Yoshimitsu is so varied design wise, anybody can say any Yoshi is their favorite and it would be reasonable (Except maybe Tekken 1). My favorite is Soul Calibur 5, cause of the mask and hellfire theme.
What I love the most about Yoshimitsu is that you can see how he started as a clear human being in weird bodysuits in the first two Tekkens, which also carried over to SoulCalibur, his most human look being Tekken 2's 1P, we can even see his hair, but after 3 they went ALL OUT. Many people think he's a demon or alien or robot because of how he looks and sounds but he is, in fact, an actual human being in weird body suits. Only his sword-wielding arm is mechanical, a gift from Dr. Bosconovitch. Shout-out to Yoshimitsu and Athena Asamiya, the two fighting game characters to feature a completely different look every single game, possibly the two most redesigned fighting game characters ever!
