Just a hobbiest now. I finished working with electronics officially. Never used a Thyratron as a switcher before. I'm assuming that the RD parameters would have to be fairly powerful for the kind of voltages and currents that these Thyratron's deal with? How would this be configured differently in order to need a snubber? Thanks for your responses btw 👍

How does a de-Q circuit be used in controlling the PFN voltage and what is the use? Can you make a video on that?

It depends on the circuitry configuration. You can use RD snubber For additional protection.
