- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said abrogation of Article 370 in J&K led to the application of 890 Central laws. On Monday, Sitharaman presented a ₹1.42-lakh-crore budget for J&K for the year 2022-23 in the Lok Sabha. Sitharaman said, "What was denied to people of Jammu and Kashmir for over 70 years will be given to them.” Scrapping the Article 370 has also "enabled that which Dr (BR) Ambedkar gave for the rest of the country - SC/ST (laws) are now available for people of J&K," she further said. Nirmala Ji gives me a feeling of a Social Science teacher, which we used to have in our schools.
In the whole speach she mentioned valmiki, ambedkar, st/st but not even a word on genocide and their reestablishment. I think people only buy the obc, dalit words. This has to change , a Brahmin and human being and we cannot just ignore just we want to be secular
