Hate crimes make zero sense. Discrimination and hate of someone because of race, skin color, religion, origin are just plain stupid and wrong.
Since age 8 I've had friends from many backgrounds. Lived in Hawaii where no group is a majority. My life has been touched in positive ways by so many different people...Thank you BTS. I'm part of The Army. Joined 5 years ago while having an exceptional time for a couple of weeks in MX...Beautiful, alive people there too.
Honestly, you sound like you’re still 8. If you’ve done any type of research on white supremacy and anti black racism for the past I don’t know, 200 years!!! you will know it makes nothing but sense to commence hate crimes. Well, just so you know that my main languange is not English or Korean. But, I am glad that I acknowledge diversity. You see, there are so many people around the world with different languange, culture, backgrounds. We can't see them in our perspective only. We can't only see them based on our values. No. This is not about the supremacy of certain race. That is an old concept that makes us hate each other for no reasons. I know there are bad and good people among any groups but we can't use the some bad people to justify our racism and hatred toward innocent people that belong to the group of the bad people. Just like you , I don't know Korean and I tried to listen BTS music, see the translation, start to follow how to pronounce the words, and I get the message from their music. Their music has so many genres. It's not only about the love story. Their music is talking about it is okay not to be perfect, it is okay that we are weak and that is not okay to have the system that discriminate us. Their music full of topics that related to our daily life. That's why people around the world, with various age, gender and background, like BTS. And BTS care so much about the people in general, not only for their fans. There are so many stories from non-BTS fans who met BTS members in real life about how they being treated well by the member. If you follow BTS, you will realize that they are reachable. You can see them as a human being. They are not afraid to show their imperfection. So most of people think that BTS is their own friend (even if they never meet in person). Imagine, if we can stop to listen hearsay about someone else, and give a chance to us to get to know that person properly before to judge him/her, I think we can live together as an equal human in a proper way. Yes, we have different physical and non-physical features, but, do we have to hate them blatantly? As long as they don't harm you or anyone else, I don't think we have to shut them down right away before they try to find a way to introduce themselves. Leave your ego behind. We are living in the same planet that we don't know exactly what will happen to this little dust. Isn't that we should work together to survive? Can we stop hate or exploit each other? We don't have anyone outside the earth (yet). So , let's see ourselves as a team and not backstabbing each other.

The reason why White House has invited BTS to be a part of this discussion is because they are currently if not the most, then one of the most influential Asian artist in USA who I'm pretty sure has been subjected under racism for too many times. They have received the invitation by White House themselves so you are in no place to ask them to move out.
