Sounds pretty cool. It's nice when sirens miss their cancellation signals, my first thunderbolt ended up missing it's cancellation and went for 3 minutes in alert. Also, interesting way they mounted that
I know. I literally drove by it yesterday to take pictures. Also this is Michigan, we don’t get “tropical storms”. The siren was destroyed by a straightline wind event that affected much of the US-12 corridor between coldwater and Lenawee county.
OWS Crazy1 It appears to be that brown thing next to the siren actually. You can see the air intake...if not then my guess is that it’s in the building itself.
Fire Alarms & sirens Bud, look. The airflow wouldn’t affect the chopper level. It would affect how loud the siren is. Since the thunderbolt is a powerful siren, it needs a blower to extend the sound out more. So, decreasing the air amount (simulating your “air leak”)wouldn’t cause the thunderbolt to actually have a drop in pitch. In fact, it would make the pitch higher, instead of lower, because of the air pressure to the chopper when the blower is running. There, proved my point. Are we done? Cool
How fucking dumb are you? These arent made of copper! They're made of metal! Only the oldest of bolts had copper on the chopper caps, just get off UA-cam for the better of everyone's lives
@@michaelboccino5251 um, thunderbolts are pretty damn audible. And btw, learn how to fucking type, you make yourself sound like your an adult but your typing makes you look 3, so get the fuck off UA-cam and let your dad use his account, ya little 5 year old
I like how the air pipe is actually coming through the roof. Nice siren find.
Rest in peace thunderbolt
RIP Jonesville Thunderbolt 1003. A storm recently took the roof off the building, siren & all.
Yeah, and now they installed the federal signal equinox siren 😔
That is one awesome sounding Thunderbolt 1003
Man, I love them old t-bolts

My first bolt also missed cancellation tones, it's always fun when sirens do!
@@iowansirenrecordings2454 coincidence? *I THINK NOT!!!* Lol cool
I always like when it looks dead, but then springs to life
Nice video! Love the roof mount on this siren and the drone shot!
This siren was blown off the roof in a tropical storm on 8/11/21.

@@WarningSirensOfMichiana Oh Ok, I was told it was a tropical storm, thanks for the correction.
I like that way they mounted the thunderbolt and nice video
That Sounds Fucking Awesome!
Dat 1003 tho! Had to watch this in 4k on my tv. Looks great! 📺👍
good ol thunderbolt siren
Where have you been for the past 4 days? Also is the blower submerged in the freaking roof?
That’s a pretty neat mount!
This view makes how loud is a siren
Dat mounting tho. Nice catch!
That is a damn cool mount
Worthy drone shot 👌
By the storm
Sucha creepy sound i wanna see one in person so bad
Is the blower inside of the building?

firefreak57 yea, thats half the blower i think.
Ok
That's not the blower...lmao. It's inside the building.
That brow thing is an access door or a manhole cover for a man to climb on the roof.
Bout' damn time!
Is the blower in the building
Yes
Awesome Video!
its changing pitch because it has a 4 phase rotator motor for the chopper
Wat???!
Nice job! Sounds nice!
4/5 port?
Nope, 5/6.
It’s just running on a different chopper level. Sounds like level 5 or lower.
Sadly it was ripped off the building
the blower is sticking out of the roof lol
No.. That is a access door.
It’s the blower it has vents
Nice!!!
Big roar
YeeZus
gettin a bit sickly
Little bit of an air leak.
Not really
My guy just said a siren has an air leak xD
Thunderbolts can have air leaks in their blower pipes
Yes.
