I appreciate these hacks existing- how else are the true lunatics of the world supposed to identify themselves to us without a horrifying panda toy coat??
Better Help (Edit to correct my typo of Health to Help) got fined back in March for selling patient data. They were banned from doing it again but who knows if they will do that or find some loophole to keep doing it. I also remember reading at the time that they were inflating the number of their therapists by claiming they had people on roster they did not actually have and then redirecting those clients to other doctors. Love your channel and always looking forward to hearing your opinion when you show on my feed, will absolutely keep being a fan, i just wanted to point out the Better Help thing so you would be aware of it ❤
Yeah they're a shitty company, from videos I've seen some of the "therapists" aren't licensed at all, even though they advertise themselves as real therapy
This^ I cringe every time I see a better help ad. Especially when my fav creators are promoting them. Like I know creators need money, so I can't fault them, but at the same time better help is not a good company at all, they have some very sketchy practices, that can even be potentially dangerous. (such as having unlicensed therapists that are actively treating patients.) So it really sucks seeing my favorite creators create sponsorship ads for them. I'm glad people are learning about this though, thank you for making this comment.
It’s amazing how the pink paint on the jeans magically appears on the jacket BEFORE HER ASS TOUCHED IT… More please! Luke’s reactions are HILARIOUS! 😂🤣😂🤣
The lace-up jeans one is absolutely hlarious because you just *know* that they didn't add those rivets to the jeans they cut up. That is for sure a pair of actual lace-up jeans that they just took the lace out of.
Thank you, Luke for suffering for our entertainment. You could make a video of your best hot takes on clothing hacks and fashion reviews. Excellent pick me up for when the world is just too damn much.
Ok but they didn't even paint the jacket with the jeans... You can see where they stitched the videos together at 6:45, where the paint on the jacket just magically shows up before she even makes contact with it.
They make fluffy socks with grippys on them though? People just need to choose their socks better Edit: the horse shoes would be great for cosplay though
If you want to draw a pattern off clothes bigger than underwear, get a roll of plastic sheeting from the paint department, used as a drop cloth when painting. I iron the plastic with a cool iron to take out the folds. Learned this from Ren Faire attendees 30 years ago. The plastic isn’t clear like the baggie, but is definitely clear enough to copy the shape and details of what you’re copying.
Love this so much. Haha except for the part where you made fun of the spikes under the shoes hahaha having lived in northern Sweden where you constantly walk across frozen lakes etc I used those all the time. Not paired with fake p-p-p-pink Valentino heels tho😂😂
Yeah I use those too for hiking in the winter time! Or if I know there will be a lot of ice. But always paired with my boots. Why you would wear them with heels is beyond me😂 I think that's what he was making fun of more, was just using them with heels. Not the spikes in general. At least I hope that's what he meant lol cause they are such a good tool.
I work in the school system, and this is my first day of summer vacation - what a hilarious way to start it off! I always love your commentary - knowledgable but also often funny, and just marginally snarky without being rude. Don't ever stop : ).
I self taught myself sewing by youtube etc and the amount of these awful "hacks" people sent me just... I had to give up on the below as my eyes rebelled otherwise I'd lose braincells. You can use little clips because ribbon would just slip and slide plus you're running plastic high speed against a plastic comb so you'll get a nice lil shock. You can paint like a normal human... the jean combo reminds me of the shabby chique movement, except it's actually really hard to pull off and you're left with what looks like trash. The legging thing you'll need a specific tool for those holes unless you wanna handsew buttonholes or magically have a buttonhole option on a sewing machine. Buy a non slip sock or the specific sole type to achieve this which would be cheaper than buying a glue gun and the specific glue you'll need because I refuse to believe they're silly enough to use normal glue gun stuff. I'm going to sit on my staple skirt and become a pincushion and need tetanus jabs. The bikini top is 😂 anyone that doesn't have a concave chest will have some hilarious accidents. HAVE YOU SEEN THE PLUSH COVERED FURNITURE?!? PLEASE please look at all the amature attempts its free dopamine from laughing.
You see a lot of these sewing hacks on sewing IG/youtube being praised and I'm so relieved to hear Luke slagging them off, I felt like I was losing my mind.
The hot glue fuzzy sock is actually an effective hack and is exactly what they do in factories for products sold on Amazon. The sock will rip long before the hot glue crumbles off
