT Stormtroopers. While the clones would execute Order 66, they would eventually be phased out of the military after the formation of the empire for many reasons, which get covered in the Bad Batch series. There are a few exceptions to this, like how many highly skilled clones were made into Death Troopers, the ones you see in Rogue One and Andor. As for the Bad Batch show, I highly recommend it as well as the Andor shows, but I would not recommend watching it until you finish the Clone Wars, as many things get spoiled. Domino squad is Echo, heavy, Fives, Droidbait, and Cutup. commanded by Sarge. Droidbait was shot by commando droids, Cutup eaten by a native predator, Heavy sacrificed himself by manually blowing a bomb, fives was messed up by the control chip and went berserk and was shot by fox on Courasant. only Echo survived and was altered into a half cyborg joining the black ops Bad Batch. Fives and Echo did become ARC troopers aka the advanced recon specialists. Rex was trained as an ARC but is in command of a unit. not the best use of skills but they did their job.
Yay the start of Domino Squad. A keystone squad of clones that are focussed on throughout the Clone wars. You'll fall in love with every member

I think this was a pretty good Start for the Domino Squad, expect to see them again and be given another reason for their Squad Name.
