Honestly is it just me or is the world going just a bit insane? Lack of affordable housing, NHS in crisis, impoverished communities all over one of the supposed richest countries. Yet, an extrmely complex and long standing issue on the other side of the planet is dictating elections. Serve Britain, talk to the people about THEIR issues and offer viable solutions. Honestly is it just me or is the world going just a bit insane? Lack of affordable housing, NHS in crisis, impoverished communities all over one of the supposed richest countries. There is discontent among our young, school attendance at an all time low. We are still recovering mentally, intellectually, physcially and financially from a pandemic. Yet, an extrmely complex and long standing issue on the other side of the planet is dictating elections. Serve Britain, talk to the people about THEIR issues and offer viable solutions. Polarisation is easy. Long term planning and fixing to a society not so much.

The turnout out in Rochdale was 39%. Perhaps that too is due to the actions of our own government and an indication that we are no more a true democracy than Iran these days.
It's a normal turnout for a by-election not a conspiracy theory. Two minutes on google would have answered your question.
