Finally, here is a lesson on how to paint figures in Chinese brush painting! Our teacher is prof Luo Laiying, who is master Fu Baoshi's niece. Professor Luo is specialized in Fu Baoshi style figure painting, in which she combines the elegant lines of Fu Baoshi's classical figure painting with colorful Western washing techniques that she learned from her cousin Fu Xiaoshi, Fu's oldest son and a famous figure painter. This video lesson was recorded in Luo Laiying's art studio in Nanjing on March 9, 2015 with Leasha Harrison, your classmate from Australia.

Nice video, enjoy your channel. Henry , do you think Westerns can really do Chinese style of paintings due to the differences in beliefs. and the way each views nature, so on? Thank you.

Larry Nelson At the highest level all arts and beliefs are the same, just like the power of myth. My answer is yes I think Westerners can really do CBP and you don't have to give up your beliefs and views to learn a different form of art.
