Hey! I want one of those! Except I don’t think it would go well in a crib. Plus, being a baby in 1960, I wouldn’t understand anything Elvis or the Everly Brothers would be singing.
I bet it was manufactured in the good ole USofA instead of CHY-NAH! Appliances and clothing were more expensive but they were well-made and therefore lasted longer. Not to mention created a healthy economy of plenty of jobs and Americans buying American products. I wish they posted what year this was...
@@Ctrl-XYZ How did I not see that?! 🤪🤣 Thanks! Are you sure they didn't edit it from "1960s?" Because that does not look like a commercial that early into the '60s. *Edit: I found it on Internet Archive and it was actually filmed in 1959 and in black and white. I suspect this is colorized.
Heading to Woolworths to get one right now!
Meet you at the Woolworths lunch counter! 😊
I think they're all out you have to go to Gemco?
@@dcformee123 Didn't have Gemco in New Joizey
Don't remember that one but had my little pocket portable 👍👍🇺🇸
It reminds me of those lovely days of the '60s. Dad bought one & I broke that. Ha ha, that was just a promise!

I have one of those I bought it when I delivered newspapers
0:11 "Sounds *more better?* " I haven't heard "more better" since the movie, "Idiocracy" And $29.95 in 1960 bucks is worth $301.54 in 2022.
"No" better.
I like that

Hope Sears has a lay-away plan. Put down $5, and 5$ a week til it's paid off.
Um, the RCA Victor for me!
30 dollars! That was half a months rent! Fancy...
