I take this flight every year and it’s always in the passenger seat so it’s cool to see it from the perspective of the pilot

Every time I watch your videos it always fills me with renewed inspiration and motivation to become a pilot. Currently finishing my last year of university, then after I will begin my pilot journey. My dream is to one day fly the 777 as well, not for Air France though, I'm aiming for Air Canada or Emirates, but who knows what the future holds, maybe I'll end up at Air France, only time will tell. Best job in the world, I bet! I loved flying for work.. especially when I got enough miles to upgrade to first class. It's amazing how much you hear the wind noise over the engines when you get that far forward.. I bet y'all barely hear the engines up there.

Merci c'est gentil ! C'est variable, mais je dirais entre 3 et 5, tout dépend de la longueur des vols et le temps que l'on reste en escale !
Cela représente (environ) entre 12 et 18 jours d'absence !

It seems odd that the EGT and oil pressure are on different displays. It seems like I usually see those together..

Pourquoi FLAPS 5 plutôt que le FLAPS 15 habituel sur -300er ?
Merci ! C'était la config opti du jour ! Flaps 5 arrive souvent quand l'avion est léger et que la piste est longue
Et à l'inverse on peut aller jusqu'à Flaps 20 si la piste est courte et/ou que l'avion est lourd !

Les sous titres sont en anglais pour qu'un maximum de personnes puisse comprendre. Nous nous tutoyons tous, le commandant dit vous car nous sommes deux copilotes sur ce vol 😉
