I can't understand why so many people hate this album. This album is heavier than Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Also, for a finishing song, it's explosive and truly amazing.
It's fine. Tbh, Hunting Party felt a bit bland for copying off some content from Hybrid Theory, but it's still a good album.

the thing with UA-cam is that it has to be in a certain audio format, so it can't take the music straight from the album, it needs to be re-formated. Unfortunately A Line in the Sand is one of the songs that takes advantage of not having audio limitations, (being a song that swaps from being heavy, to light, and rap verses) to be fair it's not all UA-cam's fault, it was compressed or formatted poorly, but you still need to sell albums I guess.
The Tary If the song was uploaded with a lossless format, no matter what kind of encoding UA-cam decides to do after that will result in this junk. Somebody screwed up *before* it hit UA-cam in the first place.

You can think that Linkin Park it's not the best band of the world, for me it was, but ok, but you need to admit that they were the most versatile of all the times. Rap, rock, eletronic, heavy metal and pop. Nobody did more, and nailed each genre

Linkin Park is more than a band or a sad moment when CB passed away, They ARE LIFE, the kind of life that gives strength, hope and makes someone at their physical and emotional life suicidal end, have the guts to pick themselves up and carry on keep living only because the songs and music lyrics saved their actual life. LP is my life in words. To them i can never repay such a debt i owe them, so i buy their albums and keep waiting for the next one. I am still here because of them, 46 years old. THANK You LP. I am forever in debt to you guys. much love and respect.

This album is more conceptual than a thousand suns, and I believe so completely unintentionally. Seriously, this shit sounds like the soundtrack to a new dystopian fiction book. A war raging in the desert, corrupt cults fighting the "rebels". The "rebels" lose, and the world is a desert wasteland. This is a reflection of what they did and how the people fighting lost. This is a new rebellion starting. A great event is happening.
Both are same conceptual and good. Even if it is not my favourite, A Thousand Suns was the masterpiece of their albums. Why?
Let me tell you the dark ambient intro and outro of this song was written for that album.

Also the notes from Castle of Glass can fit so well in between some parts (mostly in 5:12). It's a nice way of thinking about this song, that this could be the sum of all Linkin Park sounds into a single song. Awesome way for ending an album.

Did they telle you this? cause they didn't talk about it, so you might whatever inspiration from other songs, you might be right you might be wrong, but don't assume your opinion like if it was the one and only truth about an "information" which you mention to be knowledge

I’m a long time Linkin Park fan and I never wanted to look past Hybrid Theory or Meteora, as far as I went is their discography was Minutes to Midnight. Anyway, today I was driving home from out of town and listening to their limited time station on sirius xm and heard so many more songs past those few albums that I really loved. This is one of them. I regret not giving more of their albums a chance. Meteora and Hybrid Theory always have that place in my heart though, helped me through my toughest times while growing up. Thank you to anyone and everyone who had a part in making the music available to us.
Similar experience. I only first heard my new favorite LP song, Castle of Glass, for the first time last year. I feel such regret not listening to their "newer" masterpieces years ago

I wished I had listened to more of their albums post Minutes to Midnight. I regret that I never got to see them live, and now I will never get the chance ever again. They gave us 17 years of great music with Chester from 2000 to 2017. I just can't believe it's been 6 years already..

I would love to hear this song mashed up with Guilty All The Same since this song is a reprisal of that song. That is what makes this album so brilliant and my favorite LP album - the common “theme,” that reprised riff that carries itself throughout. This album wasn’t given enough credit. It takes multiple listens to understand it. It is their rawest, deepest and most technically impressive album. I have liked LP from the beginning, but they’ve never been technically strong musicians. I love that they challenged themselves on this album and rose to the challenge.

@@NickTasy there is a musical term called a "reprise." A Reprise is a repetition of musical material heard earlier in a composition. If you listen to this song right next to Guilty All The Same, you'll see that both songs have the same riffs and melodies. That "Guilty All The Same" riff is repeated numerous times throughout the album. It's like a backbone that holds the album together. Most of Linkin Park's albums are a collection of tracks or singles. This album is totally different. It is one song broken into tracks. This album is meant to be listened to in order as one single ~hour long song.
