I’ve been fortunate enough to already test out hyper g., round in 18 gauge and I must tell you that being that I’m a diehard confidential 18 fan I must say that the round played amazing! I was able to hit through all my shots had fantastic control, and believe it, or not had ample enough spin! Thanks Solinco for hooking me up to play test these strings. Two thumbs up.
Hyper-G 16 is my string. I love it for spin, tension maintenance, arm comfort, and cost. The only thing missing is feel. I have 21 hours on one frame and 16 hours on another and they both play fine. I could never do that with ALU Power. All-court player that gravitates to more spin but not extreme spin.
@@28mcavanaugh I've found that stringing higher improves feel. 54 and 55 are the best but it's a bit on the boardy side. After about 12 hours, the feel is gone. I can live without the feel. I just have to use visual feedback instead of vibrations. The level of freedom in not having to restring so frequently is great. It's 40 minutes round-trip to my stringer and doubling playing time would be a huge win but it looks like I can triple playing time.
Gamma Motto looks exactly the same when is on a racquet, not really the only one these days. There are few more brands with that color Prince for instance. On your statement Henry about “we know when is on a frame …” maybe years ago not now
This makes more sense to me also. I don't understand why a shaped string would have more snapback. Round string should slide more. Maybe a shaped string "grabs/bites" the ball more? I don't know. I would think a round string should be easier to slide. Round and thin on the crosses makes a lot sense. This seems to provide the least amount of friction for the mains to move.
Tennis Warehouse mentions that and plays with it in the vid, Michelle. Versus these clowns in Tennis Spin. Harry is the biggest shit talker, total retailer. lol
Not really worth it. HG and HGR are basically the same composition, so while it might not notch as quick (I don't find that HG notches that fast in the first place) there's not really any extra benefit from HGR crosses. If you wanted more snapback, a slicker and/or more durable cross would be better.
I prefer and use a round string, yonex ptp 1.25. I definitely would like to try this string out and compare the feel. I am looking for cheaper alternatives to ptp because is it an expensive string.
Hello. I don’t understand how a round string has more friction against each other than a square one. Yes, theoretically if the square strings slide against each other always in a square-edge-on-square-edge orientation, they could potentially have less friction. But in reality, if you looks at the string bed, they always tend to orient themselves so that it is actually their flat sides that slide against each other, which is more surface/friction than on a a round string. Anyways, love your channel, addicted!

The regular hyper G 1.25 it isnt soft at all.
for sure
harry cant play for shit but the hyperg is one of the stiffest strings in the world
It gotten harsher pretty quick

Try going a couple pounds lower on the crosses it will increase feel. Give it a try!

Harry, would u compare this string to Head Hawk Power?

We need a Tour Bite Round
The best part of this video was Harry hitting Chris racket and made a crisp THUNK. Then Chris have to relook at the racquet to assess the damage. Lol
Shouldnt round strings have more snapback? Square should have more notching?

What are the most powerful polys?
what racket band the blackone. look very cool
Solinco Blackout. Solinco does a white one too called a Solinco Whiteout
Whats do you think about hybrid Hyper G (mains) and hyper g round (crosses)? More snapback (spin) and lower angle?

I was thinking that this Hyper-G round version is trying to hunt in the Yonex PTP market, would likely have better tension maintenance at the least
What about as a crosss and the regular one in the mains?
Try it and report back
I am going to try this setup soon
First! ... lol ... remember when people used to do that!
Is it softer than hyperg soft?
Nope
No it’s not that soft at all
@@philfox55 so softer than regular hyper g but not softer than HG soft?

I don't think hyper g si soft and nice for the arm...i can't use it cause it's dead and stiff
Loose tension too quick 😢
Ridiculous review as always. Around string provides more snap back than a shaped poly.
