When Steven slid down the pole/artery thingy from the Crystal Heart, it went through Rose's room, which we could see because it was a soft pink color and Steven commented "Hey, this isn't so bad-" before going through a dark tunnel and ending up in the basement/Burning Room, which we can only surmise is also Garnet's room. This mean that Pearl's room is on top, since Steven fell down into Amethyst's room, which then leads down to Rose's room, then down to Garnet's. Spoiler: There's a room for Sardonyx as well, only when she exists. It ceases to be when Garnet and Pearl aren't fused. This implies that each Fusion gets their own room in the Temple, but we've never actually gotten proof that this happens.
3:15 IDK if anybody recognized the voice singing here, but it's Olivia Olson, aka Marceline the Vampire Queen from Adventure Time! (Also Vanessa Doofenschmirtz from Phineas and Ferb.) Rebecca Sugar worked on Adventure Time as a storyboard artist and music writer before creating SU, so she likely got Olivia to sing the "CD version" of "Haven't You Noticed? (I'm a Star)" that Sadie is listening to and singing along with. It's also the soundtrack version included with the Steven Universe Vol. 1 OST album.
This is it, gals; the start of quite possibly the best story arc in the show (and a character arc that's in the top 5) Arguably both could be said to have started as soon as Peridot shows up in this season, but I think it's more appropriate to consider their commencement here.
I'm gonna point out that the lyrics to "Haven't You Noticed? (I'm a Star)" are multi-layered hints towards Rose's character that play out in all the future seasons... and I mean that there's more layers than you could possibly imagine. Once you finish the show and revisit the lyrics like I have, you'll facepalm and realize how much sense the song makes now.
The entire SHOW has to do with mother issues bc of Steven and Rose! I was NOT prepared to cry as much as I did on my first viewing, and I'm doing it again even HARDER on my current rewatch because I know ALL the trauma now... wahhhhh
