    I just took a trip with Capt.Kurt.the guy is a genious when it comes to walleye.Very knowladgable and not afraid to share it with his clients.cant wait to book with him again.he gives it 100 percent all of the time.Great Video Kurt

    What part of the river where you fishing that you found slack water at? I mean we fish Marysville, and we have to use 1 oz jigs all the time.

      There are slack water areas all throughout the river.
      We find them in port Huron to algonac. Stay out of the 30'. It exists from 17 feet on in.

      fish are pretty lathargic this time of year due to low water temps.
      and prefer a smaller presentation

      @@kurtstracka1891It’s helpful for newbies to start out on SCR with 1 oz then work their way down as they get a feel for the bottom. 1 oz and 3/4 oz will catch them just as well as 3/8 oz and much easier to feel bottom especially further north on the river

      @baldodoesstuff752 we do start new to this vertical jigging fishermen on 1oz in deeper water.
      But this video leans twords the advanced fishermen. Trying to not bore and provide a new and not readily used technique
