Thank you so much, this really helps me stay encouraged. Im very grateful to have access to unlimited knowledge and growth at the touch of a button and save for another time I may need to remember. I feel that God has asked me a few times to wait quietly and patiently over the last 5 years and I just wasn't getting it until recently because I was too focused on the negative voices coming at me instead of coming to Him as frequently as I was listening to everyone else. He has come through for me so many times in my life, and I recognize my blessings but each time I was forced to rest it was a sad mess and I suspect it was because I wasn't giving Him 100%. I'm thoroughly convinced He is real, I dont want to live like that anymore and this is the first time I feel thirsty for the word because I desire the intimacy more than the reward or because I'm afraid of Hell for eternity. I'm not short on people I could talk to but I want to spend time with the one who is GENUINELY trying to love me for who I really am and knows every detail of my life and situation.
I have been struggling with a serious problem which is actually several all rolled into a mess. I have been fasting and praying for months and the Holy Spirit has been directing me through it. A new issue hit about two weeks ago and added to the crises. I decided to spend time worshipping the Lord tomorrow while also fasting and praying about what I should do. I could not sleep and decided to stop my thoughts my listening to this sermon. Again I see the Holy Spirit working. This is exactly what I needed. I listened to the other lesson in Habakkuk, but did not realize this is another from the same book. I had already surrendered my will in this because I trust the Lord to be teaching me in it. Scripture tells me that “ the steps of the righteous are ordained by the Lord”, so, though this is very hard, I trust Him because He always keeps His Word. Thank you Lord for this lesson. By-the-way, I love the book of Job. It really shoots down the health,wealth,and prosperity gospel. His three friends held those beliefs and condemned Job when he had lost all of those things. But God rebuked them, commended Joband told them to have His servant Job to pray and make a sacrifice for them for God to forgive them.

This is the best teaching/sermon I have ever heard on “Waiting on the Lord.” T Keller just a way of seeing things that others don’t see . That’s why I love listening to him. Although I am glad he is now in the bosom of his beloved Saviour, beyond reach of evil times, I wish he had more years to teach n preach n mentor. I missed seeing/hearing him in person when I was visiting in NYC.
I so agree with you. He has a special and unique approach.

Yes, I believe I met Mrs Rochester numerous times. I once made an entire batch of chicken and noodles for her when she had knee surgery. We also had several holiday dinners as well as birthday parties. She often shot arrows at Eddie and we finally withdrew from her company. So, while he was in icu he asked me to ban her from visiting him, which I did, telling Robin he would see her and Kelly, but not their mother. He made me promise not to have her buried in the family plot and to give the spaces back to the cemetery, which I did. All I promised him, I fulfilled to the best of my ability, such was the intensity of my love.

Can it bring my dog back to life? No. I’m still upset about someone hurting my dog to his last breath. Hupomone is what I strive for. Only the company confuses me. Yes, in Colorado I served as a Stephens Minister many times when I was exhausted and empty.
