Imaginators is the worst last goodbye to a faithful series ever, we went from a series with good story and good ideas, to "Idk what to do for X game, Put Character Customization in it!"
It's a lot like Sonic Forces: They put all the effort into the OC creator, and everything else is basically tacked on... Including the OC themselves, ironically.
I didn't enjoy Imaginators that much when I first played it. That was mainly due to the story being... meh, but also due to me being a stupid idiot who barely touched senseis and who just threw random parts together with Imaginators. Thankfully I've gone back and made an Imaginator that looks like he actually FITS in Skylanders and, admittedly, that made the game feel better.
If you really want to reset your crystal you can use Skylanders giants! In the settings you can reset "broken character" and voila you now can make your new imaginator dude
You could also do it with the 3DS version of Giants, or the Skylander GUI tool. Apparently the 3ds one has a limit to how many times you can reset a figure. (might already be common knowledge, but I wanted to leave some of my experience in resetting imaginite crystals)
You're right about that. I was thinking the shift to the original cast was because of the Netflix show to advertise that. Also I think the cake isn't that stupid. Kaos is really gullible, especially when it comes to himself so I think it would totally be possible for him to fall for something like that.
@@chandelight59 oh definitely. It's just such a shame that it was kind of like a advertising hub for other stuff whilst kinda neglecting the game itself. Even the loading screens have notes talking about downloading the app or buying chests for more stuff.. :(
@@MaskedCynic true, micro transactions and advertising were the worst part of the game, but to balance it out it had care and fan service to act as a send off. Also I think it's cool your replying to someone's comments who replied to a video you made 12 days ago, I usually never get responses from youtubers who made the video when I comment. Thank you.

Do you want to know a weird thing that made me love giants? Dinorang could now deflect projectiles, they made a gen 1 usefull even though they cancled him for the gen. All earth types could auto mine without the pick but prism break could destroy crystals unlike everyone else.
Dont ask why I know this but if you buy the ds version of the first skylanders and put an imaginater crystal on it completely wipes the data on the crystal meaning if you're bored of that charater and want a diffrent one you can do that without having to buy new crystal's

It's a opinion. Honestly the artstyle isn't the biggest issue. It's mainly the gimmick I think traps are the most uninteresting thing they have ever added which is only slightly followed by vehicles in super chargers
The only thing I liked about this game was that the villains that you caught in trap team were now either npc allies that popped up in places or playable characters which showed a sense of continuity. Also something I could never get over is how they made all these character classes and somehow choppy mage ended up being a bazooka character

Eh? I don't think Imaginators was so bad. Actually that was my first game who made me attract to the Skylanders serie and I have really enjoy it so, without Imaginators, I don't think I would care about the Skylanders serie or play the previous Skylanders games. The only thing that I see bad about Skylanders is the community itself because most of the people didn't buy Superchargers and Imaginators because, boohoo, this is not a Trap Team 2 so we don't buy and then, since the 2 last games get bad sales thanks to the community and their smart brain (sarcasm), Activision/Toys For Bob aren't interest for made a new Skylanders game anymore and then those hypocrites among the community who didn't buy Superchargers and Imaginators complaint the Skylanders serie miss them despite they could have buy Superchargers and Imaginators a lot for made similar sales close from the previous Skylanders games and keep the serie alive but no since it seem definitively better to kill the Skylanders serie, how rich. Plus they forget that every games are different with different story and different new Skylanders gameplay such Superchargers for drive vehicles, Imaginators for have sensei and unlock powers, Swap Force for change body and more but some people are just stuck to Trap Team by consider it as the best game ever and don't want to know anything about others games so I prefer not think about what if Trap Team was the first Skylanders game to be release in 2011 and then Spyro's Adventure and Giants are the next one to be release with somes morrons who will throw hate on those 2 games because it's not a Trap Team-like. I regret to inform you this is my buddy helo! And he's lying! The chances of another Skylanders game isn't impossible but certainly slim due to the state of toys for Bob as a company as well as the decline in popularity in the TTL genre!
Microsoft bought Activision and toys for bob is now indie and at the end of skylanders giants 10th anniversary they said something about right around the corner 2 years from now it’s 2024 so hopefully they will finally announce a new game or just the 10th anniversary trap team we can still hope
