the next video will be about MUDSKIPPERS!! :D i just finished the model yesterday- I'm trying to slowly edit UA-cam videos day to day so I can ultimately get them out sooner, hopefully. ANYWAY i'm either gonna model an oarfish or a maned wolf next which should i do....
thank you! BUT ALSO OMGGGGG this made me realize I forgot to talk about loftwings I can't believe it!!!! I literally had a whole thing in my video outline about loftwings and I just forgot omg....i'll have to give them a shoutout in the next video haha
that idea to build the beak over the skull of a shoebill on the second day was genius and it turned out so perfect. excellent shape to your model's bill. beautiful also i love how cartoony styles of grey animals use light blues (like your shark vtuber too!) for their body color. and the column was so silly "what a lovely thing i am" xD love that

Our whole anatomy is fricked. We're built like a plank but somehow we balance nonetheless. And because of it we have back pain and a high chance of dying while giving birth. Most bipedal animals either stand horizontally, halfway between horizontal and upright, or stand upright but have an actually appropriately curved spine and don't give live birth

This was lovely to watch. I don't know much about 3D modeling but as someone who draws birds as a hobby I know the struggles of their surprisingly deceptive shapes. I was thrilled when you talked about the articulation of the lower mandible, bird leg anatomy, and the bulk that wings add to the body and how they fold. Especially when animating a bird talking, it's great to see someone looking at skulls for reference to ensure that the movement looks natural. Great job on the model and stickers!
I really do hope the Shoebill becomes a vtuber model. Red panda hat will look so sweet on it :D Also, these videos are so chill. They always make my day and I just must thank you for it!
loved the process and your voice! and the flowy moving shark kept my cat entertained all through the video we watched it all together in one go it came out so well! thank you!
I'm new to the channel but can I just say ... I am ABSOLUTELY ENTHRALLED by that camera orbiting the shoebill in the background while you're modelling that is such a genius idea and I am ABSOLUTELY stealing it thank you very much
Thank you for another treat of a video! im learning low poly for gamedev and this helps lots, I love this art style! keep up the good work miss snorp (:
so cute!!! i love your models and your style so much. it's awesome that you narrate with your process and i love that you mix in facts about the birb! to be honest, i kind of disliked shoebills before (i was scared of them as a kid lol) but now i see that they are simply just cutie patooties. amazing work as always!!!
i always thought i would be scared when i got to hear a shoebill clatter their beak irl but it was actually a really neat sound! :D in person it sounds more hollow? like a wood block almost.....very shoebill asmr
I have never modeled anything digitally before, only worked with clay and carving wood, but I absolutely love watching this with the commentary about the process + bits you learned about the animal while modeling it. Subbed!
Sneeps, keep it up! You make amazing content and this shoebill is so adorable despite my cat brain just watching your tail flow around the whole time lmao
What I like to do as I am an artist I’d like to study the anatomy of the animal that I’m drawing so then once I get the idea of the anatomy and bone structure, then it’s easier for me to stylize it and try to make it in my own style.
just found you now loving watching these while i suffer away with 3 point perspective lol I dunno how suggestions work but id love to see you tackle a pterosaur of some kind eventually preferably an azhdarchid, but i also love me a good tapejarid or nyctosaur truly the world is your oyster when looking for weird and fascinating pterosaurs
Your models are so so cool, these videos have inspired me to start to try and learn Blender :) So far I've only made a low quality low poly whale, but oh well
I find it really funny (as someone who doesnt do 3d modeling but does do art semi-professionally) to watch you struggle with the face and neck. When you expressed having issues figuring out the neck with the new head I was like "your original topology looks just fine, why not just delete the front part of the original face and stick the new one on" and to watch you quite for 5 days and then come to the same conclusion made me laugh out loud. Our brains really can't see the obvious solutions right in front of us when we are frustrated and low on energy. Remember: if you are frustrated and nothing looks right, take a break, because usually that fixes your issues 😂😂😂
If you ever need an idea on any future birds, you could look into the red crested turaco! I love the shoebill model! You videos are super nice to watch and listen to ^_^
thank you so much for not doing the annoying art youtuber thing of blurring out the final product in the thumbnail. that always bothers me so much. i'm like "do you really think that's gonna make me _more_ likely to watch your video?? no, it's just gonna make me uninterested, wtf." whereas here i'm like "ooo cute muppet bird model!?!? i wanna see how it was made!"
I saw your wolf render short a couple weeks ago and instantly fell in live with your style, everything is super adorable and incredibly friend-shaped ❤❤. I'm a little curious if you have any slug-like renders, I think a sea lemon would be absolutely adorable.

I am personally biased to sea creatures sooo 👀👀
but anything you make is amazing and will patiently await your next vid no matter the subject
Please make an acolyte! Also that shoebill is amazing love em.
YES!! those things are so goofy looking
Maned wolf definitely!
I think you could do a really nice Idle wiggle with an oarfish!
“It is really a surpise to many that there is a creature such as I am. But here I am. No one can deny it.” goes unimaginably hard omg
Sounds like it came from Jurassic park.
i would absolutely adore a zoo tycoon-type of game with your low-poly animals tbh. they're so cute
Majora's Mask edits are very appropriate here considering shoebills inspired the design of loftwings. Another lovely creation by you :)
thank you! BUT ALSO OMGGGGG this made me realize I forgot to talk about loftwings I can't believe it!!!! I literally had a whole thing in my video outline about loftwings and I just forgot omg....i'll have to give them a shoutout in the next video haha

oh my god, that little shark avatar is SO CUTE. Also, I really like your very minimal thumbnails and font choices, it's super inviting.

I love Shoebills. From their docile nature to their machine gun sound.
Shoebills are simultaneously the cutest things and the most metal creatures on this earth.

making the camera constantly rotate around the object while modeling is genius, never would've thought of that

And I love to see 3d modelling stuff, so your channel is basically ✨perfect✨in my eyes!!
Hi, zoologist here. Yes, sea elephants are mollusks! Gastropods, to boot. They live in the pelagic zone. And yes, birb "knees" are their ankles.
i just love how random the informations are AND at same time i study 3d modeling some more
I love your commentary! I’m trying to learn how to do 3D stuff, and I love your style and your vtuber shark!
chilling while modeling and just nerding out about animals, i'm glad i found this channel
I would be indescribably happy if you make a low poly manta ray model. Lil underwater swimming kites.
I'm a big fan of your models ♥️
