#teamrem cuz we saw their character development together throughout the anime like the way she started trusting Subaru and the way their relationship evolved... It's pretty sad they don't get to end up together. Subaru loved Emilia I get that but like has he trully spent time with her the way he did with Rem ? All he ever did was save her or fuck up things either way it's really not a good way of making us fall for the "emibaru" thing going on... At this point I'll just go get Rem and marry her cuz she's too sweet and precious for this bs 😭✋🏻

I don't think that they will end up together, really. I haven't read the light novel nor the manga, though. My prediction is, that at the moment Emilia becomes queen, the Satella's (the Witch) soul will come out of Subaru and possess her. Then it will end either by: 1. Subaru killing her. Afterwards he will commit suicide and wake up in the real world and that he was in a coma due to a car accident. 2. Subaru will be able to re-imprison the witch in his body. Something will make sure that he will not simply re-spawn. He commits suicide, waking up in the real world and that he was in a coma due to a car accident.
Probably because while Emilia is nice, Rem actually helped Subaru, it's not really because of who Subaru cares about but who would actually make the better partner, and rem was significantly better both in personality and actions, at least in my opinion and I would say many others. Who knows maybe Emilia will make a comeback.
well people liked rem so much that the author made a rem rout where rem went with Subaru when he asked for her to go with him and guess what they had 2 half children babies. it MIGHT be cannon it might just be made for fans it might be a alternate timeline but either way the rem and Subaru has technically already sailed
