Can you take these exams online? Because I’m out of the country and I’d like to take this while I’m away. I also want to work in commercial real estate so what is the process of getting that?
Yep you can take all the exams online as long as you have a quiet and clutter free area. In terms of commercial real estate, typically there's more requirements than just your license. You'll usually need a background in finance/business and will have to apply like a normal job application and will eventually shadow a team before you get to take on bigger projects and more responsibility.
Can you please leave some information on whether becoming a realtor is a good idea? I want to be my own boss and be a realtor but I keep hearing that 90% of realtors will fail and that they may become obsolete. What do you think about these claims?
Becoming a realtor is a great idea but the claims are somewhat true. For example, from TREB stats, 47% of realtors in 2023 did 0 deals. It's not because of competition, its because a lack of self-discipline, skill, and adaptability. You have to be able to learn and take a loss for the first few months or the first year before you start earning alot for most people. It's worth it, but it won't be as simple as 5 hours a week and getting a deal. That's my two cents.
Let me know what topics I should cover next...🤔

@@shivabakshirealtor4534 thanks for sharing that with me 🙏🏻
Is the entire course online
Yep! It's self-study and at your own pace. Some people find it hard to study alone, which is why I hold monthly group sessions (link in description).
