That's the cleanest Model A I've seen outside of a museum. Very nice! Cheers from Tennessee!

Thank you for this video. Beautiful car. I didn't know why some Model A's have a fuse at the starter and some don't. Good info.

Have you checked out Paul Shinn’s channel? Good Model A information there. He shows you how to work on your shock absorbers, brakes, put in an overdrive if you like. He also has an all original four-door that has never been restored. Beautiful looking.

Well done. It's difficult not to like this car. "When Lizzie became a lady" is a line from a song about the debut of the Model A. It seems so appropriate since the Model A was essentially a completely new car from the Model T, refined in a number of different ways.

I agree. Thanks to Edsel Ford, it was proven that an inexpensive car could also have very good styling which the Model T never had. The proportions of the Model A are so perfect. It is better looking than the contemporary Chevrolet and Plymouth.

@@CarrotTownGarage I sold a Model A coupe and built a Model T touring project. After that I've had several Model A sedans. Finally got the 1931 phaeton we dreamed of for over 60 years.
Smokey Mountain, a Model A is much easier to handle and enjoy.

Believe it or not, when I was just 5 years old living in cold Indiana, my father decided it was time to get out of the cold. He drove a 1930 4 door model A from Bicknell Indiana to San Bernadino California. Wait!! The best was that wonderful old A was pulling a 28 ft house trailer. It's true. Those strong running cars could run forever if you had plyers and bailing wire. Just kidding.

jim mccoskey yes is 31rad shell but 30 chassis and 29 engine. Here in UK fully restored is only worth around $20k. I know they are making big bucks stateside now.

Hi, thanks for the speedy reply. Nice old Ford! My dad bought our 1930 tudor in 1960 and handed it down to me in 1995. I've only rebuilt the engine and put in a new interior. The old lacquer paint that was applied in 1961 still shines nicely. Many fond memories; driving it to high school, etc. Had business associates in Newbury for many years. Cheers!

Imagine a car that could be passed down for three generations... Like houses used to be , we have not gotten better, that's for sure... The givrbmnt never intends to make the lot of the common man better., That's the last thing they ever want to do.... Instead of men having no literally no cost housing and no cost vehicles and money in the bank to use as power , they're all on some form of welfare or work slaves. Including women and there is no family as planned

Double clutching is required but compared to the unusual controls of the Model T this is more like a contemporary car.
