With Fubuki’s kit centered around movement and speed I would assume she would be bad with a couch potato run but turns out her dodging actually makes her viable
Very easy with Amelia, Bubba will pick up all XP and her ult will slow down bosses. Just don't expect to get any loot from bosses. They can even get close to you.
@@hoodiesticks it can work but still hard. better if you don't build knock back on her. best so far is Ame , bubba can collect exp and her main weapon isn't aoe so you don't accidentally kill bosses and not have their loot.
I got sooo close one run, but just died to Smol Ame. I tanked her through a life bar, a full special, and another life bar, but died just before I could kill her. Had some wild health regen defensive gear, but just missed. Needed a little more attack to finish things off faster.
@@Code-mb3yz Yeah, I have some, but sure maxing it would help. I think I'm rank 11 with her and had something like 6/6 hp/damage with max defense, regen, and xp.
Just do it with Sana, her ulti picks every xp near her so you never starve for levels...also her weapon hits in 360 so you don't even need to turn around...
I used sana for the couch potato achievement because of the knockback and her ult with collects everything so that is one of the easy ways to do it. As for the hardcore achievement you can use kronii because of her skills then just get headphones(optional) and body pillow.
I used Ame - her damage is just super good and you can forego Limiter because Bubba gathers the XP for her. Otherwise I went full defensive passives for her, horns, feather, bandage, pillow, headphones and full meal.
I actually haven't known about mouse control at the time, so when I tried to get Couch Potato as IRyS (also to unlock Hope Soda) she's just constantly firing to the right and I had to get Spider Cooking to kill enemies that got near