Luke, plz plz plz do this sort of video regularly! It was absolutely hysterical! That hoof shoe was everything and the fact you said, and I quote, 'that heel has alopecia and I don't think that's fair' I laughed so hard. And when you made that 'heehaw' sound I laughed even harder! You are so funny. Your reactions are brilliant Luke. Some of those sewing hacks were brilliant tho, and as someone who sews, I will have to remember the one with the paper clip. God bless you and all those you love.
Lol, the panda coat 😂 But the shoes... They used polymer clay, they can't put a shoe in the oven, that's gotta be fake. Also, the plastic handle suitcase, another fake, plastic doesn't stick like that. I think the credit card over could be an idea but it was done really poorly. These are so funny 🤣
They actually make really big baggies. They're more of an office organization item rather than for food. I work in a school and they're used to keep items together, like a book and puppets or such.
I know you said it’s a NO but I’m gonna try it. I have a pair of pointy toe black leather kitten heals where the strap broke and I’m going to try the ribbon hack like the orange shoes to see if I can keep them awhile longer
Awesome video, Luke, because I luv your comments and facial expressions ❤ Some of these hacks are ridiculous and others are interesting. But yeah, I'll just go buy what I need. When she cut those leather (pleather?) pants, I died! On the good side, watching these hacks proves how dumb some trends are lol
Thank you for this Luke and even though it's torture for you it really sweetened up my bus commute to work!! Was laughing and smiling the whole way through. Great start into a Friday! Thank you ❤❤❤
I’m glad your family and friends harangued you into doing this video. I was having an awful time with some news about my dog’s health this morning, so this video came at just the right time to bring me a brief ray of sunshine and and it literally made me lol. Thanks, Luke!
Well, this just gave me life! Let's take $200 worth of stuffed Pandas and make a video! Great idea! Th e reaction you had to the credit card necklace was everything I could have wanted. Not to mention that in the video the ball chain was glued to the back of the piece but the finished "piece" had it on top edge. You really must commit to doing at least 1 of these every month, Luke. Please. Pretty please.
"We need sewing literacy".... I cracked up. Thank you. My dad sewed and he was born in 1926. He'd sew his pants, buttons, rips in clothing because he went through WWII and you didn't waste. Yes, to less wasting and no plasticizing things. Yes, Yes, Yes to you Luke. xoxo
Wait, wait wait! Let me get my Blankey and my cup of tea and I’m right here. Let us go forth.… Blurgh. My mother taught me how to darn when I was small. So many pieces of clothing saved just because I know how to sew by hand. SMH Paint on $85 Levi’s is blasphemy. I would slice out the knees first. Then perhaps do some shirring under the butt. These are Levi’s 501s. Has one no respect?
The heart jacket was so unnecessary. How hard is it to paint a heart if you really want that? I also agree - everyone should know how to sew. Sad it's disappearing. Edit - OH MY. Cry laughing by the end! 😂
The credit card necklace...why? It's one thing to wear a necklace with your first name or monogram/initials on it, that's cute and fun. But why would I want every stranger I walk past to know my first *and* last name?!?
Okay listen, there is a person who creates horse shoes and sells them (on etsy iirc) and I live for them because they are so detailed and look amazing. I wish i could remember the creators name. But the 5 min crafts version? Absolutely not. Burn it. Concept, yes. Their execution? No. No no no.
The plastic bag patterning....! They really said, "seam allowance? we don't know her." (Tracing your own clothes IS a valid patterning hack, but not like that!)
So I am deeply amused by the “tie your shoes to your feet with ribbon” one, as it originates from the tricks of the trade for strippers. They use the straps from string bikinis to do this trick, continuing the criss-cross ties up the length of the leg. This helps to keep the massive high heel on the foot while doing crazy areal pole dancing moves and prevents the loss of a shoe mid-performance. Also- thoes stripper shoes are really very heavy due to the massive amounts of acrylic used to make the oversized platforms- it’s actually a problematic and dangerous footwear that can have dangerous consequences- boy could I tell you some stories! The point is- this “hack” comes from a place of necessity and really isn’t for the average girl in her kitten-heeled mules; it’s for the hard working athletes who bravely teeter around on 8” heels with their bits out before while twirling 15 feet in the air like magic!
I appreciate these hacks existing- how else are the true lunatics of the world supposed to identify themselves to us without a horrifying panda toy coat??
🎯💀
I could just see a whole bunch of little kids tackling her for the stuffed pandas. 😂
"What does she have alopecia?" Actually took me out 😂😂😂 those horse shoes are the winners of this video for me
@DJ In what way? Good or bad? 😂

