the most accurate description I can give to this OST is defeatism. where you've accepted whatever catastrophe that occurred without even trying to cling to hope. which is exactly what happens when Subaru finds the massacred village.
That’s a very good word to describe it. I describe a lot of Re:Zero’s soundtrack as melancholic, but there are definitely better words. I forgot how much I love this song and how often it plays until now too
I hope this plays at a particular scene from the novels...(Spoilers) "I’m gonna kill every single one of these guys who tries to kill me! I’m gonna deny every single one who tries to depend on me! Don’t get me wrong! Don’t push your luck! It ain’t a damn joke… acting like you’re so close to me as you please! As if I give a damn about any of you! As if I give a damn about what every single one of you are thinking! Every one of you is pushing their own damned agenda on me…! If you all have your hands full with your own selves! Then I’ve got my own hands full with myself as well! Like just leave me alone… Leave me be by myself…"
When this play, you know the current route is about to end. Basically "Game Over" theme.
One of the reasons why season 1 had a great atmosphere and tone of darkness
A fellow Steins;gate and Re:zero enjoyer
@@worstpianist3985 count me in.
Just wait till Arc 6
@@seanjohnson3401 BET i'll wait until 2030 when it releases in anime format
@@worstpianist3985 S;G was my second and Re:Z was my third anime that I've watched. Both are beautyfull

That or just some long awaited existential revelation.

Man, osts like this one was what made the horror in Re:Zero so fucking perfect.
Hope these OST comes back for arc 6 🥶

Pure Goosebumps
Re zero tracks are one the best
But sadly its under appreciated :(
"This is the best you manged to accomplish?!"
I can't put into words the amount of emotions that this melody makes me feel, a masterpiece.
Poor subaru getting told that he was hated by rem and brutally killed after :(
Our boy was so desperate and lonely that he killed himself to save the girl killed him just because she held his hand while he sleep.
looking through the soundtrack again and my eyes are getting watery whenever I get to these super heavy ones
Vaya pedazo de tema, cada vez que suena se siente muy melancólico
Literal chills.

And it’s not just because of Puck
This is the best anime ost ever.
Absolutely stunning OST. The part with lyrics always gets me. Also it gives a little bit of the Mist's ending theme's vibes.
"It's not my fault!"
Such an amazing song! Too underrated!
This one is so good.
Echidna vibes
Rezero vibes
Resident evil 2 sewer vibes
My favorite ost for reading re zero
Такие же чувства, как от Self Esteem Fund
literally the something is off ost
I thought for a moment this was a Nier Automata soundtrack lol so good
Yeah, it sounds kinda like the desert theme but sadder.
@@FezSaturn Instrument-wise, yeah, there's some similarities to Memories of Dust. But in tone and purpose it's more in line with Blissful Death.
ts scared me☠️
I immediately remember the fairy tale "Lament of the Scarlet Demon"
P.s. I hope the title is spelled correctly, I just translated from Google
reminds me of roaming the empty streets in arc 5
Commenting for later
Is it going to be in episode one of season three part two or later do you think?
Sounds like something out of Dark Souls.
A lot of the Re;Zero OST does. Except the happy ones of course. Those are for Zelda XD
If Dark Souls had soundtracks, sure.
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 You say that as if the souls games don't have their own original scores, of which they do. You may be a little confused
15 episode...
У меня этот ost ассоциируется с скайримом я кажется там подобную композицию слышал где то

Nah. This ost is defeatist while that quote clearly isn't.
@@heysiri3327 I think it still works. When this quote is mentioned, the person saying it is practically giving up, as seen in the last few lines.
Commenting for later to return i shall read the novels soon
This needs to play for the entire middle part of Arc 6.
