He actually financed these past few movies himself. It's awesome that he's not beholden to a studio and can really put something out there that isn't cookie-cutter. I love the way the guy thinks, even if the execution of the movie doesn't always land.

I think M. Night deserves some credit because i found out yesterday that he actually financed those movies. Now that everything is recycled or a superhero movie he puts down his own money to deliver something fresh and out of the norm. And boy was it awesome

If black panther can get nominated for best picture we might have a chance for James McAvoy for best supporting actor for Glass. His performance was mind-boggling outstanding.
Black panther was nominated for it's cultural impact. Yes it's a great movie but that's not the reason it was nominated. Sadly McAvoy is going to be ignored at the Oscars next year but I highly doubt any other actor can top his performance this year

That gave my brother nightmares. He saw the part where the alien was in the window. He now, five years later, sleeps on the opposite side of the room, with the window curtains closed. He might never watch M.Night again if that happened.

In unbreakable it's explained clearly how David develloped the fear of water: he was drowned near death by other kids, which traumatised him. Nothing to do with aliens at all lol.

They denied the colour theory but he was kinda right about Casey being a foil for the Beast. She wore red and then later yellow/ochre (Kevin's colour)
I agree. Also, when I saw the movie I was thinking the same thing about the line in Unbreakable, if one rises another will rise up to be the other's match. There are 3 of them, so is there a 4th? Dunn and the Horde were each other's match, so who is Elijah's match, or if it's Dunn and Elijah, then who is the Horse's...I honestly thought that there was going to be a 4th revealed at the end. I still enjoyed the movie :)

The color spectrum theory: the opposite of Kevin Crumb (yellow) is Elijah Price (purple). Those characters don’t go together, but their colors are opposite and thus, complimentary. David Dunn’s color is green and the opposite of green on the color wheel is red, which means that that should be Casey’s color. The colors don’t “go with” the character pairs; they’re all just in the same sequence, if that makes sense. :)
In my opinion Casey represents love, compassion, and forgiveness and i think that's where the red comes in.
This movie made me think about what the horde has said that "the broken are the pure" now I think of it differently I think that the broken are people who can truly see the world for what it truly is and only through trauma and pain can see it idk just a thought I had while doing a marathon of the movies
Love it or hate it, Glass has a lot on it's mind and challenges it's audience. More substantial than something like Aquaman or Venom.
I used Aquaman and Venom as examples because they had by the number stories, very predictable, and no chemistry between the leads. Glass always had something interesting going on, even if you didn't like the end result.

Venom, yeah, but even if it was too commercial for my taste, Aquaman did have some substance. The whole King Arthur analogy, the idea of the distinction between what makes a king and what makes a hero, etc.

That's what I assumed it would be when I saw the trailer and I'm sure a lot of people were thinking the same. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I would have much preferred that ending to the one we got.
Really? That’s the oldest theory in the book. Any film would be wildly disappointing with an ending like that.
@@jacksonporter7105 I think RLM summed up the ending better than I can but it felt very shoe-horned in. In his other films, whether you saw it coming or not, you could revisit them and see the setup/payoff to the ending. This one? Right out of left field. I did enjoy the movie, just not that particular ending.

James McAvoy was literally one of the biggest reason I wemt to see Glass. Samuel L. Jackson is a beast and I loved Unbreakable but McAvoy was on another level that I had to see this in theaters

Yeah, but I think what the theorist was getting at was while the villain's main colors are complimentary on the color spectrum (yellow and purple are on the opposite ends of the color wheel), the heroes would be as well with David as Green and Casey as Red, which are also on the opposite ends of the color wheel. But it is very far fetched but a nice observation.
M. Night's laugh is hysterical.

Sixth Sense takes place in the Unbreakable universe. Seeing the dead is Cole’s power. Willis duel roles could simply be explained as to people looking alike... or they were twins separated at birth.

I love the ending, it's not the Marvel kind of way, but it's more realistic. I was thinking a sensational way to end it is by, Glass's mothers, Dunn's son, and Taylor-Joy all got killed. This will make all 3 super heroes to join and go after the secret society in the sequel. 😃
After watching Glass, everyone start to think which Shyamalan movies can connect this trilogy.

You are going to have a blast in IMAX. I watched it in regular and IMAX. You will feel every emotion. Totally worth it. I am gonna watch it in Dolby CInema next.

Casey does have the “moment of weakness” described in glass that might be the “unlocking” event in each super-human’s ability’s. It all fits. But I doubt it.

Out of all the theories my favorite is the one where Unbreakable and Signs are in the same universe.
In theory
Dr.Staple also has super powers which is presuasion . She convinces everybody in the movie , she even asks David if she was able to convince him that he's not special as if saying : I'm like you.
If we go by the theory of Elijah this means someone opposite of her should exist also with the power of Questioning the existence an morals of others leading them into mindbreak what is real and what is not.
If there ever gonna be a 4th movie I'd like to see these two antagonist of "Question" vs Dr.Staple try to uno reverse each other also elaborating more on Black Clover Organization.

Okay so I noticed that the character Dr Ellie Staple has red hair, this contrasts David Dunn's associated colour which is green! Now considering that she calls David "Three" when he is getting getting drowned we could assume she is potentially known as "Four", maybe she as powers?? Idk I guess we will see if they make a movie of Sarah Paulson's character. Might I also add that the cover for Glass looks incomplete withe just the three colours, though it is the third movie so maybe there is also a correlation there.

The twist in Glass works.
With the whole red/yellow being complementary colours, what op meant was that Kevin, represented by yellow, is complementary to Elijah, represented by purple. Yellow and purple are complementary colours. SO, if Casey is Kevin's opposite, her colour would be red as that is complementary to David's green. The Horde and Mr Glass are villains, Yellow & Purple, and Casey and David are the heroes, Red & Green. Since it's never officially confirmed who The Horde's opposite is, op was suggesting that it would be Casey.
I wonder if any producers use reddit fan theories to get ideas for prequels/sequels. Some internet theories are airtight and intriguing enough to be fleshed out.
Under 360° color wheels, yellow would be 55°, so the opposite end of the spectrum would be 235°, or blue, for her. That would match up Dunn and Elijah's colors opposite of each other at 280° and 100°.
That leaves four other colors available for this theory, at 145° and 325° to cover Dunn's son (blue-green) and Elijah's mother (magenta), and two we haven't seen people for, 190° (teal) and 10° (red)

I like the signs theory, maybe the one with David being a reincarnation of multiple people and Cole being tied in, but it's a bit of a stretch. My theory is asking is Lady in the water tied to this, like the agent people made these gifted people to protect us and them but it wasn't always guarantied to be good so it led to the secret organization who killed both the good ones and the bad ones, I need to re-watch some of these films.

Being an actor, myself, I can tell you that a majority of us do not care that we're called extras... It's not offensive. And it doesn't offend us. We care if a) we make the final cut and b) if we get paid. I love Sarah as an actor, but people like her creating a narrative that doesn't exist... That's going too far.

Now keep that in your head and think to when Casey Cook, in “Split” questions Hedwig. She asks a lot of questions, but if you remember, Hedwig says that he has RED socks, later on again he also says that he has BLUE socks. And that he also just ate a hotdog. But, is that an Easter egg?
