This was a big help, was just a little confused with the directions on the package. I couldn't understand why after it was hung that I was supposed to take it down and rehang. You made it all very clear. Thank you
So smart. This is a lifesaver for frames that I recently broke. I accidentally ripped off the hangers from the frames and I didn't really want to repurchase them. Since they need to be removed anyway to do this with the command strips, my frames are back in the game!!! Wooohoooo! Thanks for the idea. Wouldn't have thought of this myself.
How useful! I'm going to be putting valuable (to us) family photos on a few walls. Measuring correctly so that I can drive in a nail is more complicated, especially since I will likely move or add to the photos. So over-shooting the weight on the Command Strips is a great idea. Super video! And listen to none of these nay-sayers. You did a good job for those of us who needed some extra help. I wasn't looking for perfection on everything. You did good.
The tip about the level will be helpful! Will go buy one today! I tried to put up a picture per their instructions, removing it for the hour after first positioning . I could not press hard enough to get the Velcro to reconnect to reattach the picture. What a waste! Will not remove after putting up the first time. Your video was super helpful.
Great explanation how to apply command strips. What if I change my mind in a year and decide I don’t want it there. What solution is best to remove the glued tape on the wall?
What is the maximum weight you can buy using these strips? I have a heavy mirror probably 30-50 lb? If the strips won’t work for something that heavy what do you suggest to use without nails?
I hang my canvas paintings all the time and it works 😊 I also do tend to oversize the weight requirements to be on the safer side, just like the vlogger himself
Hey! I've been surfing about these commanding strips tutorials and yours has a really clear and informative explanation. Just want to confirm tho, so it's like the velcro meets velcro yes? Great video by the way!
Good instructions friend. Just curious, what is the purpose of running alcohol? To clean the area or to prevent paint peeling off if we ever remove the strip from wall? Thanks
I really want to get some of these for some photo frames, but I'm nervous about what will happen to my poorly painted walls after I take the strip down.
I get that...I will say that I have taken ~10 off the wall, and that I only had one that caused some damage. The paint on my walls was right at 1 year old, so it was on the newer side. Good luck with whatever you pick! If you are ok with putting small holes in your wall you could try a product called “Monkey Hooks”.
I tried to fix one that I hung due to it not being level, and of course it just ripped the whole thing off the wall, including the paint. These work great for actually holding the objects on the wall, but when you need to adjust or take them down if you're moving, prepare for destruction to the paint! I suppose that's better than a hole from a nail in the wall.
The adhesive really does fail if it gets to hot. I'm in Canada and this year I hung a newly acquired degree on my wall using 3M adhesive. Once summer came along the adhesive buckled and my degree fell to the floor.
Good video but not removing the picture when it is first hung is a mistake. In my experience, getting the wall mounted half secured is key. The whole "put it up and take it down" is just a way to get the wall half in the correct position. The essential part is to press the wall half for at least 30 seconds, then leave it alone for an hour or two. It makes a huge difference. Not only is the wall half getting time to bond completely, so is the artwork half. Put it up too quickly and it will not be securely bonded on either surface.
"Rule breaker"?! It's crucial to take the frame back off for one hour to allow all strips to fully bond without weight on them. If you don't follow steps 5 and 6 of the instructions you will, at some time, find that the adhesive will FAIL and it will be user error, not the fault of the product. Also why did you not use the NARROW Hanging Strips for your narrow-edged frame?
You might try a drywall hook product like this one: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07XKXZMCQ/ref=psdcmw_511352_t2_B001KVMNPI That product will make you put a hole into your wall though to use it. I know there is also a Command Strip Hook product you might could try, but I have never used them: www.amazon.com/Command-Damage-Free-Small-without-Packaging/dp/B0751TRS6Y/ref=asc_df_B0751TRS6Y/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=216553642992&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8778922982457992818&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1014964&hvtargid=pla-370444613160&psc=1 I hope this helps...good luck!
If your going to instruct people on how to use 3M command strips for picture hanging why would you leave out a major part of the instructions. When you put the frame up and got it straight. YOU HAVE TO LEAVE FOR A HOUR before you put the frame back on the wall. And he says it " I can't be bothered" yes good teaching....
This is so much better than their one-minute video with ukulele music. They should be paying you!
This was a big help, was just a little confused with the directions on the package. I couldn't understand why after it was hung that I was supposed to take it down and rehang. You made it all very clear. Thank you
The directions are kind of confusing I agree! ...plus hard to read even w magnifying glasses 🤓!
Thank u for explaining how to use these! It helped so much👍🏻💘💯
Great help....thank you 😊
It helps the Command tape to "cure" - I don't know the word, but so it adheres to the wall more securely.
Loved your humor, smile and very clear instructions!!! Thanks.

Great idea for hanging trio canvas wall art. Command strips and a level. I believe I can do that!
Great, informative video. Love your watercolor wall art!! AVENGERS---ASSEMBLE!!

