The best podcast I've ever seen. I went to Farrna with your brother Timmy. Left school just before junior cert after my mam died. Going through a tough time at the moment trynna get and stay sober. Two of ye are an inspiration to me. God bless and happiness to ye all. Class podcast
Thanks Tom, there are a few great meetings around at the moment. Penny Dinners Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at 7, Tommy and his buddies got that meeting started and it's a strong on
This has been one of the best podcasts I have seen on You Tube . One day at a time I have been sober over 30 years . The honesty and commitment to living sober is not easy but you have demonstrated in such a powerful way how it can be done. I intend on listening to the rest of your podcasts and look forward to future podcasts. Thank you so much .
Sometimes I think everyone went down with the Titanic, then I realise a lot of people survived..... I get the same feeling after watching the podcast... So many people have survived drink, drugs, ect and go on to help others.
Very good point made regarding trauma. Its followed by addiction as a way to reduce the pain of what has happened in life. Self medicating can sometimes keep people alive, until rock bottom is reached and recovery is only then possible. Great podcast as always lads!
Another profound podcast that educates and resonates on several levels. Dr. Sindy Joyce would be a great guest, her journey and success through education is inspiring
I’m coming to terms with the fact I’m an addict. The only good part about getting pissed is the getting pissed, the camaraderie with your mates. Being bolloxed is grim, having no money is grim, Feeling shit for days is shit, the depression is shit. Yet I keep going back
Late comer to your podcasts simply blown away by both of your stories James and Timmy and your bravery in sharing them so honestly which will definitely help others. This was a fantastic podcast and Tadhg spoke so honestly about his issues, there was a great raport between the three of ye a super guest and two natural and empathetic interviewers, also saw Tadhgs show In One Eye and out the Other myself, and it was brilliant. Keep the podcasts coming I am in awe of you both and thank you for putting together the TwoNorries you are both doing a brilliant job, I look forward to catching up on the rest of your podcasts :)
Another fantastic podcast lads, big up to Tadhg for such an insight into addiction & recovery and looking forward to working my way through all of the podcasts. Keep it going lads.
He is right what he said about functioning alcoholics sometimes finding it more difficult. in my case I was seemingly still doing well in many aspects of my life and alcohol gradually destroyed my life
hi Tadhg, great sharing thank you. I don't know if anyone mentioned this to you but the resemblance to you of a spiritual teacher called Adyashanti is very striking. maybe you should check him out🤗
Hi there, I’ve just tuned in and listened to this one, came across it accidentally as was looking up the subject of alcoholism. Ye have handled such a big subject there. it’s a real shit what it does to some people. and for others it’s ok. I’m just upset cause it caused such huge damage for me. and It’s very good, so I’d like to listen to some more. Sorry for question, wondering are you guys Limerick or cork? I’m not great at accents. More importantly, what vehicle are your podcasts on, are they all held here on UA-cam, or are there more elsewhere ? thanks again.

Great podcast 👍
Good point about being accepted “into the gang” by drinking. It can make you feel like you belong , or even cool. And not just when you’re young.
Arts were hard hit.
Don’t agree that they were the hardest hit.