I hope he sees this >_
Yeah they're a shitty company, from videos I've seen some of the "therapists" aren't licensed at all, even though they advertise themselves as real therapy
Thank you
It's better help but yes they're not a good company
This^ I cringe every time I see a better help ad. Especially when my fav creators are promoting them. Now this is funny. We appreciate Luke for always coming up with something new every single time there’s a new post.
Ayo Nana!!
I remember like 3 years ago he used to make videos like this and they were very entertaining. I’ve been subbed for awhile, huh? 😭😭
“Copy…wrong” - 2023 word of the year

It’s amazing how the pink paint on the jeans magically appears on the jacket BEFORE HER ASS TOUCHED IT…

idk why but the title already made me burst out laughing. the relationship between luke and hacks is always entertaining
I laughed so much at the panda coat…it physically hurt
I love the image of the older people in your life seeing 5 minute crafts on facebook and wanting you to see them. Giving facebook mom
A tad agist!
I want everybody to laugh their asses off like I am now 🤣
""""Staplerrrrr""""
Im f#cking dead. Your humor gives me life ❤
Ahhh yess, one of my favs tbh. Thank you for suffering for our entertainment✨❤️
yaaaaaaaaay happy to hear that!
@@hautelemode I need to know, did you hate the credit card necklace more than the infamous pistachio shells necklace?
This was hilarious! 5 minute crafts "hacks" are such a roller coaster of emotions. I'd love to see more reacts from Luke.
Thank you, Luke for suffering for our entertainment. You could make a video of your best hot takes on clothing hacks and fashion reviews. Excellent pick me up for when the world is just too damn much.
we don't pay Luke enough to endure this
personally needed more time to emotionally prepare for the last one 🐼
Polymer clay has to be baked, they clearly didn't use polymer clay...sigh
I went down to the comments just to confirm someone else noticed this lol
After a day of bad news thanks for the comic relief. The high cringe factor is good for laughing 😂
Luke made me laugh for the first time in days. We are not worthy ❤
Love this Luke and I hope he’s recovered from this pain
I absolutely love it when you say that you hate something, and two seconds later you admit that you low key love it! 😂 You are adorable
"This is awful...but I also kinda low key love it...but its awful"
Same boo. Same 😂
the horse shoes took me out omfg what is this mr tumnus haute couture???
Ok but they didn't even paint the jacket with the jeans... You can see where they stitched the videos together at 6:45, where the paint on the jacket just magically shows up before she even makes contact with it.
They make fluffy socks with grippys on them though? People just need to choose their socks better
Edit: the horse shoes would be great for cosplay though
I’ve actually seen a cosplayer make hoof shoes like that, but better, for a satyr cosplay.
What I love is not the commentary. It's Luke's desperate smile and the "help me" eyes when seeing these clips... hahaha
There a lot of upcyclers here on YT. You should review them. They have a lot of interesting designs. Many have compilations to make it easier.
Thanks for the uncontrollable laughter, something I rarely experience. It felt great!! Just love to watch you, Luke.
I love that you do both high fashion and these idiot hacks so entertaining and instructional!
The difference between the calming intro music and the chaotic “hack” montage is sending me 😭😭😭
That Cruella Devil panda coat is everything 😂❤
Am bored at work.
This ABSOLUTELY made my work mates look at me as i stifled chuckle.
Luke....THANK YOU😂😂😂
The panda coat sent me into another dimension, thank goodness for Luke putting in work on this
Do more of bad/good everyday lewks. Not just designer, more stuff for normal people 😂
To expand on this, I’d love to see outfit reactions from photographers taking pictures of strangers
A vintage retro king with his stretched to the max, fighting-for-their-life wired headphones 🙏🏼👑✨
Love your comments!
This was a blast!
Most of these hacks are simply not worth the time and effort to produce them.
6:18 they literally switch jackets to one that already has a paint blob on it lmao
Cruella de Panda!! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

