Those parts of the Wilbury's were better but the "whole" of Golden Smog was a better band.

Very good music. Love it. I have also discovered The Hello Friends. I read Golden Smog is one of their favorite bands.
I hope that Dan Murphy's still gonna do the occasional Golden Smog gig and album, despite having given up Soul Asylum....

Was the bar stuff shot at Liquor Lyle's? - some looks like yes, some looks like no.
I was initially thinking Lee’s but now am pretty sure it was the Otter Saloon at 617 Central Ave SE, since there’s a sign at the beginning on the bar that read 617 Saloon. Awesome song!!