I don’t use this particular command strip anymore. Too difficult and wrecks the wall when you try to remove. Use a different type.
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. With your help I hung my daughter's mirror. Works great!
Thank you so much ! Clear, concise and humorous!
Best instructional video out there. Thanks!
Thank you , a very helpful video ....I will definitely be using these strips from now on ..🇨🇦
Clear and concise with added tips, thank you~
Holy moly that was a lovely video. Your mic was also really something. It sounded like you were right beside me😊
You seem like a great guy! Thanks for the content
Thanks! I really appreciate this video.
Can you use these on ceramic tile?
Great explanation how to apply command strips. What if I change my mind in a year and decide I don’t want it there. What solution is best to remove the glued tape on the wall?
Could these be used to make a collage with posters on a wall
I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD LAUGH AT A 3M stripe video. “Poorly manicured hands”.”30 seconds, think about life”😭
Great video, thank you! :)
Do command strips work on wallpaper?
Thank u definitely needed that 😅
Please can you tell me how many pieces in the package
I like you! Well done!
Thanks-trying to follow the little tiny pictures on the back of the package is ridiculous and now my ceramic til is hanging!!!
can it safely be used on gloss posters?
Does it work on non-woven wallpaper?
Thank You for Tutorial 😃
But unless I missed something at the end, you didn't say or show how to get the part on the wall off. Does it just peel off?
What is the maximum weight you can buy using these strips? I have a heavy mirror probably 30-50 lb? If the strips won’t work for something that heavy what do you suggest to use without nails?
Lol should link that Spider-Man thing because it’s awesome
I think we found it at a Hobby Lobby…but that was awhile ago. Thanks for your comment!
Will these scrips work for canvas paintings
I hang my canvas paintings all the time and it works 😊 I also do tend to oversize the weight requirements to be on the safer side, just like the vlogger himself
If you have questions about Command Strips, I "command" you to ask them...it's a joke...but if you have questions ask away!
Hey! I've been surfing about these commanding strips tutorials and yours has a really clear and informative explanation. Just want to confirm tho, so it's like the velcro meets velcro yes? Great video by the way!
@@nadirap486 Yes that's right! The velcro sides will match up with each other!
Very helpful-thanks!
Can I use it on gypsum board? Drywall?
I have used them in the past for painted gypsum board/drywall, and they worked well! You should be good to go!
Good video..keep it up
very well done.
Good instructions friend. Just curious, what is the purpose of running alcohol? To clean the area or to prevent paint peeling off if we ever remove the strip from wall? Thanks
Thanks for watching! It is to make sure the wall is clean before trying to get the strips to stick to it.
The alcohol would remove any oils from the wall. Oils would cause the strips to eventually slip.
I really want to get some of these for some photo frames, but I'm nervous about what will happen to my poorly painted walls after I take the strip down.

Hehe i have same concern, scared/intimidated to try.
Ok, good demo, but are they removable? Explain, please.

I’m sorry that happened to you…I’ve not had an experience like that, but I’m sure that left an impression.
I had the same experience in India
Legit! Thank u bro!
Thanks for the tips! Side note, I think you’d do a decent Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier cosplay
Thanks! I appreciate it!
That's a great watercolor(?) poster. Did you paint that yourself?
Thank you 👍

Displate magnets are expensive and kinda suck. I'm going to order these strips asap.
If you remove the frame won't the strips come off the wall?
i otally "Marvel" your Spiderman frame! where did you get it from? let me know
Thanks! It was a gift, but I believe they got it from “Hobby Lobby”.
how do you uninstall command strips??
Thank you
You are the best, thanks for your help
Can I use on wallpaper
I've never tried it, but I don't think I would. I know that wallpaper can begin to "run" if it is torn.
I don't like how the command strip shows through the glass. I wonder if they come narrower for such items.
He should have cut them narrower
Thankyoy❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 picture 📸 📷 🖼 😊
I think I’ll try that

I don't think you know what "quid pro quo" means.... other than that, good video.
Many one are super fast for me to see what is going on
You have double backing you peeled I have single? Weird
🙏🏽❤️
Mine don't sick together
thanku
So when the package says 8 is actually 4 because you need to fold them ? Wow....
Bro you have been cheated by 4.7k people no one of them commented
thank you really dont have time ...its fast
Damn the reviews on Amazon are horrible
This video so me so much trouble.
Mine always came off don't know why
Maybe you forgot to remove the tape
Wish my wife would have seen this before her unsuccessful attempt to hang a picture.
why would anyone use these ? seems like a pain in the ass... nails, drywall mud, & paint .. 20x easier & no risk of the stupid thing falling ...
You are just so darned cute.
I don’t want to remove my hardware.

Dude, make next time your face full screen. Ppl no need to see what you are doing in the tutorial! Thx
Stop waffling and show us how
useless, he doesn't show how to, just talk, talk, talk...
OMG unnecessary LONG
I’m not sure the video actually helped
You talk too much.
is rubbing alcohol necessary if i am trying to hang a canvas picture frame 24x18
