I love watchin switchin' in the city . Why? I dont know ! And at 10:51 . We dont really see 'piggy back ' trains anymore ! Its useally the box that is separated from the trailer and put onto the train. Unlike the whole trailer like u see that train carrying All in all . Great videoz that uve been posting
Saw a lot of these on vacation, also, is there a CSX Switcher? i saw a small CSX Diesel connected behind a regular one on a sighting in a field, the tracks were clean, so it means they are still used, they looked some what old though.
Late to reply but yeah CSX does have a small amount of switchers still on the roster, I think MP15DCs and SW1500s but those are largely restricted to industrial areas with lots of Branches like Baltimore (go to the end of the vid): ua-cam.com/video/XRrZ8O_9VOU/v-deo.html
Niceness catch I’m guessing someone already mentioned this but in the description you have SD70ACE. It’s really an SD70M. You can tell the difference because it doesn’t have the giant sand nozzles on the front. Still cool catches though since CSX’s homestead looks like shit.
That is weird. And yeah they sold them off to a leasing company. Makes me sad. I hate railroads all the locomotives look the same so you think they are the same from a glance. And then nope. People who can tell Dash 9s from AC4400s for instance, you have my respect.
I don't understand why the stats say this is 60fps when it's clearly about 14fps. The youtube algorithm should be smart enough to see that there is only frame data changes at a certain interval, why doesn't it correct what many uploaders mistakenly do all the time and encode a 14 or 15fps video at 60fps completely wasting there time, bandwidth, storage space, and annoying all that watch the video as it's misrepresented? just curious, still like the video though.
It's supposed to be a 60fps video coming from a camcorder with that capability. Maybe either my software or UA-cam messed it up, IDK. But thanks for the suggestion.
Wow, that scene starting at 6:01 is really cool! I love seeing local trains on rough track
06:55. Amazing how the track is able to maintain its integrity given the condition it is in.
Second 0:48 The train is going Northbound direction . Thank you Tolga!
That siding has definitely seen better days, awesome footage! The audio on the diamond crossing is also top notch.
Etobicoke Central Railways i know even the engine crept over that one spot
Awesome Catches & Video and I love the SD70MAC on the lead on CSX O721 & I loved it all! 5 Stars +brickbuilder711
i wonder if someone who graffitied a freight car ever watched one of these vids and saw the car they tagged
Same, just imagine that!
The dwarf signal at 6:47 is cool 😉
Chris Carpenter what’s a dwarf signal ?⚠️
DarkBubblePenguin It's a signal close to the ground used for restricted space. You can see it on the ground on the left side of the box cars.
It looks like a traffic cone on its side...
But who knows? I have never even seen a dwarf signal

The SD70MAC’s horn is loud!!!!
Great video-especially the shot from East Rail. I miss Lance Mindheim's original website. It was cool you got to visit his Downtown Spur layout.
You always grab great footage. exciting stuff on your channel.. thanks for sharing.

Max
Great video...thanks for sharing!!
Thanks!
Love watching these videos. Just wish I lived near an active track.
I used to live near the Old B&M now PanAm Line.
Very very good! Thank you for posting!
Just wondering, does FEC has priority over the diamond , or is it first come first serve? And great video by the way 👍🏽
Thank you. It is a first come first serve
Great Catches! Really liked that switching job.
Cool video and catches very cool
thanks!
brickbuilder711 you’re welcome
Cool catches, you never know what you might see when railfanning
Wide World of Trains 🚋🚆🚆🚆🚇🚇🚆.
Awesome vid! Thanks for sharing!
The last part was with east coast railroad which crosses the CSX & Tri Rail in Hialeah close to NW 79th St.
Good vídeo!
Very cool area, Would love to see more switching videos!
Nice video!!! Thanks for posting

Cool videos guys. I noticed a few jets flying overhead too.
Awesome trains and video !
0:36 imagine trying to get home after a long and horrible day to relax and suddenly you see this…
Fantastic video!
TOFC's...Awesome catch
Nice coverage
. Good Video.
Nice video!
Is this the area that made it to model railroader? The Miami spur line that Lance M made a superb exact layout of?
Close! He semi freelanced this portion, this is East Rail. The Downtown spur which was exacted is south of here.
Awesome! Why do the FEC trains have tanks between the engines??
To provide LNG fuel to the locomotives.
Awesome video
That is amazing!!!!!!!!
Ya just had to toss an FEC catch in there didnt ya? :P :P Excellent catches BRICK! :D
Thanks GATOR
Objects in mirror sound closer than they appear 😳
Pure Awesomeness
Thanks. Was a pleasant surprise meeting you. (I had a feeling I'd run into ya tho!)
Likewise bro! We gota do this again for sure.
Great looking video.
Very nice!
Are those fuel tanks on the head end of the train or just added ballast cars? I have never seen those before.
They are LNG tenders to supply fuel to the locomotives.
Is the speed doubled on the video for that first train?
Loved It!!!
Noce video brick
Ty
I like the camera you're using.
stop
Wait 23 seconds for signal to activate
Were those some kind of slugs on the FEC train?
Pretty cool
nice video bro
What was with the tank cars on the FEC that were between the engines in the front?
Cool!

Thanks, actually CSX does consider it an SD70AC, an AC analogue to the M. The ACes are roster defined as SD70AE, and are off the roster.

Head for the roundhose! You won't be cornered there!!
so at about 10:15 what are the smaller red cars between the engines ?
12:00 there's something on the track
Where are the stop gates ?
What's with the tank cars between the locos on the FEC?
Tsurnari - I believe those are for experimental natural-gas powered locos.
That train had to stop
The singles never went off that’s not safe
Where is the johnny cash music
What plant were those coal empties coming from
They're actually loaded aggregate from Krome Quarry.

good video. unless the railroad gives u permission to use a drone they don't like people flying those things around the tracks.
chris that's fine. Not much they can do if you are going about it, legally.