but then what do you do with this, just a pattern for sewing? I'm so confused about the use of it.
Love your channel, but please don't be sponsored by Better Help.. I don't think they align with yours or your subscribers' values
Love this so much. Haha except for the part where you made fun of the spikes under the shoes hahaha having lived in northern Sweden where you constantly walk across frozen lakes etc I used those all the time. Not paired with fake p-p-p-pink Valentino heels tho😂😂

Definitely more of this. It made me laugh so hard.
Dude, why would you add a handle that we KNOW will break on a suitcase that has a perfectly good handle? How is this a hack? Ugh
OMG your face in the thumbnail 😂😅. My new favourite saying “burn it” 🔥😂
Luke, your headphones are giving me anxiety.
haha same
I work in the school system, and this is my first day of summer vacation - what a hilarious way to start it off! I always love your commentary - knowledgable but also often funny, and just marginally snarky without being rude. Don't ever stop : ).
The horse shoes did it for me 😂😂😂 can’t stop laughing

I self taught myself sewing by youtube etc and the amount of these awful "hacks" people sent me just... I had to give up on the below as my eyes rebelled otherwise I'd lose braincells.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE PLUSH COVERED FURNITURE?!? PLEASE please look at all the amature attempts its free dopamine from laughing.
Tik Tok is where people go to be wrong and bad at things. Never seen any actual talent or insight on there. The ladybug on the sock looked awful.
I choked on my tea at the credit card necklace, thank you Luke
Pause. “Burn it.” Pause. Priceless.
9:15 Better yet, use the fuzzy socks to slip and slide all over your floor... it's fun!! Who wants hospital socks Before you break a leg!!!
10:09 Another thing you can do is wear boots. They're functional. Change when you get there.
Please please more of these videos…love Luke’s reaction!!!!
Luke I hope you recover from this video!😂😂
You see a lot of these sewing hacks on sewing IG/youtube being praised and I'm so relieved to hear Luke slagging them off, I felt like I was losing my mind.

Hahaha 2:33 I love how the cable of his headphones holds on for dear life! 😂
Awesome video, Luke, because I luv your comments and facial expressions ❤ Some of these hacks are ridiculous and others are interesting. But yeah, I'll just go buy what I need. This was hilarious, I definitely want more!! That pink jacket was a crime against fashion and humanity
Ha, ha.Glue gun slip socks Good 👍 ones
Thank you for this Luke and even though it's torture for you it really sweetened up my bus commute to work!! Was laughing and smiling the whole way through. Great start into a Friday! Thank you ❤❤❤

Please stop promoting Better Help.
The horse hood heels are the clear winner for me!
It's ankle alopecia 😂😂😂😂
He brought them back yeeeah
I’m glad your family and friends harangued you into doing this video. I was having an awful time with some news about my dog’s health this morning, so this video came at just the right time to bring me a brief ray of sunshine and and it literally made me lol. Thanks, Luke!

OMG. You a sophisticated critic/commenter and Haute is your thing. But this is your funniest video ever! 😂😂😂😂😂
🙌Hey listen ...
Your YT channel? 💫
We love it. ✨
We are obsessed with it. 🌟
We are totally in to it.👑
Thank you💛

WAIT that credit card necklace one could be such a power move though. Like what if it's not your name???? Iconic
