I live between the UK and Australia and was living in the US at the time of the 2020 election. The one thing I noticed in about 90% of the legacy media in all three countries is that they could not concede that people may have legitimate reasons for voting for Trump and that many people have been uncomfortable with the general ‘progressive’ drift of the past 50 years. Anyone who expresses concerns, especially if they are white and or doing so for reasons of faith is immediately dismissed as a bigot or far-right loon.
What they missed was the disastrous effect of pushing Bernie Sanders out of the running, and how that drove so many people to Trump.