Fauna's also a good one for this, especially if you can snag either the Idol Costume or its Super variant, to really make the most out of your huge invulnerability tree.
I used Sana, I failed multiple times because it was hard to get the right items. I was always dying on the final 1 min mark. Until I realized I could get the Chicken's Feather to revive. Oh how satisfying it was to get this achievement.
actually with ame and body pillow with her dog (her companion picks up xp for you) you will struggle a bit at the start but as long as you get her dog companion and body pillow, you are very good to go
Ended up getting it after about five tries, but switched out membership and sake with energy drink and a lucky super body pillow. Also kept the tail upgrade available and maxed it out towards the end. Thanks for the guide!
I did it after a couple of tries thanks to this guide, thank you! I did it without maxed upgrades (Attack at 7, Speed&Health at 6, irrelevant for this, Rest at 5). Couple of things i found: - It helps having Fubuki at Gachikoi level. Makes the early leveling less tight imo, as you need to roll for certain things as pointed out. - It is possible to get the level up 5 times achievement this way if you have no limiter and the screen is filled with XP. When you get it, level it to 3 to gradually collect all the XP, it counted for me. - I randomly got a normal anvil and a sticker once (RGB :/). - Build was Fox Tail, Psycho Axe, Spider Cooking, Elite Lava Bucket, Holo Bomb, CEO tears / Limiter, Chicken's Feather, Headphones, Body Pillow, Injection type Asacoco + 1 out of Study Glasses, Face mask and Knightly Milk. For the successful attempt it was golden glasses. Versatile! Needed limiter quite early to get the leveling going and then a weapon strong enough to deal with the deadbeats spiral and the viking takodachis. After, a safety chicken's feather for Fubura. It is possible to do Fubura without needing a revive, but for me, it was inconsistent. So plan one for Fubura, one for Smol Ame and one for safety. Body pillow + headphones helps you survive the Kronies and shrimps+deadbeats. Otherwise, it's just ulting for the bosses as described and aiming.
Done this couch potato achievement with sana, It was so frustating to keep my eyes on her, almost died everytime miniboss/smol ame coming to me. Pretty much relying on her ult to reach gems and keep her alive
Very cool way to combine both achievements. 👍 Roboco-San is also a viable candidate for the job. I got Couch Potato but... completely forgot about that other achievement and didn't enable hardcore mode. 🤔 A pity. The way that Roboco-San's Special just melts everything on the screen in an emergency, is very helpful.
replaced sake with body pillow and subscription with energy drink a must at start is the cooking, I level 7 the weapon. same achievement, thanks for the idea unlocked both achivement. now beating mumei's 5min record at time limit area
I used Ina for the couch potato achievement. Ao chan can pick up exp for me and her ult and awakened weapon has knockback. The takodachis can also provide healing which made my run a lot easier. This was done v0.5 too
I did a non hard-core run with Fauna, actually lucked out enough to get a gold anvil drop DIRECTLY on my head, from a boss. I think I used up my supply of luck for an entire season.
You can use Mumei which has pretty good damage with her awakened weapon, and increased pick-up from her pet for the early game if you get unlucky enogh to not find limiter
I just did them separately I did couch with Mumei, despite ppl saying she's bad for it, arguably yeah, they were right, she has a bad time with it... but I did it, first try even. You may question my methods but not my results
I tried doing it with hachama with main weapon only. Died on 19 minutes mark. Understandable, considering I haven't maxed out my shops upgrade yet. If I've unlock phoenix feather first, I should've won. Also, try using Sana with all weapons +size enchant, knight milk, and stamps. The eldritch collabs fills the entire screen to black it's hilarious 😂
I pulled it off with Ame, Buba can run around and pick up EXP and help attack enemies for me. I'm trying to get Fubuki to clear Stage 2 Hard Mode, but I keep dying right at the last boss.
I did it with Sana, Special makes you immune + knockback for some secs, and you grab all the stuff around. Don't know about the Hardcore part though. :/
i never tried it but i think mumei could do 3 in 1 run with full defense built (breastplate, body pillow, headphone, chicken feather, asacoco injection/membership, either plushie for and instantly get a lot dmg or devil hat for another dmg buff or idol dress for fast skill/ultimate or energy drink for haste but i think doesnt need energy drink since can add haste from lvl up) but idk, i do couch potato with mumei and hardcore with only main weapon in 1 run also with mumei. I want to try it but i still at grind for getting all achivement. Edit : and not upgrade the one that make enemies more
I have a g rank 6 fubuki and mio and that is not on purpose that’s just how many pulls I required before I was able to get Korone and Okayu I think my Korone is rank 2 or 3 now the hololive gamers banner was a little annoying with the duplicates
I thought you could only get couch potato as Ame because I thought she had the only means to level up with bubba collecting exp. I hadn't played as very many different characters when I got this achievement.
@shadowshedinja6124 I've been getting as many challenge achievements as I can before unlocking mid and bad items so I don't have to use as many eliminates on them.
I wonder if Subaru would work, since she seems the queen of Hardcore Gamer, especially because Optimism stacks proc off both Oozora Police and hits to her shield and I think both her special and final skill do knockback and the skill at least does more damage close up. Just not sure how her Couch Potato viability is?
Oh, definitely. I think every character can get couch potato but Subaru has a great kit for it. As long as you don’t max her main weapon first and get Psycho Axe and Spider Cooking early, the run should go fine!
Hi, maybe I'm just being stupid, but how are you able to aim without moving? I'm using pc controls and I can't seem to find a way (other than strafing) to separate aim and movement, if someone could explain this to me that would be very helpful! Especially for the no move challenge T_T

Any character will work. I tried with Haato but wasn't used to using her, so I died halfway. Tried with Calli and beat it without the solo stamp cause it decided that rainbowing harder is the way to go
I don't get how the bosses die so fast. I've never seen them die that fast before. Smol Ame didn't even have time for a second ground pound. Was there a time skip for the boss battles?

That just seems unreal to me. I'm sure I've watched some max upgrade players that haven't killed the bosses that fast. Huh. Just seems to fast, but if you say no time skip...
I approached it very differently XD I did it with Fauna getting "Couch potato" "I don't need it" and Solo weapon in 1 run and used Calli to get hardcore and over 9000 in 1 run
Good for you that still can aim. My Mouse is Broken 2day before challenge Crouch Potato (just buy a new one today)and can only aim forward.🤣 Btw I clear it with mumei.
I used Matsuri with a defensive setup. She can tank it, and her 2 skills are perfect since they are basically on hit counters. Items: Breastplate, Limiter, Nurse Horns or Band-aid, Body Pillow and/or Plushie, that green tea 🍵 looking item, and Subscription. You can even opt out Subscription for Halu if you want. Green Tea is semi-optional since it depends if you want to use her Special in quick successions or not. If you're opting out of Green Tea, then take Subscription as the replacement. Band-aids are usually better than Nurse Horn, unless you have Spider Cooking. You'd want to get hit by mobs and bosses to trigger your skills afterall, so you'd also want items that works similarly to that. Weapons - use whatever. Stage 1 is pretty easy.
Yup. As previous comment said, I recommend using mouse so that you dont accidentally move :) Just click mouse 1 at the start and you should be able to aim with it
Fauna stands straight. Honestly struggled to do this in earlier patches. Now I got through all of the main stages with her. Sadly I don't think the hard stages are possible. someone could prove me wrong, but I got a near perfect run on my first try and still couldn't get past the sprout wave near the end of hard-1. Dont even know if hard 2 would get out of the first wave alive.
I did a 3 in 1 game achievement getting Couch Potato, Solo Beater, and the no special one with Ame It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would tho... I only died once ;-;

