OMG thank you !… my daughter cannot understand why I find it so complicated !… She uses them all the time I just don’t understand how not to have that tab sticking out above my pictures 🤔
The hooks are the easy ones .. why doesn’t someone show us how to best hang a picture !? Every one so far has been how to hang the hook … how can I remove the strips when I want to take the picture down unless I have the tabs sticking out from the edge of the frame ? … obviously don’t want to see the tab
I followed the instruction back of the box but fell down 2 times wasting the strip but after watching ur video I was successful in installing the hock which is study in holding items
Hi you do explain very clearly but it’s also important that you mention the surface should be cleaned prior with something like rubbing alcohol or methylated spirits, not other types of cleaners which might leave a slippery residue, plus wait for the cleaning substance to dry thoroughly before placing on the back of the hook.
Great video. I would warn anyone - these things work but small - but sure, percentage fail over time. I would not hang anything that if the hook fails and the hung object hits the ground - is irreplaceable, has high value, great sentimental value, etc.
Yes, I had one to fail after a year or two although I followed the directions. Don't hang anything irreplaceable on them. They are very handy for most things, though.
Excellent directions for someone with ADHD because what was most helpful was the visual part of it especially even though you didn't say it in words I was able to see that I had placed the back on the wrong spot of sticky side I needed to leave the tab part just underneath it at the bottom and then after I stick it on the wall and put the hook on top of it it'll actually cover that tab up whereas The way I was doing it was having it placed on the sticker way too high if that makes any sense and therefore it would have never lined up as nicely as yours did and should and I learned so by watching you do things for me visually step-by-step kind of a hands on person definitely not a reader so read in directions Doesn't work for me the video again was excellent for me as an adult with ADHD nice work! Thanks again!
This was Very helpful, Thank You. I'd like to add that you really don't have to take the back plate off of the back of the hook. This extra step might make this simple task more difficult for a person who has no idea how to use them. I am not trying to be rude. I am Just saying this to let others know that this step is not a "must do step" but was most likely done for a better view of what was being explained. When you shorten the steps others understand things better.Especially for those who have trouble reading, listening 👂🏻 or simply following directions. I, however, found it easy to follow along with. But if I had a learning disability or If American English wasn't my first language then it might be a little more difficult.
Thank you sir for this video it helps me to understand I never new how to install it but kept thinking for more then year.😅 But when u want to remove it doesn't sticky part stay on the wall ?how do u remove that ? I think u need new sticky thing to place it on another space.
Had to look it up as the instructions to the shower piece to hold the shampoo bottles was misplaced!!! Thank goodness! It saved me a trip to the store. 😂
The actual 3m UA-cam page has the guy showing to have the tab up, so you actually see it. Your way of doing it makes more sense and you don’t see the tab sticking out, thank you so almost installed it wrong
Perfect, I am to lazy to read instructions. I love tutorial videos for almost everything. Thank you so much. Just make sure to clean the wall with alcohol
Would you use command strips to hang a 11 pound 33x28 mirror? I will be doing it by myself so looking for something easy? The mirror has D rings on the back bur rather remove them and just use the strips. Would that be wrong to do?
@Michael Hackney I was told to not to use them for a mirror. Asked about the 3M Claws for 45lbs and was told they would work. Haven’t had time to hang the mirror, kind of hesitate because I’m by myself.
what about the hooks that don’t have a window in the middle? I can’t get them to slide back down onto the holder once the holder is attached to the wall.
Thank you, so simple, yet complicated on the package instructions lol.

Uh-oh somebody did't clean their area with alcohol first! OOOoooo!

Thank you, clear concise and direct! 👏🏻👍🏻

Thank you! I wish I would have watched this before I wasted two strips. The instructions on the box were confusing.
Thank you man, the instructions really looked confusing
Do you have to use rubbing alcohol like the instructions say??
Thank you, short and straight to the point.
Great video this 78 year old grabbed the concept from the package but just to make sure I watched the video and really appreciate the help.
Great job! Thank you for sharing.
Great video.

Your instructions were exactly what I needed. I’d like to add that all surfaces receiving ‘sticky’ should first be wiped clean with rubbing alcohol.

Excellent! I was going to use its it on my basement wall. It's cinderblock too. Now I know it will stick.
Thanks for this. So is the point of the non-adhesive tab hanging down for when you want to remove the hook from the wall?
Thank you!! That was so easy to understand. I am assembly challenged, LOL, but you made it so easy.
