Hi Wisnu, I got the headunut from Facebook.com/bmwradios and yes it included the mic and mic cover (had to specify with the seller, but very easy). And the cupholder I got off Etsy.com years ago. It simply sits in the rectangle storage on the center console. I love it. You can still store things under it and keep it looking clean.
Looks great. I want to keep the OEM look on my E31, looked at these but seemed very pricey - however, looking at your install, it seems worth the investment.
@@alanpenrose4736there's a guy in Estonia doing OEM conversions at 500 dollars plus shipping. Or you can do it yourself if you find the kit for about 50 dollars.
Wow Wes, nice work. Last 30 seconds were the best. One of the best E34 videos on the internet and it is standing still in a driveway. You should consider maybe like, doing something like this professionally =p
thanks Trevor! its crazy how good iPhone footage looks these days. (last 30 seconds is just cinematic mode on the iPhone walking around with steady hands)
Dude I want to change my old stock unit and upgrade to something like you got. Do you have a link to share to the guy you got it from in Luthania. Also did you install the Alpine unit or did you have it installed. I was kicking around maybe putting one of those in as well. But I do like the idea of being able to keep the original head unit or the stuck looking unit. Since mine is a 95 E34 all original
I put the link in the video description, but it’s facebook.com/bmwradios. I had to install the Alpine unit myself many years ago. It worked really well for the time that it was in there, but the blue LEDs and nonstock appearance were getting to me after a while. I’m very happy with the new unit, but I will need to upgrade my speakers next
Your E34 is really beautiful👍
This is great 👍🏽
I am getting it for my E34. Sold on the OEM look and finish. Now I can get rid of the Kenwood headset 😅
Thanks brother 🤘🏽
Love early cars . They were so simple to swap audio
That was very satisfying 😮💨
where do you bought that radio?
Hi Wes, three things.. where did you get the head unit? Does the microphone comes with it? And lastly, where did you get the cupholder?
