Back in the 70s and 80s trains used to pass through closed stations without slowing down. I'm presuming the ATO system doesn't allow this.

Probably because there might be people working also on the PSD, then the driver must be ready to immediately stop the train

These stations have PSDs. Why don't they just run straight through at full speed? Spacing issues?
It’s unclear why. As previously mentioned, it could be the Automatic Train Operation (ATO) that doesn’t let the train go past the station a a fast speed.

I was think around this station. But the central line to mlie end and benthal green station is closed for that.
OK so north greenwich is closed. Canary wharf is closed. Bermondsey is closed. London Bridge is closed. Westminster is closed. Green park is closed. Bond Street is closed.

North Greenwich. 2 trains per hour terminate there, and often park there and bounce back to increase the number of Jubilee trains in service in the central area. it's likely that train terminated there before it was closed

I can see people inside the train, I’m guessing that part of the line is just a junction where trains can switch tracks and you can see through to the other side.
It’s just cause the train stopped at the station 🚉 before it closed cause it needed to terminate
It wasn't parked, that is North Greenwich, it has adjacent platforms and side by side tracks. This is the only part on the JLE where this happens. What you saw was two trains passing eachother. I don't think it was parked, trains at North Greenwich can be 'parked' at the bay platform.
