    So nice to see a recent video from you. Great presentation and clear delivery of information. And love the old school Toyota!

    One component of interest to me would be a loop for saw that tears away at 200lbs of force...I think every climber has had that one time when their saw got stuck in the cut on the way down.

      Interesting idea to put that on the harness rather than a tear-a-way lanyard.

    Thanks for the presentation. Is there nowhere rated for more than 5 kg to easily attach a chainsaw lanyard?
    How does adjusting rise in just two steps work out in reality? I've only ever used harnesses where that adjustment is tightening or loosening a strap, so I'd be concerned about what to do if neither of those two steps are comfortable. However, it is nice that it's set and forget.

      Hey there, the slots on the webbing could be used to support more weight, though it's in the ANSI to not hang more than 10lb on the harness.

    do you think this is better then the sequoia?

      Better is hard to say, it's really a matter of preference once you move into harnesses of this quality.

    What's the idea behind having a flat bridge as opposed to a rope bridge?

    • @WesSpurTreeEquipment
      @WesSpurTreeEquipment  2 роки тому +1

      The webbing bridges are going to be stiffer, and have a different feel to rope. I'll ask if there are additional considerations.

      Additional considerations would be different standards for European safety orgs, and less worry about failure due to improper tying of knots.

    Sorry, but personally I think it's a step back from the treemotion...hard "Ds" all the way!
