I honestly believe that this is going to be the last video you’re ever gonna need to see about using ChatGPT for federal proposal writing. I might be wrong, who knows where the technologies is going to go.
But you’ll see how this is a vast improvement and I really don’t think it can get much better for a long time.
So, we’re gonna be going over the new GPT’s that became a thing back in January. They use chatGPT in custom and configurable ways. I have already built about a dozen, and have been blown away by how much they can do for you, especially if you’re willing to make adjustments and improvements along the way.
Here’s some stuff you need to know before you get started. You’re going to need the open AI paid account. This gives you access to better faster, AI language models like GPT for, and you can’t create custom GPT’s without it. There’s a link below to get going on that. I highly suggest you do it for a month and if you find that you’re just not getting it and it isn’t working out you’ll probably only lose about 20 bucks.
in the description you’re gonna find a link to access the prompt that I’m going to use in this GPT. You’re definitely gonna want to customize it for your specific business and upload your proposal files and pass performance. But this will save you a very long time not having to build it on your own.
So. First let’s go over creating a GPT. The we will configure it to take in an RFQ and guide you through building the proposal to respond.
1. Building a new GPT
2. Using the prompt space to build an icon
3. Skip to the input area - straight to a smart prompt you build rather than the Q and A tool.
4. Step-by-step instructions for the user.
Upload the RFQ
Evaluate for important details (Ahmgency & Department, POC and contact information, project budget/pricing expectations, due date/deadline, performance period, T&M or FFP, any vendor requirements for eligibility, …)
Find the best matching past performance. Give a % match. Also give a number 2. Give a brief narrative for both outlining why they are good matches
Give the page ranges of the scope of work and give a 250 word summary of the project.