I thought she'd be an easy pick for couch potato but the fact that there is a blind spot for her planets made early game difficult

Done the couch potato with Fauna. Breastplate really helps on early minibosses and using her special when she's about dead.
I got my couch potato run with irys. I went full damage + body pillow and just let her healing hard carry. Still haven’t done the hardcore achievement
I've done the hardcore with Kiara. Body pillow to make up for that 1HP, and Injection Asacoco for offensive boost because why worry about HP loss?

Her normal attack is so busted that you practically have a mini Dragon's Breath when awakened.

A fully upgraded Fandoms Fauna plus Limiter made my Couch Potato run an absolute cakewalk.
The urge of picking all those up. But honestly this is also good strategy

I did Couch Potato with IRyS. With mouse control she's basically a walking (well in this case standing) defence turret.

I've been trying this for 4 hrs with a g 33 fbk and i always end up 8 lvls behind the video with some awful rng idk what to do
Ame might be easier for couch potato because of the long range basic attack and bubba picking up the exp for leveling faster
Did it with Sana before the fandom came out. Did it again after fandom came out and was even easier with skills at lvl 3
I used Fauna for hardcore, as for the couch potato i used Ame, since her dog collects Exp, but maybe Anya would be better for that.
I thoght limiter and chicken feather are necessary items but I didn't think hardcore with Injection asacoco,face mask and membership

They actually increased the invuln time of Friendzone this patch so I’m not sure what’s going wrong :(
Same here, i was trying this with the G max 10, but the maxium time i had reach with all the upgrades in the shop was 16 or 17 minutes.

You also need to max out marketing btw or you wont have enough exp for enough upgrades to have enough damage for first the boss xd

Once you beat a game with Sana, you unlock the Limiter item which increases your item pickup range by 100% at level 1. Makes it way easier.

Just go with your oshi, make sure you take the solo stamp and you will be good

I approached it very differently XD I did it with Fauna getting "Couch potato" "I don't need it" and Solo weapon in 1 run and used Calli to get hardcore and over 9000 in 1 run

I used Matsuri with a defensive setup. She can tank it, and her 2 skills are perfect since they are basically on hit counters.
Items:
Breastplate, Limiter, Nurse Horns or Band-aid, Body Pillow and/or Plushie, that green tea 🍵 looking item, and Subscription. You can even opt out Subscription for Halu if you want. Green Tea is semi-optional since it depends if you want to use her Special in quick successions or not. If you're opting out of Green Tea, then take Subscription as the replacement. Band-aids are usually better than Nurse Horn, unless you have Spider Cooking. You'd want to get hit by mobs and bosses to trigger your skills afterall, so you'd also want items that works similarly to that.
Weapons - use whatever. Stage 1 is pretty easy.

You can use mouse to aim it, or if you are using keyboard just hold your confirm keybinds (example: I use "enter" to confirm keybinds)
Yup. As previous comment said, I recommend using mouse so that you dont accidentally move :) Just click mouse 1 at the start and you should be able to aim with it

Fauna stands straight. Honestly struggled to do this in earlier patches. Now I got through all of the main stages with her. Sadly I don't think the hard stages are possible. someone could prove me wrong, but I got a near perfect run on my first try and still couldn't get past the sprout wave near the end of hard-1. Dont even know if hard 2 would get out of the first wave alive.

Of course, the point is not to move (walk) but you can still use every ability that you could do while sitting on a couch as well. ;)

I did a 3 in 1 game achievement getting Couch Potato, Solo Beater, and the no special one with Ame
It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would tho... I only died once ;-;
